Yummm! Their vanilla lattes are the best! Thick, rich, always on point and finished with a cute little design on the foam. Ambience is loud, a little hipster and always flooded with yogis, artists and people taking advantage of wifi. Panther has a small selection of pastries and cookies, not a ton of choices like their competitors, but what they do offer is quality. On occasion, I treat myself with an almond croissant. So good! Overall Pros: amazing coffee and unique atmosphere, Con: not the fastest. Panther Coffee baristas take their time to make quality drinks.

Bitter coffee not worth the price. Staff lack enthusiasm and substance. There is not much to offer as far as snacks other than giant nasty looking cookies and some questionable mystery meat pie. I won’t be going back to this place.

I’ve visited Panther Coffee on Purdy Avenue in Miami Beach a number of times. Usually it’s when my car is across the street at Larry’s Service Center for an oil change or some other maintenance work. I love this little coffee shop. I usually do a large cappuccino and a toasted croissant. There’s a large variety of pastries available to suit your fancy if croissants don’t. The staff has always been attentive, cheery, and helpful. These people really do seem like they enjoy their jobs. There’s plenty of seating — whether you need table top space to do some work, or comfy lounge chairs to do some relaxing. They offer complimentary Wi-Fi as well. If you’re a coffee lover, or enjoy a quiet place where you can do some work or have a conversation with a friend(s), then this place won’t fail you… ever.

Panther Coffee has multiple locations in Miami. I tried the location on Miami Beach. The coffee is very good. I actually tried other coffee shops in other cities that brew Panther Coffee and they tasted better. Nevertheless, this location is solid. I love this place! My boyfriend and I have gone to this Panther Coffee location twice. Both times we walked over from his apartment with my dog and sat outside. They have a good amount of outdoor seating in addition to their outdoor seating and are in a great location on the beach which is more residential and a lot of locals hang out around here. Their coffee is VERY strong and brewed with love. Our favorite item at Panther Coffee is their Ham and Cheese Croissants. OMG!!! So good! This place isn’t cheap… For two coffees and two croissants it was over $ 20! But, if you want a local coffee joint with character, it is money well spent.

Consistently great coffee! Panther has this distinctive nutty taste that I love and quickly became our favorite coffee shop when visiting Miami. Croissants are really yummy(both chocolate and regular… yes, I have a croissant addiction) and I think from a local bakery(True Loaf, I believe?). Definitely a place to add to the list when visiting Miami!

There’s nothing my wife and I wouldn’t do for a great coffee. Here at Panther, there are so many options, all of them amazing. We spent 2 days in the north part of south beach and went here 2 times! We are big fans. The coffee here is so smooth and needs minimal sweetener. In addition, the coffee bar has turbinado and simple syrup– a coffee lovers dream. We had the white nitro, cappuccino and cold brews. Definitely worth a visit for a great coffee experience. The only downside about this place is the fact that it’s a bit pricey. Service was excellent and accommodating.

As a self-proclaimed coffee aficionado, Panther Coffee holds it down strong like a double espresso as my #1 coffee joint in Miami! Of their 3 locations, Purdy Ave is my favorite. Their layout is very spacious with their bar being right in the center that avoids you feeling crammed when the lines get long. Normally I stick with a double espresso but just recently I tried their cold brew for the first time which is the best I’ve had thus far. Their cold brew is fermented for 9 hours and have notes of malted chocolate, vanilla and honey which at first didn’t sound delicious to me but ended up being a perfect blend. Usually I would put almond milk in my iced coffee but their cold brew didn’t need it at all! Occasionally I’ll switch it up and order a cappuccino with their lovely art they do. Only because I want to Instagram how fancy my coffee is in the moment. In addition to their coffee I sometimes love to order their chicken empanada’s or Bunnie Cakes. I’m not sure which vendor they use for their empanada’s but they sure are delicious and the best in town. I’ll definitely have to find out next time. As for the bunnie cakes they are from a local vendor that offer either vegan, kosher or gluten-free cupcakes. What better way than to indulge guilt-free and also support the locals whilst sipping a cup of joe?! You the real MVP, Panther! Cheers.

Panther coffee is delicious. I love their lattes! Really cool, quirky, hip atmosphere. Everyone that works this location is super sweet and friendly. They’re very patient with their customers, which is a mark of excellent service! This location has a lot of construction going on around it so just a heads up for the road detours and construction vehicles! There’s a little park down the street that has a safe, clean lot you can pay the meter. Good place to get creative, to study, or to hang with friends.

Came here based on a friend who was turned on to it by another friend. This spot is truly worth it. How it has not blown up more than it already has is pretty amazing. Specifically the nitro iced coffee is a game changer. Looks like a beer, smooth like a beer, carbonated like a beer, but tastes delicious like creamy iced coffee without the calories. Would come here every day if they opened a NY location.

