I came across this place by accident while I was walking on Ocean Drive and am so happy I went-​they had a sign that said some of the items were on sale and that’s what lured me in. They have the most beautiful embroidered tops, tunics and dresses, very feminine and sophisticated, that are definitely one of a kind. They also have other items there too, like bikinis and sandals, but I wasn’t really paying attention to them, and it’s the clothing that I believe they are known for. I think the owner was there too and both she and the sales clerk were nice and helpful, no pressure. I ended up getting a gorgeous silk tunic on sale, and while the regular-​priced items are definitely not cheap, and even the sale items weren’t that cheap either, the quality and design is definitely great. I will go again my next time in Miami, and hopefully they’ll have a sale again too.

BEAUTIFUL clothing! I had 20 minutes to shop on South Beach and I’m so glad I happened to find Taj. This collection of beach/​summer wear is unique and exquisitely crafted– the beading is superb and detailing on each piece shows you they are worth every penny. Makes me wish I had reason to wear these beautiful caftans every day!
The collections are arranged by color scheme and every piece tends to be available in a top/​pants/​caftan option– but only 1 of each is displayed, so you are unlikely to see anyone else with your outfit. My only complaint is their lack of bikini/​accessories options– but perhaps that grows as the temperatures climb. Definitely will stop in each time I am in MIA!

My heart skips a beat when I enter Taj… and proceeds to skip a beat with every glamorous, well crafted caftan and tunic that I see as I browse one by one through their seasonal selections, merchandised by color — each one as beautiful as the next! If I could live my whole life in these caftans, I would. They just exude a level of effortless glam that I adore. Unfortunately, the prices are commensurate with the quality, so these silk beauties are more suited to those who truly live that glam jet-​setting lifestyle on a yacht somewhere or in one of their many homes. One can dream… or you can buy just one per season perhaps and not all as most are in the $ 300 — $ 400+ range. Get it now? The hand beading is exquisite, the colors vibrant and on par with the colors of the season each year (I have been visiting this boutique on every trip to Miami for as long as I can remember), the staff is very friendly & helpful and I they don’t seem to mind us dreamers that come in with their eyes popping out of their heads, as long as you don’t drool on the goods :) lol
ps: they always have fabulous shoes & accessories, too! Their selection used to be larger, but was a bit limited on my last visit. Didn’t stop me from buying a pair of new Mystique sandals that I had not seen anywhere else. Just goes to show that a boutique or the assortment within does not need to be vast, as long as it’s well curated, which is exactly what they have mastered here at Taj. So the next time you need a certified head-​turning ensemble for a beach, pool or yacht party, look no further than this gem of a store.

If you want to look effortlessly chic, this is your go-​to boutique.
My TAJ dress is heavenly. The light-​weight silk caresses your skin and the texture is so supple, it begs to be touched. The detailing around the plunge neckline is absolutely couture.
Sabrina, the designer, clearly has a magical eye for balancing just the right amount of shape, color and sparkle to elevate your beach/​pool/​soirée look into something ethereal.

When I passed this shop on the way to grab some food, I knew I had to return. Boy was I happy I did! The Italianas who rep the store are wonderful saleswomen! One mentioned she worked as a stylist. They catered to us like women who know how cultivate customer relationships. They offered great fashion ideas. And one actually found a dress on sale I just had to have.
The workmanship on these pieces is truly marvelous. Lots of hand-​beaded tops, caftans, dresses, sandals. They include stunning beach cover ups and sexy day and evening wear. And again, it’s all about the beadwork. The details. While prices hover around the $ 300+ range, these items are absolutely worth the pennies.
Upon my next visit to MIA, I will surely pay my ladies a visit over at Taj.

I LOVE this boutique.
This effortlessly sophisticated shop is what my dream summer wardrobe looks like. It’s full of beautiful hand beaded caftans and dresses. And has great sandals all flat, from gladiators to t-​straps and perfectly low key but some have just enough sparkle to dress up a night time look.
The store is owned by a local transplant from Italy Sabrina Crippa. She also designs the TAJ by Sabrina line which is sold along with some of the most popular and feminine boutique labels around.
The staff here is charming and helpful and they fit in perfectly with the store’s casually elegant vibe.
This store is great for finding that perfect dress or cover-​up to wear to all those posh parties from pool decks on rooftops to penthouses with ocean views. And actually the house brand TAJ by Sabrina is sold at all jet set hot spots around the world from St. Tropez to St. Barths but Miami is home to this hotness. ;)
