Last night I ordered minestrone soup, fettuccini Alfredo with spinach, chicken, and mushrooms, as well as fettuccine carbonara. The minestrone soup had decent flavor but was watered down. The fettuccine Alfredo had zero flavor what so ever, and the chicken that I ordered with it(which had an add on price) had chewy fatty pieces and was undercooked. Lastly, and most disappointing, the fettuccine carbonara was basically a fettuccine Alfredo with pieces of ham deli meat and undercooked chicken. Classic Italian fettuccine carbonara has either prosciutto ham, which is very different from Cuban ham, or bacon in it, along with onions or shallots and garlic. This food does not have the quality to be called Italian food and if you’re thinking of ordering from here I highly recommend that you take your money somewhere else. Not only is the food a disgrace to Italians but I firmly believe that it’s over priced for the quality that I received.

basanis is a very humble italian restaurant that despite being so close to my apt, i dont go that often. the food is good. ive been a couple of times but only during lunch time, so i take advantage of their lunch specials. very affordable and theres plenty of street parking near by. i have never seen basanis full of clients which is surprising. so now you know. if youre around for lunch and italian in in your mind, this is a decent place that will satisfy your lunch cravings.

I come from NY so the pizza isn’t comparably great but it’s decent compared to what I’ve had. The lasagna is good. The wings are just the right amount of crispy. But their hot sauce has a horrible after taste. If you must, be sure to pick up your food. I’ve never eaten in but I know for sure the delivery service is horrible. I was expected to wait an hour for a one topping pie and it came 1 hour and half later with no consolation what so ever. It’s a cute family owned restaurant but their customer service needs a lot of work along with the quality of their food.

I recently found this gem of a restaurant serving wholesome Italian food. The fettucini alfredo, ravioli, and ziti are amazing. Now, for the pizza. I ordered a small regular margarita style and it eas fresh and tasty. What really seals the deal is my favorite zeppoles. Lightly battered dough and powdered sugar. Eat in and delivery are great.

Great prices and awesome Italian food! I took my grandma here tonight and I was happy we stopped by. The service was very friendly and we were served quickly. The garlic rolls were awesome. I had Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti in pink sauce. The chicken was moist and the pink sauce was spot on. I will be coming back!

They have great lunch specials! Rolls, salad and choice of entrée. Very good portions and fresh. The owners, Sonia and Marcos, are great too. A new favorite lunch spot in Midtown. Bonus: free parking in back.

Stopped by with group of 10 and they were very accommodating. Super nice and family oriented. Hot wings were good and the right amount of spice. Pizza was thin crust and good taste. I had an antipasto, which was good portion. About the area: not much around.

I often have food from Basani’s. This restaurant has a feel that you are eating at home clean and ready. Servings are big enough and they have incredible affordable prices for the area. Flavors are consistent. Love to order Delivery Pizza from them a way better option than popular pizza places in town. Check out their lunch specials you will thank me later. I could eat their lasagna with garlic rolls every day. Will definitely continue ordering from here. Did I mention Delivery is always on time and accurate. If you rather to eat in or pick up they have free parking in the rear area a plus many restaurants in the zone do not have this convenience. Very recommended.

Portion size is very small for the price. $ 8 for manicotti w/ricotta that only brought 2… $ 4 for one-four inch cannoli? Food is good but I wish it brought more. I’m still hungry. I got delivery, took over an hour to arrive. When it did, the containers were all crushed, room temperature & leaking sauce all over the bag. Hope their service improves or this restaurant won’t last long

Perfect lunch spot — best part is that their delivery is pretty quick. The lady who answers the phone is always so cheerful! If you haven’t tried the buffalo chicken pizza you are missing out! Have only visited the location for take-out but it’s very clean and ready for any one to come grab a slice or enjoy a tuna melt(Which is probably my second favorite thing on the menu).

It took my boyfriend and I months to find an authentic Italian place to order in and we finally did. This place has one of the best pizza’s and let’s not forget garlic rolls we’ve tried in quite a while. The delivery was quick and they did not forget anything. Will definitely continue ordering from here.

