The service was ok and the food was nothing to write home about if I’m honest. After reading some positive reviews on Unilocal I was kind of surprised by my subpar meal. Here are the details: I ordered a Cuban toast egg and cheese sandwich, which sounds like it would be very good but this was not the case. The eggs tasted very cheap and I couldn’t really taste the cheese. The home fries that came with it were cold and weren’t very flavorful. My guy ordered the omelette with cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and onions and he said it was pretty good. All in all, after not really enjoying my meal and wasting almost half of it I don’t think I’ll be back. Maybe if they get higher quality ingredients the food would be better.

This is a friendly classic American diner. Fast services, usually no wait, simple classic American breakfast dishes done right.

Very Dirty, Slow service, Low Quality food. On the plus side if you live in Springs it’s close and opens early. If you are not a regular and by that I mean old, prepare to be treated poorly and almost as if you really shouldn’t be there. There’s a half inch of dust on every surface and that’s just what is presented to customers. Floors are filthy, and bathroom, the one, isn’t well kept. I ate only foods I knew were fried long and well paid and left. Don’t really need a repeat performance anytime soon.

I’ve been here twice so far and I love this place. It has your typical diner food and style. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is pretty good. I normally get the Country Boy which for a basic breakfast is quite filling. It’s a nice diner in the heart of Miami Springs. I would love for them to have bigger sausages with their breakfast meals, the sausages are good but small. The price is ridiculously inexpensive and you’ll be satisfied with your food and experience. I recommend this place.

I’m going to be straightforward. Our service was poor. The OJ glass had old lipstick on it. The waitress was unfriendly. There was a bad odor to the restaurant. I easily could have made better food at home. Save your $ 20 and have a bowl of cereal.

We ordered the Wayne’s special and the chili omelet. They were both pretty good with a few exceptions. My biscuits and gravy was lukewarm and there was something rock hard that I bit into in my sausage patty. The homefries that came with the omelet looked like they had been sitting on the grill for awhile and were cold. The colada was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. Prices are about right for what you get I suppose. Not a bad place overall but I don’t know if we would choose to come back here.

I stopped into this quaint, old school diner for breakfast this morning and had a great tasting, inexpensive breakfast served to me by a very friendly waitress. I ordered Wayne’s special which brings biscuits & gravy, an egg, and a sausage patty. It was priced under $ 6 and was a perfect portion to satisfy my hunger and get me ready for the day. My girl ordered the Meat Lover’s Special, which is very similar to the meat lover’s skillet that they used to serve at Denny’s, with the only exception being that it tasted 100 times better at Cozy. I highly recommend both dishes. The place is also very spacious. The only drawback is that from the booth where I was sitting, I could hear music blaring through the walls from the tanning salon next door. It wasn’t a big deal to me but I’m sure not everybody is trying to hear Juvenile’s «Back Dat Azz Up» first thing in the morning.

We went today and it was ok !!! The service took at little long to take our order but if you want a good breakfast for a good price you should definitely go… Everything was ok … Not the greatest but I would definitely go back. It has a good location and it’s pretty close to main Miami Springs. Also the thing I loved the most was the fresh squeezed orange juice !!!

Been here for breakfast and lunch. Excellent both times. Had the breakfast super starter with whole wheat toast and home fries, delicious! The price awesome! I took to go a chicken gumbo soup, excellent taste. They serve breakfast all day. That’s a plus for me since I love breakfast at any time of the day. Superb service. Can’t wait to go back and try another dish.

Delicious! I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries and toast. Everything was perfect. My husband ordered pancakes, sausage and a bagel. His only complaint was against the poor bagel but we’re from NYC so nothing will come close to our bagels. Overall it was a cute mom & pop establishment that serves amazing fresh home cooked food. We dined at other establishments in South Beach, North Miami and a few other areas and nothing came close to Cozy Corner. I’m disappointed we found this hidden gem our last morning in Miami because it’s a place I would definitely revisit.

To my surprise I was sent the fallowing message: Hello my name is Alejandra and I’m one of the Cozy Corner staff members and also the owners daughter in Law I been working here for the last 4 years and we haven’t sell Pepsi in long time so you confused us with a different place because that review you gave us is false, we apologize if you didn’t like our service My Reply: I’m very sure that my review is not false, since it is clearly based off of my own personal experience. We asked for Coke and we were advised only Pepsi. If your server/waiter incorrectly advised us, and gave us attitude about it, how is that our fault? Wish you could have invited us back to make things right, and form a second opinion, but clearly being told that I’m «false» is a deterrent, and shows the kind of attitude in a restaurant that we stay clear from. Wishing The Cozy Corner all the best. Ok: I live in town, I had visited the Cozy Corner many times throughout my life, and I am very sure exactly where I was. Sitting with my back towards the back exit, in the middle row, with the Soda machine to the left of me, looking out at the tall windows towards Westward Drive. At the front desk sat an older women with a little bowl of peppermints waiting to be feasted on. Of course I remember very clearly the exact moment we were given attitude. I think I am a fair person, and I don’t go out looking to have a bad time, and finding faults in all the places I visit. I give the servers/waiters the benefit of the doubt, and I even recognize if they are having a bad day, and try to go easy on them. We are big tippers, we actually care for our small local business to succeed. So instead of trying to make it right, I am told that I’m wrong. I think there is something of a rotten underneath this restaurant that needs to be fixed.

