WARNING! IF YOU DONT WANT TO STARVING TO DEATH. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE FK BOYS! This is my first time review on Unilocal,first time. I’m a Chinese and English is my second language so i don’t like to leave any comments. It’s very troublesome. But I still warn you guys, never ever order from this fking place. I order 20 piece chicken wings at 3am, pay upfront, and I called them they said it takes 2hrs, I was starving and have no choice so I said ok. Then 3 hrs later, no one shows up, I called them again they said another 45mins. After 1hrs, I called them again, they said is on the way, and that was 7:15am, 4 hrs from my order. oh my god. Eventually it turns out, until 8:30 still no a damn thing. I need to check out at 11am and have a flight to catch at 2pm. I spent 5hrs for them. Jesus. And the most shocking thing is, I called them again after 18hrs! And ask for a explanation, they told me they didn’t even open at 7am and told me just get the refund from eat24? WTF ??! They think I need this fking $ 37!!? Dude I can even buy the whole place and change it to a fking public restroom. All I need is a attitude, apologize and a explanation. $ 37?! I can fking throw $ 3700 on your face and let your wife suck me. DONT EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. WARNING

Delivery was very sad. They left out completely the wings I’d ordered, still waiting on credit for that. The ziti was so dry like they didn’t even toss in sauce no sauce ever touched it ever it was so dry. Hamburger pizza eh kinda ok in comparing to other flavors. shout out to rock boy pizza! I’ve been working on South Beach for two years now, and I can’t think of another place to go to for a quick slice of pizza. There fast, efficient, and they always show you love at all times. Be sure to ask for iska & Chris! They’re Jordan and Pippen of pizza of Miami Beach.

Don’t even try to waste your money here. Full of attitudes. So we ordered through the phone for delivery but we ended up comimg to pick it up because they said it was an hour wait. So there was disconnection here and there so the order came out wrong. We were fine with it but then we tried to order a lasagna when we got there and our card did not go through for some reasons, but it’s the same card that we used to pay for the order through the phone so we had to cancel the order. The manager aka the lasagna maker threw the lasagna away and said we just waste $ 20 of his food, but lasagna was around $ 15.00. Full of bs. We called back to get our delivery fee back since we picked up the order instead and they REFUSED, acusing us not having money and try to eat for free. RUDE!!! If you’re cranky to your customers then don’t open for business. Everyone can can have bad day but your customers always your priority. Oh wait, and the food wasn’t even good.

This is my local pizza place, I probably go here at least once a week for a slice. NOT only is the staff friendly, and the location great, but the pizza is almost always perfect.
You would not know it, because they don’t promote this: but their wings are some of the best on the beach.
SIDE NOTE, this is not Gina’s Pizza anymore, these are new owners (over a year ago). The older more critical reviews here on Unilocal seem to be about Gina’s Pizza not Rock Boy Pizza (and yes, those older owners did deserve some criticism)

I got the Popeye’s Spinach pizza and it was AWESOME. It was a combo I never had before but I recommend you try it. They also have zeppolis (Italian fried dough balls with sugar) Nobody sells them. Enjoy and give them a try.

This place is under new management from Gino’s to Gina’s now it’s Rock Boy Pizza! I was surprised to see the beach this packed on Christmas Day and Rock Boy pizza was open! Taking in all the customers! I have to tell you I was not disappointed in their food or service ! Was able to try multiple items in their menu and the freshness, portion and menu selection is definitely there. I started out by ordering some curly fries for my son and they were made just right he pretty much ate the entire plate. Then we ordered their specialty pizza with chicken, tomatoes bacon and ranch, delicious!!! But before trying the pizza I shared a chicken caesar salad and it was so fresh! We had heard this place was good also for their wings and my hunny had to try them. He was not disappointed, the spicy teriyaki wings is a must try if you like spicy n tangy. Also had their lasagna and it was so fresh just the right sauce, meat and mozzarella on top gave it a nice finishing touch. The portion is good for one person if you have a huge appetite but if you get a pizza this portion is shareable. Finally because we did have a sweet tooth and I can’t let go of my love for cannolis I had to try their cannolis we were not disappointed considering this is a pizza place the cannoli was presented beautifully and it tasted that good as well! Let me tell you I rolled myself to the car after eating at Rock Boy never ate so much! Can’t wait to be back!

This place is fantastic for quick bite after a party! I visit this joint every time I am in Miami.

BEST NY styled pizza in Miami, and as it is open late! Street parking is no problem at that time.
Sometimes they even throw in a few garlic rolls, as I carry out a large cheese for $ 8 cash (if i recall). Been here 5+ times, never disappointed. Consistently good, but… have yet to try the wings…
after reading some other reviews I laugh, as my experiences have been soo positive, but I kept it simple. Complex ‘needs’ are oft met with complex problems; this is a pizza joint folks, flour, sauce, cheese.

Inconsistent hours! Don’t bother leaving s club and coming over to Alton! Doors are locked constantly but the open sign is on! Let it die it’s slow death! Used to be ²⁴⁄₇ (they still advertise that) then went to 6 am closing, now it’s 5am according to the idiot that answered the phone 5:15! Apparently the employee sets the hours.