I will recommend to any person not to visit this place, please do yourself a favor and not waste your time and money. This afternoon I went to this location around lunch time, they were not busy at all, only 5 people eating at that time(3 customer in a table close to the window and 2 customer eating at the counter) when I did my approach to the counter to speak with a lady employee, I ask her nicely if the Manager or Owner were available, and there was another person standing by her(his name CARLOSTHECOOK) told me they were so busy(the only busy thin they were doing was watching the soccer world cup on TV) and he scream at ME to «GETTHEFUCKOUTOFHERE» in front of all 5 customer and he went inside to the kitchen. WOOOWVERYNICE… The way you treat people in this place call family restaurant. I got so angry that I ask the lady what was his name and she told me was«CARLOSTHECOOK» and the Owner«George» and told them in front of everyone«very nice the way you treat your customer» and I got out of there. Let me tell you something where ever are this guy from, need education and If I was the manager or owner I will fire him ASAP. BYTHEWAY… what was the cook doing outside with his dirty apron on outside standing watching the game, what a great service… CONGRATULATIONS for you people. I wonder why the restaurant was empty at that time even having a lunch for only $ 6.95 that’s very sad, my recommendation to the owner: Need to be more time in your own restaurant and hire quality people. Thank You Very Much.

Basani’s is a nice mom & pop Italian restaurant. I’ve ordered from them a couple of times and they have not failed. The stuffed shells are my favorite their. The pizza is not to shabby either. Basani’s is great option for Italian take out.

So I never ate at Basanis before and I order it go. I ordered the chicken francese; I must say it was very delicious. I was pretty disappointed in the portion size though, I don’t think they give you enough chicken. You also get two garlic rolls and a side of pasta with either the red sauce or the white alfredo sauce. I went with the Alfredo. The Alfredo was good, but a little to thick for me. Overall i was really pleased with the meal. I would have given it for stars but the portion size really bothered me. I have attached some photos of the yummy meal. Please note the size of the fork in retrospect to the chickem to give you a feel of the portion size.

YUMMYYUMMYPIZZA!!! My boyfriend is a PIZZA fanatic and orders from here ALL the time… He always asks for the pizza to be a bit over cooked so that the crust is crunchy… And boy is it ever… Crispy crunchy crust… DELISH… Very good pizza… And their Chicken Parmesan meal is pretty good as well… I usually get it with pink sauce… YUM!!!

It pains me to write this review — I have ordered from here a few times over the past two years, and while the food was never amazing, it was always homemade and the owners were very friendly. I was very sad to see frozen, pre-packaged meatballs in my spaghetti, and a tiny portion of meat sauce for $ 2.00. Before, the meatballs were huge and noticeably made in house, with the meat sauce also chunky and house-made. Perhaps they lost their chef? Hubby ordered a medium pizza, which was definitely better than the spaghetti, but not much more exciting than a chain pizza. Basani’s — please please please start making things in house again!

Basani’s a small neighborhood Italian-American restaurant ran by a Venezuelan-American family from New York. It’s nothing exciting, honestly. The pasta isn’t authentic, nor is the pizza. However, prices are cheap and affordable, so if you’re just in a quick mood for generic pizzas and/or pastas, then this place should be fine.

Nothing special, nothing super, but it’s not meant to be either; just some decent food with an Italian/American edge to it at a within budget price. Had a good plate of Calamari and meat lasagna, with both being simple, filling, but tasty and satisfying. The help staff is more than just warm, friendly and the place has a pleasant no rush, enjoy atmosphere about it.

Ok, so let me explain three stars: I’m half-Sicilian, but when push comes to shove, my Irish half takes over and is able to eat just about anything. With that said, my meal from Basani’s did what it was meant to do: feed me. Ritch and I ate our meal from the bar at Vlada’s. Yup, they’ll deliver there. So, several cocktails into happy hour, we both had a need for medicinal eating. Basani’s fit that bill. I had a feeling it wouldn’t be authentic Italian cuisine, and with my expectations managed, I was not disappointed. It was fine in a pinch. Was it Moriano’s? No. However, that said, Moriano’s is gone, and I need to move on. Tonight, when having yet another Irish craving for Italian food(You see, real Italians don’t eat Italian food out) we’re ordering from Pizza Volante. I’ll be comparing and contrasting the two in a review soon. Maybe Basani’s will work for my Irish side, and Pizza Volante will be reserved for my Sicilian side. Wouldn’t that be nice? Friendly compromise amongst nations… right here in Miami.
