I don’t understand the bad reviews. I’ve taken several items and they do a great job. I have scuffed up a pair of boots pretty bad and they made them look new again. They reheeled a couple of items, and yes it might take a few days, but they have to order new soles before they can replace them. Overall a great shop and the woman that works the cash register Is very friendly.

Rude on the phone. Just wanted to ask how it all works and she didn’t want to help. Will go elsewhere. Also they require payment up front so be prepared to pay.

Village Shoe Repair has repaired a few pairs of shoes for me. Their prices are very reasonable and they are always very nice and take the time to explain what kind of repair I need(and why). I highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs a shine, heel repair or anything else shoe related.

They are SLOW… I agree that its the only place in the area but they are only open Tuesday thru Friday, and Saturday until noon. I took a pair of shoes there mid-December and they still weren’t ready in the 2nd week of January. They say they only get deliveries of parts on Saturdays and tend to be closed more Saturdays than open. Their work is fine, just be prepared to wait, and wait…

They’re nice people. They do a good job w/shines, but repairs are a lil iffy in my experience. Shoe repair shops are hard to come by these days, so I keep coming back. They’re off of NE2nd St, the main commercial street that cuts through the Shores. Road construction has ripped that street up for over a year now and all the businesses are hurting as a result. Just another typical story for the«Miami way». But if you need your shoes fixed or shined, this pretty much your only option in these parts.
