I called 1−800-GotJunk last night and they were able to send someone out to my house the very next day. The men(Brian and another mover) that came where courteous and professional, they gave me a price quote and where able to help me move out my old stuff in no time. They also accepted credit cards. Great service and very reasonable price.

I had called the Salvation Army to come out and take two twin beds in great condition. However, when they got there they informed me they could not take them because they were still intact and not taken apart. I asked for a few minutes to take them apart and they said no and left. I had waited for half the day for nothing and I was moving into the space the next day! 1800-Got-Junk are my heroes! Same day service is a lifesaver. Within a few minutes after booking online they were coming to save me in an hour. They are so courteous, especially on the phone when they call you to let you know their arrival time. They arrived exactly when they said they would and they were kind and careful about taking everything out. Is it a little expensive? Yes. But you’re paying for competent, efficient, and generous service. Definitely worth the $ to me!

1800 Junk moved out a huge yellow sofa down 3 flights of stairs and said that the sofa would be donated to Haiti since it was in good condition. Anyway it cost be $ 100 which was fair since I knew I would never be able to get the sofa out myself. Also, other donation centers like Goodwill or Salvation Army could not guarantee a pick up time for me. The movers are professional and wore nice clean uniforms. The only thing that was weird was that the driver/mover asked to use my bathroom.
