Not a bad little joint. Nothing fancy. They have a nice $ 5 medium cheese or pepperoni special on Tuesday and Wednesday’s. I walked past them today and it looks like they may have closed down.

If you’re going for cheap pizza, this is the place. It’s both inexpensive and tastes cheap. Not only did they get our order wrong(adding ham to a pie even after my boyfriend explicitly said«it’s for a vegetarian so no ham please») but the pizza was just plain not good. The crust was inconsistent, one pie’s being super salty and one’s being bland. Both pizzas were not done in the middle so they fell apart, and the toppings almost seemed like an afterthought(i.e. the onions weren’t even warm and every topping fell off instead of acting like a component of the pizza). Bottom line, there are a number of great pizza restaurants in this area and although they are not as cheap as this place, they don’t cheap out either… try those places instead.

Pizza 6 is a new pizza joint in North Beach. They offer traditional Pizzas(Tomatoes, Pepperoni, Cheese) but also some more interesting inventions: a breakfast pizza(with bacon and eggs), «Heidi»(I am sure the little swiss miss would have enjoyed her Tomato sauce, goat cheese and arugula pizza), and«South Pole»(goat cheese and smoked salmon). However my absolute favorite is the namesake PIZZA6: chose any 6 toppings for $ 10.99. Topics include fun items such as anchovies, spinach, squash, roasted peppers, eggplant, arugula, broccoli, and pineapple. Are you feeling adventurous reading that list yet? Have fun creating your custom pizza!