I would give the coffee a 20⁄20 if I could! Never have I tasted a better quality coffee anywhere in Miami, maybe it’s the great customer service or maybe it’s the fact that I’m in south beach but it’s amazing. Great for breakfast or brunch, especially during holidays such as the day before Xmas.

Was originally a big fan of the coffee at the Wynwood location, but couldn’t really handle the long lines, the crowds of hipsters and the fact that it’s slightly larger than a 1 car garage. Discovered this location a few months back and absolutely love it. Coffee is great, really calm atmosphere, and never crowded. The only reason why I took a star off is because the parking is awful, as it is in most places around the beach. The latte art is sometimes interpretive as soon in my photo, fortunately the coffee still tasted great.

I love coming to Panther on the weekends for a nice latte and a chill yet upbeat, hipster place to do some work on my computer. I love that they have almond milk for their coffee. They also have delicious fresh herb — brewed teas. I love the almond milk vanilla latte. They also sometimes have the Bunny Cakes vegan mini-cupcakes which is great, since I’m vegan. I would love to see more vegan options for snacks since I tend to spend multiple hours there working, so it would be nice to have more vegan options to munch on while enjoying a great coffee. It’s definitely a great experience to spend time there and staff is very friendly.

The coffee is extraordinarily strong and the service is very poor at this particular Panther. I know people swear by this place — and I guess it’s a matter of personal taste — but I swear Starbucks is actually better. Maybe it’s because I don’t like very strong, bitter coffee. I guess most people that are diehard coffee fans prefer it. Also, their desserts are not very good and not very fresh at all. We had some chocolate pecan pie(sounds delish, right? Wrong) and it was stale and tasted very processed and boring. I thought the hoopla may be for its great service! Wrong again! A barista made my drink incorrectly as it was 98° F outside and reminded her I wanted the latte cold, but it seemed like she felt like it was my fault for remaking it even though it wasn’t and actually rolled her eyes as though I was inconveniencing her!!! I would recommend Starbucks way more than this but it’s certainly not the worst place I’ve ever had, that’s for sure. Panther Shmanther!

The Rock & Roll lifestyle is supposed to be fueled by drugs. However, I have gotten old and my favorite vice has always been coffee. In South Florida there is no finer dealer to enable my caffeine cravings than Panther Coffee. Panther Coffee takes each step of the coffee process very seriously. From the responsible sourcing of the beans to their thoughtful roasting and the careful brewing of their drinks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the results carry over into unforgettable cups of coffee greatness. I usually go with their Cappuccino which balances the bitter coffee with frothy milk and without the intrusion of the sugary sweetness of so many other varieties. It is the perfect companion to late Miami evenings and hangover recovery mornings. For years Panther had been slinging their coffee to the artists in Miami’s Wynwood district and Panther has grown and developed the same way that neighborhood has exploded. Now Panther coffee is available at local Whole Foods and in some of the most forward thinking restaurants in the area. The community flavor is reciprocated in the baked goods that they serve which come from some of the best local purveyors like Bunnie Cakes. This South Beach outpost of Panther Coffee gets everything right about the coffee and has the added benefit of a more upscale(yet still raw) interior design and a lot more space for indoor seating. Also missing seems to be the never-ending line of the Wynwood location. While the café is somewhat busy the shorter wait allows for more relaxed interactions with the coffee experts and a more enjoyable vibe.

Forget the original Panther, this is THE Panther Coffee! The baristas are so nice. I dig the ambiance too. We grabbed a table at the front — adore the massive windows to let all the light in. I approached the counter expecting to get hurried but I have to say, the barista we encountered was so dang nice. She didn’t rush us at all and talked us through the menu and each question she had. I commented on how nice she was and told her about the not so nice baristas at the original location. She, very nicely, said that this location is much less busy and they aren’t as rushed. I also just think she was hella nice in general. Appreciated her. They have free wifi but it’s shoddy but luckily I had a wifi card; really the only thing that wasn’t awesome here. We relaxed, had great coffee and got some work done. Lovely afternoon spot.

Another Panther Coffee to check off my hit list and just as great as the others. What I love so much about this one is the design. It’s a large shop with big windows so there’s plenty of natural light in the daytime. With the round coffee bar in the middle, you don’t have to worry about long lines jamming up the doorway and instead, can order with ease and have plenty of seating options. I liked the long table with the seats that slide in and out. Not going to lie, I was intimidated at first but then it turned into great fun. The coffee is great, per usual. I usually opt for a cortado or cold brew depending on the time of day. On my last visit, they had a tray of good looking empanadas laying out which were tempting but I had already ate breakfast. Good to know you can grab a snack while you work or hang. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area. It’s the perfect spot for a meeting as there is plenty of seating so you don’t have to worry about too much noise or commotion as can possibly be an issue at the Wynwood location.
