Appetizers were really good! Ordered stir fry noodle entrée that was just ok. Service was friendly.

Looks like the place survived by doing take out and delivery. Food is good. Place is ok just service is not really up to the level of a restaurant. There is one guy taking orders on the phone while hanging in the door. Place was empty and he was not welcoming at all. Got the order wrong and the only other person in there is the delivery guy!

Came here only because my friend claimed he liked the soup. When it came out it actually smelled like armpit. The two stars is only because it ended up tasting okay. The service was sub par and we had to go inside in order to get our order taken. We ordered waters about 4 – 5 times and didn’t receive them until after our food was brought out. My friend(not the one with the armpit soup) almost passed out of dehydration. They also had a very extensive menu and only offered about ¼ of what they advertised on the menu. This false advertisement really killed my day. They did not offer any of the 12 flavors of bubble tea that they displayed on the menu and did not seem to be getting it anytime soon. The only words I really have to describe my experience here is «what the phở?»

Do you feel like having a good noodle soup? This is the place, healthy, tasty, not fancy but always a good choice. Actually there are not many acceptable asian restaurants in south beach. Large portions.

While on vacation i was staying at the Marriott in Dadeland and i came across a Vietnamese place I ate at the Miss Saigon bistro there to my surprise I came to Miami Beach and seen another one that was nice I was a little intimidated to go in there to see if the food tasted the same however when i tell you my taste buds jumped … The food both here and there were amazing i highly recommend this spot

Over priced, and I hate the stuff who was being super rude to my family the other day. This guy has gray hair and short, Asian guy, I don’t know if his part of the family or not. I have been to all 3 of their locations, I used to order from this little cation all the time, even delivery service. Now I go to the coral gables location more since I live here. 3 weeks ago I was in the area with my family I was eating at another place but they don’t have a bathroom so I took my daughter to miss Saigon, 10 mins later my baby wanted to use the bathroom again, but the gay with gray hair was acting like a police dog, asking my husband so many questions and in the end basically told him to fxck off. I was not eating at your place that day, it was not mean I was not your customers yesterday or in the future. I am not going back to this horrible place anymore.

My 4th time visiting this place. Lets just say the rice platter hit the spot every time i went! Only downfall was… I wish the waiter had said sorry to my cousin who got parts of his food spilled on him. I had to take one star off. Shucks. All in all great place to chill and eat!

My husband and I are Vietnamese and love Vietnamese food. We were in Miami only for a few days but wanted to try some comfort food. We picked miss Saigon because it was not so far from ocean drive. When we arrived the lady did not welcome us but the older man was nice. In comparison with all Vietnamese restaurant we have been this one is the most expensive one. The drink menu did not even have a price list, which I think is weird. My husband picked beef phở for $ 12 which was too salty and had not much vegetable(they gave regular basil instead Thai basil). I had rice noodle with grilled pork, spring rolls and 1 shrimp for $ 14.95. It was ok but not authentic. When we paid and started to leave the lady did not even say goodbye. I think to be a good Vietnamese restaurant there must be more improvements. We would definitely not come back for the food nor for the service. Btw a Vietnamese sandwich(banh mi) cost there $ 10, which is way to over priced.

I have always looked for a good Viet place since I moved to Miami. I have found it by coincidence. I am so so so so happy. It tastes awesome and the prices are ok. Customer service is ok. I had to wait like 7 min to get helped since I got in and sat on a table and wait for someone to come out from the kitchen to help me. However, I loved this place and would totally come back.

I’m not sure how this restaurant was written up in the New Times as a gem. They must have a friend at the paper. The food is poor quality and my burn shrimp points to a subpar chef as well. I can’t bring myself to try the phở after a nearly inedible noodle dish. Sorry to be so harsh but needs work to leap beyond drunken beach food.

Boy, am I glad Miss Saigon exists in South Beach! The restaurant is nice and cozy, the service is great, and the phở is delicious. The broth is delicious and the meat is tender. It’s a little pricey for what I’m used to(coming from Northern Virginia where there is phở aplenty), but the portions are a good size and I am willing to pay to get my phở fix! I hope this place stays around for a looong time.