ahhhh… cozy corner. So old, so dirty, but so good. I mean, this is definitely better than Denny’s. The prices are probably my favorite part. $ 16 for 2 people? My bf always orders the Country Boy and I order the Country Girl. Both come with eggs, bacon, sausage and either french toast or pancakes. The service is always really great and fast. We’re usually out of there in about 30 minutes. Love this place.

Stumbled across this place after having my car serviced in the area. My friend and I were starving and looking for a hearty breakfast and cozy corner did not disappoint. I got the the country girl special and my friend got an omelette and both were delicious and the portions were tremendous! The icing on the cake for my experience here was the service. This place was so inviting and my waitress was very nice! I will definitely be returning here

After reading a few reviews I had to stop by and my expectations were exceeded. Great food, great price, and most importantly excellent service. My server was Rafaella; she was very nice and attentive. Carol Coones(the manager) was great as well. She walked around the restaurant and greeted everyone with a warm smile. She introduced herself and made sure I was well taken care of. Everything from the food to the people is good at Cozy Corner.

This review is for breakfast only. So I get there a few minutes after six in the morning today and it is quiet. You could almost hear a pin drop while diners read their morning paper and sipped on their Java. The waitress comes to me to take my order, I open my mouth, speak and the few patrons that were there turned around. See, not only am I Partially Deaf but, I forgot White America speaks at a much lower decibel than their friends from another Country named Hialeah aka Havana del North, located just across the Miami River. Bing bang boom, «where are you from» and by then, in typical Cuban from Hialeah fashion, the whole neighborhood knew a Cuban was visiting America from just over the Miami River. The restaurant itself is exactly the way you expect a diner from back in the day to look like. I almost walked back outside to make sure there wasn’t a crazy Doc driving a DeLorean waiting for me outside. Please, do not change this. Nothing fancy, lots of Coca Cola Memorabilia, chrome, everything was clean and unlike pre-1980s South Beach, it did not reek of «L’eau du Grim Reapér in a toilet» Parfume. I purposely sat by their windows where they close the shades at times, not a spec of dust on the window sills. I also walked outside to their back alley to look at the kitchen. It is organized and kept clean. Give them a break, they are a very old restaurant. You can eat here blindly and thank you for that. There is curbside parking, back alley parking and there is a free parking lot behind the shops across the street. The Food: * Eggs Benedict with a side of Grits — Eggs were cooked perfectly, ham was wonderful, muffins were toasted just right and no complaints here from the Cuban. These here grits are not your average that turn into soup before you start eating them. I’ll take someone that can hear next time so I can get you the details on exactly how homemade they is. They were truly a delight to eat with cheese under them. Hollandaise Sauce was plenty on the plate. All in all, your typical Eggs Benedict. You can’t go wrong if you order this dish. * Biscuits with Sausage Gravy — You know I just had to have this if I was coming here. So, I put the first bite in my mouth: Me: «¡OYE Señorita ven pa-ca qué I have to ask it to you song-seen!» Nah, I’m just kidding; I really didn’t say that. Anyways, «Do you make your own biscuits here?» Her: She smiled and nodded«yes» as she happily refilled my cup of Java. Yes ma’am, that’s what I’m talking about. The Sausage Gravy was a Vegan’s nightmare come true. It was rich and filled with bits of sausage. I ordered the smallest order which was two biscuits. You will get LOTS of this gravy. You«may» end-up eating the remnants of it like a soup and then licking the plate. Yes, I sure did. Don’t judge me, I’m from Hialeah. Now, I just have to go back and try one of their lunch/dinner menu items. Today’s main special, written on the board when you walk-in, was Pork Chops. Yeah, I pretty much have to come here one more time at least. Here’s an unexpected kicker, they have an Italian Espresso Maker with a sign that reads, «Cuban Coffee» behind the counter. I was going to take a picture but, 1. There were people sitting at the counter. I don’t do Humans with pictures. It was difficult to get a clear shot of it without someone coming out. 2. How much more«HEY I’m a Cuban from Hialeah and this is weird in Miami Springs» could I give them in just one morning? I wasn’t going to put her on that mission. I came here for an American experience. For those of you not familiar with this area; yes, the Sister Cities are that different.
