My GF wanted to grab lunch here on our last day in miami. I have to say this place is squeaky clean. And the staff is very attentive. Grabbed some oysters and the cheeseburger. Not sure what they put in those fries but they tasted like crack! Very juicy and delicious burger as well.

This is a very trendy«casual»(not casual, lol) type bistro eatery inside an ultra chic Miami Beach Hotel. Think all white, luscious palms and ferns everywhere with gold columns. If you want a sexy Miami lunch experience, this is it. I had one of the only decent coffees I’ve had in the United States here too, btw. The food and drinks were all great. I had a ceviche dish and a mahi mahi burger and I think a Margarita(or 2?). Our waiter was super attentive and nice too. I was here for hours catching up with a friend, he checked in on us regularly without interrupting. Definitely recommend.

Are you kidding me? Out of tortillas for over 4 days in Miami? Out of yogurt? Spinach omelette dripping of wet spinach, cold ham on a very untoasted English muffin, it appears this place has gotten sloppy and soggy. Expect way better from both the edition and jean George, last time for me and my family. Rather soho house has an incredible breakfast open to the public. See you never again

We walked in accidentally, people were dressed up big time ! Very nice . We were sited at bar till we get a table, not because there were no tables available but because they did not have enough number of servers . I got filet mignon, it was absefuckinglutely one of the best steaks I ever had. I totally recommend.

The ambiance is exactly what one would hope for in Miami– sleek, contemporary, very well dressed people. Kinda strange bc it was a Friday night, 8ish, and there were like 3 tables occupied. only 2 servers so we had to wait at the bar. Delightful Pinot noir, and simply the freshest, most delicately handled salmon I’ve ever enjoyed. Tasted like the olive oil was pressed that day, so silky and light. The tiny tomatoes were roasted lightly so they burst in my mouth. An ultimately unforgettable and savory experience.

Breakfast is so delicious here– service a little slow but the salmon avocado toast is addictive and everyone is very friendly. We also came for an afternoon snack– charcuterie and cheese plate, pretty good.

I can only speak to the desserts so far at the Market. But there’s plenty to say! The Edition Miami Beach is an elegant and tastefully appointed space that you can’t help but want to relax in. We like to go here for date night just have a couple of drinks and appetizers. yesterday we decided to sit in the lobby bar where we were attended to by two fantastic staff members one I believe is the manager of the Market which just opened and the other is a gentleman who serves both at the matador room as well as the Market. Instead of appetizers we opted to try desserts. we started with the pecan pie and then tried the carrot cake and they were both off the hook absolutely WOW! Highly recommend this spot if you have out-of-town visitors and you want to show them miami beach yet don’t want to deal with the attitude and silliness of South beach hotel bars. Its, also great for a low-key date night or cocktails with friends. I will write an update when we try the rest of the menu at the Market. The menu had great variety and the atmosphere was cool, interesting and inviting.

The market is an impressive restaurant with a unique restaurant/kitchen layout located in the beautiful lobby area of the edition hotel! Gold pillars, white walls, and separated kitchen stations give this place a casual and welcoming yet classy feel. The service is top notch as every employee smiled and greeted me and made sure I felt at home. The food was amazing. We had the pleasure of dining here for lunch and we loved it! We had the jerk chicken sandwich and the turkey sandwich. The bread is crunchy and has a perfect bite and texture to it. The sauce has a little kick of spice added in and the meat was so savory and satisfying. Perfect sandwich and accompanied by a mountain of crispy and not greasy French fries! Valet is $ 15 with validation otherwise it’s $ 25 which is steep for a lunch!

SMH at the bartender trying to say his version of a cartadito was better than the real thing. CHILDPLEASE. I tasted it and nearly spat it out because it was just ridiculously sweet and NOT what I wanted at all. One stars for being funny and giving us a discount on that wack coffee. Another star because this place has ambiance for days. GORGEOUS interiors but boo to that bartender.

Since living around the corner I’ll admit I watched this place go up. There was so much anticipation for this place and I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype. This place is the less formal restaurant in the hotel. It has an open concept which is nice, you walk in to see all the baked good and further in you can see the smoked meats. Came in for an early dinner to avoid the rush. Per the recommendation of our server we tried the pita and hummus appetizer. So creamy, so delicious. For an entrée I did the seared Salmon with corn polenta. The polenta was out of this world! The combination went fantastic! It is on the privet side but portions were generous and the flavor on point. With walking in past the desserts, we could t say no. In an effort to be daring we went with the marshmallow cake. There is a reason it’s a top seller! And the chocolate balls on top should be on everything! It’s an experience to have at least once and I’m sure the views are spectacular during the day!