We were in the mood for some Southeast Asian cuisine(duh, since we were all of Southeast Asian descent!) after a night of partying. We checked trusty old Unilocal and decided to head over to Miss Saigon for lunch. At first it was hard to find the place, but then realized the address for the restaurant was part of a bunch of other small shops along the strip. Dumb moment there. The inside was small but clean, and there was also some outdoor seating as well. There are a good variety of different kinds of Vietnamese dishes to try if you are indecisive. While everyone in my party all ordered the phở special, I ordered the rice platter, with grilled pork and a fried egg. The prices seem pretty steep, but as a former New Englander, it seemed about right, and the portions matched the pricing. I enjoyed my platter, the pork was cooked perfectly well, tender and juicy, and I loved the fatty pieces throughout(so bad lol). My cousins enjoyed their phở and cleaned out the bowls. Service was okay, the waiters were friendly, brought ice cold water to the table and took our order in a timely manner, but that was it. They could check up every now and then if need be. It was just us and another guy there eating, so it wasn’t like they were really busy. But what the hey, I filled my belly and I’m happy. This trip to Miami was my first and definitely not my last. And I found a decent place that serves phở and other dishes from my childhood at an okay price. I know where to go when I’m in the area again.

Seems like a good menu, but I can only afford shrimp chips right now. I’ll be back. Vietnamese food is fantastic! The waitstaff are very nice here.

Phở here is great! I always get the phở special, which comes in a generous portion. The soup tastes fresh with the right amount of salt. I love their Vietnamese coffee too! It tastes best poured over a glass of ice. They also serve a variety of bubble teas. The avocado one tastes great but the bubbles were not cooked very well. The entire staff is very friendly, it’s run by a Vietnamese gentleman. A lot of Asian families bringing their kids here to eat(good sign). There’s usually street parking readily available right outside.

Cons: very small restaurant. Not good for big groups of 6+ ppls. Kind of smelly when we walked in. Service is alright. They didn’t refill drinks. Especially on a very hot miami day. Pros: multilingual staff(french, viet, eng). Food was delicious for Vietnamese in Miami.

Definitely recommend this place for some good phở! The Banh Xeo was a little on the greasy side but it was still delicious. Spring rolls were good as well. All the lettuce, mint, bean sprouts, and other raw veggies that would come with the dishes were very fresh! Everyone in our group had the raw beef phở as an entrée because it’s the best one! The beef is thinly sliced so the moment you put it in the hot broth, it cooks it. You can tell the beef is fresh also! The staff is very friendly as well. I love this place!

After a night of drinking, Phở sounds like the best thing on earth ! Even a hot, warm day in Miami, we would still walk four blocks to get a nice hot bowl of Phở to cure that hangover! Yes, you heard right, we walked about 4 blocks in the nice Miami heat just to get more hot food into our system! After walking in the heat, i started to feel very warn out and alls i really wanted to do was sleep. thankfully a nice cold Thai Ice tea def. helped wake me up a bit not to mention, it was pretty perfect Thai Tea, i usually complain at thai restaurants on how overly sweet they usually are, but this one was just Perfect! We had one egg roll each and my vegetarian egg roll was filled with juicy vegetables and all the girls really enjoyed it. I had the Pad Thai vegetable, and though the presentation looked delicious the actual taste was not good. It was way too wet for a pad Thai. and a bit overly sweet too! I wished at that moment i should of ordered phở because they had vegetarian option(which i appreciate) ! at the end of our meal, they were sweet to bring us out 2 donuts dishes for dessert and the warm one was sooo freaking good, that i should of had that for lunch instead! Overall, very attentive staff and super great service!

Good Phở. I ordered the raw beef(which is super thinly sliced meat that cools right before your eyes in the soup) Phở. I add one jalapeño and the sweet/spicy red sauce with the seeds in it. The food was good. I will definitely go back.

Not bad… Three friends and I were in Miami for the weekend and were looking for something cheap and Asian to cleanse our palettes after a few days of eating heavy food. We found Miss Saigon through Unilocal and headed there for dinner. We ordered a shrimp shumai and an order of summer rolls to start. Both were decent, but nothing to write home about. For our entrees, we each ordered a phở rare beef. The broth was overly sweet, like they’d used way too much onion, but it still hit the spot for us. The portions were pretty generous but I think everything was somewhat overpriced. The plate of 5 shrimp shumai was $ 8, the 2 summer rolls cut in half was also $ 8 and each bowl of phở was $ 12. I mean, I guess Vietnamese restaurants are far and few between in Miami beach so if you’re craving it, this is your only choice.
