Good acoustics and very nice to have in this area. I’ve been to a Ceu concert here but there is always stuff happening from concerts to beer fests.

Such a great feature of the north beach neighborhood. Always something going on here and usually free. What could be better than hanging out at the beach with food trucks and music. It’s a much lower key and accessible option to south beach events and there’s always parking. Miami beach mayor Phillip Levine has made a tremendous effort to bring attention to this underrated neighborhood of Miami beach. It’s one of my fave beach neighborhoods, the beach is gorgeous here and the diversity of mom and pop independently owned Latin flavor restaurants make this area so unique. During the day grab a coffee at Sazon and hit the beach, walk the boardwalk, or play volleyball. At night get a drink at aromi attend a concert at the bandshell and take a walk in the beach at night. You can’t lose.

The North Shore Bandshell is a much welcomed addition to the City of Miami Beach. Whereas it used to be in decay, in September of 2011, the Band Shell was finally restored with many improvements and inaugurated. It serves as a beautiful beach side outdoor amphitheater, with acoustical plaster, theatrical lighting, and a stage. This is a great place for bands to play, though I am unaware of any local bands playing there at this time. There is, however, a food truck and music fest the fourth Wednesday of every month(I have never attended), so I assume they’d have live bands playing on those days. If you have kids(or if you like children’s movies), the North Shore Bandshell has free movie nights, every Friday at 7 p.m., and free popcorn is included. Most of the movies are G or PG rated, but some are PG-13. You can check the schedule here: . It is a great and inexpensive way to spend some quality family time and enjoy the great outdoors, while breathing in clean air and watching the stars. Don’t hesitate to take a beach stroll afterwards. Parking in the lot across at 72nd is free after 6, so you can’t beat that: free parking, free movie, and free popcorn. There are usually plenty of kids around, so your kids can even make new friends here and play with them prior to the movie. There are plenty of local restaurants around this area as well, if you want to grab a meal after the movie. Speaking of meals, you’re welcomed to bring outside meals and drinks to watch the movie. Some people brought burgers and sodas. You may want to grab a blanket or a hoodie, as the sea breeze can make you feel chilly. I’m not sure if they continue playing movies in the summer and its stifling heat and humidity. If you’re interested in renting the bandshell for an event, that is also something you can do. There is plenty of seating, as you can see from the photos!
