Do not trust them. TOTAL SCAM!
They called and said «for what you ordered, we can only do it for an additional $ 40»…what? I placed an order, was charged on my visa, and confirmed for same day delivery. now they want $ 40? And THEN after 30 min on the phone with the «customer service», they were happy to charge my card to «credit at Ava’s». NO WAY. Are you kidding? I would NEVER order again — (not to mention the amount during my «check out» went up mysteriously $ 14 when charged on my credit card for the shipping, during their «free shipping» day like the other reviewer.
I can’t believe this is a legit business.

bait and switch website says free delivery but they add $ 25 for service charge discounts reflect s 40% off on website but they do not honor them. This company should not be allowed to exist. They take all your information up front spend 15 minutes on the phone to then spring all these up charges on something they advertise for $ 39.95 free delivery ends up costing you $ 75, run far run fast stay away from these unethical folks

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS! They say free delivery — and then charge a $ 13 Service Fee! They are NOT a local company. I was sent an email asking ME to contact THEM — and then placed on hold and finally asked to schedule a call back. I do not expect to hear back from them. Given other comments on this site, I do not expect my order to be delivered on time — or of any quality. Time to file a complaint with the Florida Attorney General’s office. Others should do the same.

Worst ever! I gave 1 star only because they refunded the 9.99 early delivery fee for my grandmas funeral bc it was ½ hour late. This was only after I spoke to a supervisor and demanded it. The flowers were in a white planter, not the standing spray I paid for and obviously only half the size!!! Very upsetting & disappointing!!!

$ 90 for flowers that looked nothing like the site … Stay away … Cheap flowers … Bunch of crooks

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!! This company is a joke. First of all, this is not a local company so don’t let the advertising fool you. I will keep the rest of this short and sweet.
I ordered a premium arrangement for my mother’s birthday to be delivered same day. The order that was delivered looked like the red roses you buy on the street for $ 9.99. This was not at all what I ordered and in fact the card that was left for my mother was addressed from someone that none of us know. They clearly made a mistake in the order and when calling customer service, they apparently could not get the local shop that actually put together and delivered the order to admit a mistake. The flowers were left for them to come back and pick up and I asked for a refund. At this point, they will not proceed with correcting the issue until they receive a picture of what was delivered (which has already been sent to them via email).
From now on, if you want to place an order from a local shop, I suppose that you should research a little more before placing the order. This company is running a complete scam and are incompetent in every way.
Oh yeah, in case you still decide to order, you should know that «free delivery» actually means you will be charged a service charge.
Now for the good: Yeah right… NOTHING!!!

I was looking for a local florist on line to send flowers and found this, it said local, family owned, but it is scam, I ordered a larger arrangement, they sent a smaller one, on the wrong day, without the balloon that I ordered, It was a rip off, said free shipping and they added on an $ 18 service charge, DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS. I have been trying for three days to get a response, sent photos and have been getting nothing but a run around. IT is time for a Credit card dispute

I looked up a same day flower delivery service in Miami and found Avas Flowers. Their prices seemed decent and they advertised «free shipping» so I spent quite some time looking for an arrangement with some vibrant colors for my best friend’s bday. I was not looking for something fancy but rather inexpensive and pretty.
The good: It was indeed same day delivery and they didn’t charge extra for «shipping»
The bad: There was an additional $ 13 charge for «service and handling» — to me this sounds as they just changed the wording from «shipping» to «service and handling» to still charge you extra money. They claim that’s not the case, but I think if there is an extra charge aside of taxes then you should know it before spending too much time on their site like I did. I fell for it.
Their arrangements looked pretty online but I was not pleased with what was delivered. What I bought was a small bouquet of flowers and roses with very vibrant/​happy colors. What arrived was mostly white flowers and they didn’t seem as fresh. The colors were not reflective of my personality or the personality of the person receiving the arrangement.
I wish I could add pictures so you can see yourselves! I felt this site was very misleading and would not use it again.
I have addressed my concerns and got at least three e-​mails saying «sorry you were not satisfied» and «no, we do not charge for shipping but we charge a flat fee to service your flowers»…I do not understand still why they have to «service» the flowers if the arrangement is not even the one I ordered!
