I am so grateful for Bethania Salon and my new fabulous stylist, Rasmarie! I walked in for just a wash and blow dry. Although my hair was in desperate need of a cut/​reshape, it was really looking like a mop. Rasmarie delicately offered to shape it up for me a bit. I’m EXTREMELY picky about haircuts but decided to trust her and give it a go, I am SO GLAD I did! She respected the fact that I wanted to keep the length which was very important to me. She gave my hair new shape and layers that blend beautifully and make sense. The cherry on top was the amazing blow out, I was getting compliments all weekend!
The atmosphere in the salon is laid back and welcoming, Betty, the owner is also an amazing stylist. The price is right and location is convenient, along with having a new haircut I am proud of, priceless! I highly recommend the salon, a little gem in the heart of Kendall!

Have your haircut and style done by Betty only. I made the mistake to do it with Rasmarie and what a disappointment! First, I showed this woman a picture… How much more clear could it have been? Anyway, she dyed my hair and, I kid you not, it was the same color I walked in with! I had a dark brown color before and I wanted to dye it back to my natural lighter brown. The cute part was when she said she loved the «chocolate» color it came out as… That should’ve been my cue to leave but I felt bad and figured that maybe it wouldn’t turn out so bad. Big mistake. And what made it worse was that Betty was attending the girl next to me and I heard her say, «Wow Betty you got the color perfectly.» I wanted to shoot myself. Lol. Then I went ahead and did the highlights; long story short, the highlights looked horrible with the color she had dyed my hair. And finally I wanted to cut my hair in LONG LAYERS and all she did was chop off a bunch of my hair. Basically, I was very disappointed with her service. I should’ve made an appointment with Betty herself after seeing all the good reviews for her.
And for the icing on the cake, at check out, I was charged 170 dollars for shitty service and she had the balls to tell me that «normally they don’t accept tips on a debit card». Really?! She is lucky I even tipped her. Needless to say I will never return here. If I ever recommend people, it’d be with Betty only. And that is what I get for not speaking up and being too nice.

I have been cutting my hair with Betty for years. I have gone to other places b/​c they are more convenient and closer to my job, but I always long for the days Betty used to cut my hair and I go running back to her. She is great. She always cuts my hair the way I want it. I hate hair stylists that say they understand what you mean but then cut it their way.
Anyway, she just went out on her own and opened this salon. It is on the small side but I like it because it does not feel pretentious like the bigger salons. The prices are reasonable and the location is good. They do hair, skin (facials, peels, make-​up, etc.) nails and wax.