My husband is a huge sports fan, and I am not really into it. The only way he bribes me into watching a game with him is through food and drinks. So, on a Thursday night, for the first game of the NBA finals, we decided to order some pizza from Gina’s to give it a try. We ordered a Large (18″) Barbecue Chicken Pizza for carryout.
When we arrived, the pizza was fresh out of the oven. For a game night, it wasn’t busy at all. The staff was very friendly and made small talk. They even asked if we were excited that school was ending soon. I laughed the loudest as I thought it was hilarious they thought we were still in high school. Thanks, I’m flattered.
We asked for a menu to take home, but awkwardly they said they didn’t have any. We thanked them and went home.
Concerning the food: As soon as I got home, I sat down with my Diet Coke and grabbed a slice and a complimentary garlic roll. The garlic roll was hard and too chewy, as if it was old.
Now, the pizza is not the best I’ve ever had and also not the worst (unfortunately). It was perfectly cooked, and the dough was good. However, the barbecue sauce was not the best quality, it seemed it was from Kraft’s. Also, the cheese seemed to have hints of cheddar instead of just mozzarella (weird). The chicken also was kind of bland.
For the price ($ 26), I was expecting something better. The ingredients should be better quality and fresh. The pizza we had was most definitely not worth the price that we paid. We could have ordered from Domino’s and had a better quality pizza.
Anyway, I don’t think I would make it my go-​to pizzeria. It’s not absolutely terrible, but it’s also not that fresh and delicious. If it was a late night and all other pizza options were closed, then I’d maybe consider ordering from here again.

I used to love this place but little by little it has been deteriorating. I went in for a slice of pizza and they only had some slices outside and i had to wait for a full pie to be done, nah i didn’t wait or the other 3 customers in back of me.
I hope they can improve since this is a good business to go after a good time near the beach!

While waiting for my family’s Taco Rico order something came over me and I decided to grab a slice to go at Gina’s. I live around the corner and pass it daily but had never tried… it always reminds me of tourists stumbling around at 3 am. Or something. But I’m of the mind that often the diviest joints hold pizza bliss. Before renovation (a generous description) my favorite spot home on Flatbush Avenue looked condemned. And had the best pizza. Gina’s deserved a whirl.
I was pleasantly surprised. Shocked really. It was good! Honestly. I enjoyed it more than any others lately. Also, the server and the (very) cute guy cooking the pies were especially friendly. Now, I asked for two slices and was given one enormous slice. Was it two but just uncut? A bit confused about that, but I’ll definitely go back. Think I’ll bring Rock Star baby for lunch and have him try the pasta. Nothing like a 2 year old with a huge appetite and is learning his letters… a Unilocal Elite in the making…

The worst. Food is great management sucks. Ordered a pizza that arrived cold. Veronica the manager was no help. Do yourself a favor. Find another place to get a pizza. I will never order again

For a fast food pizza joint this place does the job. I guess if I order a full pizza to go or dine in it will be different. Will give them another chance later.

The service was quick but the food tasted like cardboard box with an extra layer of grease. This place would be great if it was 2:00am and you had been drinking. The bad thing is my cleint and I had to visit the restroom within 15 minutes of walking out of this place. So buyer beware. I most likely will not be back here again.

I’ve visited the place a couple times and I can’t help but come back for more. Location looks clean and remodeled. Their caprese pizza and shrimp scampi pizza are to die for. I’ve also tried their eggplant parmigiana and their Greek salad which comes in a freshly baked bread bowl. All the food items I’ve tried taste fresh and as flavorful as they look. Plus they’re open ²⁴⁄₇!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered delivery from here and received my salad with a bug crawling around in it. A BUG! I called the restaurant to get my money back and they «took a message». I never got a call back so after waiting an hour and a half I called back and finally got a hold of the manager. Not only was he rude, but he said I had to «keep the bug» and show them to prove it was in my food. Who would have kept the bug!!! Come on! Needless to say I didn’t get my money back. This place not only has BUGS in their food but their customer service is just as disgusting.

2 stars because they deliver 24 hours a day and their large is huge. It also comes with 4 free garlic rolls.
But…
I’m pretty sure the cardboard box tasted better than this pizza. How can a pizza be so flavorless? What happened to you Ginos? You are one of South Beach’s pizza staples. Get it together!

Open ²⁴⁄₇? This place has the worst pizza I’ve ever tasted. They say 20 minutes, and after waiting 45 minutes, I decided to call. I’ve been on hold for 1 hour waiting for a response. NEVER AGAIN … THE WORST PIZZA AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE UNIVERSE.

The pizza is delicious but the place is extremely rundown air conditioned doesn’t work inside tables are falling apart and service is not very good

This review is strictly for value and service. I walk down Alton all the time and couldn’t help not stopping in for their special: 2 Slices & a Fountain Soda for $ 4.50. Most Miami Beach Pizza place with charge you $ 4.50+ for ONE slice (or more), so I was delighted to find something so economical!
I waited a couple minutes for a fresh hot pizza to come out of the oven, the guy asked me how I wanted it cooked and made sure I was happy. He was very nice and pleasant (unlike most Miami Beach «service»). The pizza was decent/​good.
The place is not the prettiest of South Beach, but quite frankly, I’d rather not pay over $ 10 for the same just to eat in a nicer establishment.
The place is centrally located to South Beach. Fast, friendly and great value.

This place is a disgrace to South Beach… even in a strip mall in the middle of nowhere it would be horrible, let alone front and center on Alton Road.
It is just 100% wrong… stale pizza on display, ugly tile floor, dirty ceiling, zero atmosphere, very bright lights and delaminating 1970s prison cafeteria furniture.
I would never have entered this dump, but my 15 year old son needed a snack before the movies.
The pizza sucked, but the biggest joke of all is that it’s called Pizza and Brew but they don’t serve beer!!!

I’d give this place 0 stars if I could.
This place is a disaster. GrubHub said they would deliver my food in 45 minutes. I called them after an hour and the girl couldn’t give me any update. Least helpful person I’ve ever spoken to. I called again after 90 minutes and she told me it would take ANOTHER 45 minutes (so instead of 45, 135 minutes!!!). Are you kidding me? Piss poor customer service.
