This by far the best burger I have ever eaten! The grilled cheese burger is just so succulent with the cheese just oozing out of every corner and the Carmelized onions just surprising the palette. A little pricey but the food was great.

Other than sushi, there’s literally no entré, just sandwiche and salads. Over priced for the kind of food. Service is polite, but unprofesional. Add 15 for a validated valet parking… However, view is awesome, but if you’re looking for good food and service, try somewhere else.

We had breakfast there because we have to wait for our room for 2 hours. The eggs, home fries and pork sausage were all really good. I just think it’s a little over-priced even it’s a really nice hotel.

The food is good and not as overpriced as you would expect for this type of hotel restaurant. I have been very impressed with the pool side service. They hustle, and if you are hanging out by the pool its great. I also am always impressed with the service at the bar and happy hour is delish. But my last trip here I went to lunch in the formal dinning area and waited 45 minutes for a sandwich on a very empty day. Not sure if this is a permanent reflection on service in the formal dinning area, or was just a mistake. No accommodation was given for the tardiness.

We spent the night after partying on South Beach for a friends 30th birthday. We rented the two bedroom suite(not cheap at all), but the room was outstanding with a full kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very spacious living area with comfortable couches and a nice TV. The hotel itself and it’s grounds, primarily the ocean front pool area are simply breath taking. It’s a beautiful hotel with great staff and service. Unfortunately it seems the pool area and bar seem to be frequented by the snobby, local south beach crowd. Again, the hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Location wise… nothing more you can ask for! You’re on the water an in one of the nicest hotels south beach has to offer. Sad that some people and there attitudes can ruin the vibe of a location. I won’t hold that against the hotel, just expect to encounter some douches.

We went here for a birthday dinner last weekend. The view is absolutely gorgeous and by far the best part of dining here. The drinks are extremely overpriced– $ 16 for a very small and very weak drink is insane, even for South Beach. $ 7 for a small salad of 5 beet quarters, yet fairly delicious, was astronomical in price. We shared the burger and one of the recommended sushi rolls, which were both absolutely delicious, yet also very expensive for what you got. It was a wonderful view, wonderful weather, delicious but very pricey.

We had a very nice anniversary dinner last night at their restaurant(«The Restaurant»), and throughly enjoyed the experience: The food was outstanding, and to be honest, much better what we expected. I consider it a well-kept secret — there is so much buzz about restaurants in Miami Beach who are of much lesser quality! Also the service, especially Louis, was very nice! This should be a ‘destination restaurant’, and not just a place to eat when you are in the hotel!

The décor of the dining room is absolutely gorgeous. It makes me want to move in! :) The food is so fresh and delicious and you can tell that a lot of love goes in to each and every dish. The service is always quick and friendly and the drinks are so yummy. You can’t beat this happy hour in South Beach! $ 5 fancy drinks at 5pm? Perfection! Love it.

Maybe we are new to Miami price. $ 7.00 for a undrinkable day old ice tea. $ 47.00 for 2 appetizers. Expensive and not very good food at all. Not to mention the DJ, music, sound system here really suck. We are definitely too spoiled by Las Vegas casinos.

Not bad for some late night sushi. Oh, and the happy hour is a great deal!

I stayed at the Mondrian over my birthday weekend and ended up here for breakfast one of the mornings. Surprisingly there don’t seem to be other breakfast spots nearby. And I really wanted pancakes… They were fluffy and delicious and came with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Of course, this is a hotel restaurant so it was pricey. It was pretty deserted at 9 am. People don’t get up until 12. That’s what happens when you party hard. I naturally woke up early so hence the 9 am breakfast. Federica is the best. She provided great service and a smile. Plus, she was willing to chat with me about the hotel and weather, etc. I was feeling especially chatty.

I enjoyed the greek salad wrap today for lunch and was very happy with my choice. I visited the property to prepare for my upcoming team meeting at the Mondrian this coming July. I was very impressed with everything about the hotel and the restaurant was not exlcluded.

HORRIBLE. The dining room is cool looking, and the view of Miami across the bay is beautiful. The food and drinks are terrible. We ordered 3 signature drinks — a spicy margarita, a passion fruit something, and a fancy lemonade — because they sounded intriguing, and we unanimous agreed — they were awful. We sent them all back, and ordered a bottle of white wine. The sushi roll appetizers, mini tacos, and chicken lollypops ranged from bland to meh. You can find better eating on sample day at Costco. When the manager asked how everything was, we let him know we weren’t happy, and he suggested a tuna ponzu, which was good, and a sushi roll that was still below average. The steak frites(NY strip) was fine, but certainly nowhere near as good as what you can get elsewhere in SoBe for your $ 40, and the fish was fishy and disgusting. The best part of the meal was the Godiva chocolate cheesecake I brought from Cheesecake Factory. Thank God I brought it, or the whole meal would have been a disaster. When I made the reservation, I asked for a table near the window because we wanted to put up one of those strings of letters that says Happy Birthday, and a couple of balloons. When we arrived(at 8pm on a Saturday night), the restaurant was empty, and the hostess asked us where we wanted to sit. We picked a table in the back corner, and started putting up the decorations. Before we finished, the manager came over to tell us they don’t allow any decorations, and even companies that spend $ 100,000 for events can’t put a little plaque with their name on the table. I’m curious what my fellow Unilocalers think. I told the manager the new boss(the Internet) would decide if this is a good policy. To their credit, the employees were very nice and professional. We felt let down by the policies, and bad food and drinks, not the lack of professionalism you sometimes find in South Beach. Unlike the restaurant, which was dead, the bar was hopping with festive music, and dressed-to-impress visitors. Go to the Mondrian for something at the bar, enjoy the view, and eat somewhere else.
