Outback Steakhouse

This place was visited after a failing attempt in a nearby restaurant!
I was surprised for the good service we had! Food was also that did surprise me as well… We had the onion as a table sharer and it was very much enjoyed!
I had the ribeye (boneless) that was quite good… (Please no comparison to steak houses) so quite nice there… Also had the sweet potato and broccoli that were well prepared as well.
The place is quite clean and beware, the AC is quite low, so expect to be cold inside… Nothing to do to lower it…
All in all, pleasant surprise…

Where do I start? I usually don’t critique chain restaurants but this one just did it for me. To start. Drinks come before side salad, not the other way around. Service and attention is not at the top of the list. Good was alright. My partner ordered the steak and shrimp. Apparently the budget isn’t as great as it used to be, shrimps were smaller than the usual. Don’t know what happened there. Then we order dessert, it takes them almost 20 mins before they tell us they ran out of the dessert. Seriously? Come on you should know right away. Management needs to pick there game up and figure things out.

Great location in the Miami Lakes neighborhood for lunch or dinner. I usually prefer to sit at the bar and enjoy my meal there, and catch any sporting events going on with the TVs they have available. Oh and did I mention?! They serve their beer mugs icy frosty cold! Delicious!
I’ve been to this location numerous times and the food has always been consistent, cooked well, warm, and delicious. I wish I can say the same for the service… most of the staff here is awesome, but there have been few very rare experiences where the service does lack. As for the food? If they have the steak and lobster special available I recommend going for that! Outback is known for their steaks and they deliver on that! Although my all time favorite is the alice springs chicken. Comes grilled with melted cheese on top that is just simply amazing, and mouth-​watering. As for appetizers… can’t go wrong with the bloomin’ onion… if you haven’t tried it yet… get to it! Especially with that magic pink like texture sauce that has a kick to it… so worth it!
I’ve been to a couple outback locations, this one in particular has been around for a while. They’ve definitely stepped their game up from the last couple times I’ve been here.

Eat here fairly often for lunch since I work nearby. The food isn’t great but the staff tends to be good and you can get in and out quickly. It’s A-​OK as a quick place to grab some lunch on a workday.

To start this location in Miami Lakes has improved by leaps in décor, service and food quality.
the wings and beer are on point!
you can never go wrong with the steaks just make sure you ask for it done one temperature below what your use to from a steakhouse, they tend to over cook.
the pork porterhouse is excellent! just like the Lamp cops just make sure you tell the to sear the fat on the out side if you like it medium rare like i do. Plenty of tvs by the bar to watch the latest games.
Give this neighborhood spot two thumps up and 5 stars.

One of my favorite restaurants; we started with a bloomin onion — perfectly crispy and delicious, my BF ordered the bloomin burger and the temp was spot on medium, I order the no-​rules pasta and it was perfect. Chicken was nice and moist. The atmosphere and staff were great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone of my friends. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Bad service, cheap portions. Food was actually pretty good. However the lack of attention and manager who didnt care what our experience was made this a bad time. Go to any other Outback, this was one is plain mismanaged.

Worst place ever, my husband and I went for a casual lunch first of all they didn’t give us forks or knives we had to take it from another table, the steak was horrible, to be honest was the worst place I ever been we are not coming back for sure

I like coming here because the prices are incredible the service is impeccable and the food irresistible. When we got here this time the server was brand new. He was a flipping idiot. Once I told him what was going on he apologized and quickly rectify the situation. I’m glad you took care of it proves that they still employ quality people

Had to go from 5 stars to 3 stars.
I order the same thing almost every day for lunch with my mother– chicken on the barbie with vegetables. Today all of the vegetables were rotten!!! I ate a broccoli without noticing and almost gagged. When I looked at the veggies, sure enough they were black and brown and rotted.
I don’t even want to tell the location because I’m scared they’ll hate us for next time. I don’t think I’ll want to come here again. Who serves rotten food?

Straight up mediocre restaurant. This is the type of place we go to as a last choice because it’s in our neighborhood and time and time again we say we aren’t coming back in a long time. The food is just ok and the servers don’t really try to please. Just tonight we had a young lady, with glasses (ombré ponytrail) we felt so rushed by her. She tried to tell me a kids meal was too small for my child, when I order this every time. It just didn’t feel right. In not going back in while, and then i go again. Also, server never rushed to pick up the plates but she rushed to pick up the check. Fakeness

I’m going to have to say 5 stars for tonight’s service. We ordered last minute, about 10 mins to close to be exact and the service was still up to par.
When we arrived right at close and attended by a young and smiling woman. We had forgotten to let her know about out RetailMeNot coupon and I could see it in her face that she was gonna have to do all three receipts over, but she paused and did it with a smile.
The food was ready for us and lots of extra bread was added. I’m gonna have to say this was the BEST steak in my outback history that I had eaten without one smidge of fat and perfectly medium well! I give it to the chef working late this past Monday night cause hands down the best outback meal I’ve ever had!

Food is tasteful, service is normal, the menu is simple and affordable, food presentation superb!

First time I’ve ever been to an Outback restaurant.
The service was exceptionally fast. I thought we would be there a long time, but we got seated immediately, the waiter was on point, the food came out fast. It almost felt like it was a 5 min dinner. I did enjoy not having to wait for my food. I thought the portions were small for the price. It was yummy though. I wish the brownie from the dessert would’ve been hot. Nothing is more delicious than a hot brownie with cold icecream. But oh well.
I would Def come back and try this place out again!

Place just gets worse and worse.
Service, quality and presentation mean nothing for this location. It’s really sad to see a homegrown chain restaurant be rated so low by so many patrons.
A splash of potatoe, steak was tough, service was very bad. We ordered some apps and we only got 2 out of the 4.

VERY disappointed. Its slow and yet there is food all over the floor. The waiter won’t pickup our dirty dishes, and keeps running away when we want to order something. I usually sit at the bar, and this time we had to sit in the normal seating area and it needs severe improvement.
Management should do their job. This place is gross!

I’ve always played it safe and ordered the Alice Springs Chicken. But this time, I opted to go for the beef. So, I ordered the prime rib with baked potato and steamed vegetables. At first bite, I swear to you, I heard angels singing. I swear!
They offered the meat cooked Aussie style and nicely seasoned or grilled. The waiter suggested that I order it Aussie style. I chose to have it cooked medium well. What a fantastic choice.
The cut of meat was HUGE (I think it was 12 oz.) and came to the table super hot and tender. I must say that the medium well was done to perfection. Kudos to whomever was working the grill!
What a great meal. This is my new go to spot. See ya there!

I frequent this location all the time, due to it being a ten minute drive from my parents’ residence. Outback Steakhouse is on my top 10 list. The food is always amazing. The waiters/​waitress are always very attentive, they come to your table and they make sure we have everything we need. Depending on the promotions they run, the two plates that Ialways highly recommend and my personal favorites are:

Outback special 9oz (butterflied) medium well (my choice) with a loaded baked potato and a house salad with bacon and thousand island dressing
No rules pasta with chicken and shrimp (always request extra parm, if you want it cheesy)
As far appetizers, I rarely order them but when I do I usually get:
Loaded french fries with cheese, and bacon
Loaded french fries with ranch dressing
coconut shrimp
Depending on my hunger rate, and dependending on the meal I usually start off with a garden salad, I telll my waitress to add bacon, it makes it more tasty in my opinion, or I order a very tasty Chicken tortilla soup. One thing I also love about Outback is their call ahead seating, so wait times is vey minimal when you place that call. Never had a complaint about the food or service. I love this place.

This location is typically packed. So it’s always wise to call ahead which is what they recommend and we did. Upon arrival we waited only 5 minutes while there had been people waiting 30+ minutes. Word to the wise call ahead.
The waiter was very friendly and helpful no complaints. We ordered the shrimp on the barbie appetizer and 2 filet’s a 6oz and a 9oz. The Cesar that came with mine was very salty I would say above average on the salt, the actual steak which I ordered medium was good, no complaints and the sweet potato in the side was average but good.
The shrimp was average, nothing that will wow you but good. It came with a little bit of lettuce in the side that was browning. I would figure the presentation on the dish could have been better, maybe a greener leaf or something different like arugula or kale, spinach something different that would have completed the dish better.
For a average or «normal» meal when the wifey doesn’t want to cook your in the clear. However, not the first date type of experience. Unless your in high school maybe :)