I came to Market at Edition on a week night and truly enjoyed their spacious and bright yet unpretentious dining experience. The menu spotlights an enticing range of international items, some of which are healthy. I was able to try a few plates of matching caliber including their tuna tartare with avocado, spicy radish, ginger marinade & chili oil which was fresh; their kale salad with Parmesan dressing & mint which was light and refreshing. The entrees were delicious as well. My favorite dishes were the Florida Snapper with Bok choy and ginger dressing and the rigatoni with meatballs. Both dishes are completely different yet full of flavor. For dessert, we treated ourselves to an assortment of all their desserts. The winner without a doubt was the carrot cake with an incredibly light and addicting cream cheese frosting. It’s one of those baked goods you will crave again and again. Market’s food bazaar offered an extraordinary dining experience in a chic setting. From the attentive service provided by our waitress Divian to their inviting menu options and savory cocktails, Market makes a statement in Sobe worth checking out.

I visited Market at the EDITION during Miami Spice. I must say, they have one of the more filling menus from the variety of restaurants listed on the Miami Spice webpage. Going with a group of four or more, gives you the opportunity to pick one of each item and really experience a culinary tour. My group tasted everything on the Miami Spice menu and our favorites… drum roll please Appetizer: the kale salad was by far the favorite of choice. Although personally the tuna tartar was in very close second. Entrée: I’m usually a fish gal, so the Florida grouper with Boy Choy and ginger dressing was a winner. However, I jumped ship and tasted the Rigatoni and Meatballs. Yes, I know what you’re thinking it’s just pasta(can’t really mess that up right?) … This place just did something… oh so heavenly to this pasta plate that I wanted to eat the whole plate and not share! So good! Not sure if it was because of the perfect temperature or the sauce they cooked up. But try it for yourself! Dessert: the sundae with the salted caramel ice cream is great. BUT … The carrot cake will change your life. In fact, we all wanted to order carrot cake to take home. Everyone at the table was having foodgasms with every bite. This place was all in all a great choice and I think I may have to come back multiple times during Miami Spice and forever past that period… for that pasta and carrot cake!

Amazing!!! This guy is a genius. He is doing amazing things here. Jean George is truly a genius. He has made sure everyone knows how to excite his vision even if he is not doing the cooking anymore. Now that’s impressive. All these famous chefs maybe good at what they do but when they open multiple locations they can’t be at everyone of them. This is an example of making sure that your staff know how to make the food you taught them to and will continue to keep it at the same standard long after you have left. The food was amazing as you will see from the pics.

Just because I love this swanky Ian Schrager hotel, I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times. It’s more accessible than Matador Room(which is delicious), in its more casual vibe, with the open kitchen and dessert counter. Mostly, I snack instead of having full blown meals here. Everything I have had has been good, but also not mind blowing. Most recently, I was craving dessert and saw the dessert counter calling to me. There’s a baker who makes the cakes, cookies, pies right in the middle of the counter who also serves you, so she knows what to recommend. We ordered a slice of just baked key lime pie, which a nice crumbly crust topped with whipped cream, sugar crystals, and lime zest. I also had a gooey walnut brownie, which I failed to take a picture of in my excitement, as I’m normally a chocolate dessert person. All in all, recommend, if nothing else but for the ability to hang out at this hotel.

Market at Edition is the unpretentious and family-friendly dining option at the Miami Beach Edition. The space is very open and market-esque. There are various bars throughout the dining area — a raw bar, a dessert bar, a cheese-and-meat bar — along with the normal seating. There’s tons of white marble, much like the lobby of the hotel. Don’t get me wrong, you’re still dining at a Jean-Georges restaurant in a newly-opened hotel on Miami Beach, so be prepared for the associated prices. But the food is outstanding, and the location is easily accessible. After an evening of yummy cocktails at the Broken Shaker, some friends and I walked over to the Edition, and grabbed a table at Market for a late dinner with ease. It seemed crowded, but we didn’t wait long to be seated. We opted to share some plates, and got the tuna tartare, the a meat and cheese plate, the chilled artichoke, the gazpacho, and the roasted chicken entrée. The desserts looked amazing, but we didn’t indulge this time. Everything was great, and we were all quite satisfied at the end of the meal(even after viewing the check!). The tuna tartare had tons of avocado, and a lovely sweet-and-spicy sauce on the plate. We had taleggio, manchego and spicy coppa on our meat-and-cheese plate, and everything was really tasty. The chilled artichoke was pretty underwhelming, but it was very fresh. The gazpacho was topped with some raspberries, which I thought was pretty unique, and the whole iteration was just really tasty. If you’re a gazpacho fan, this is definitely a must-order. The roasted chicken was the real surprise winner though. I never order chicken out, but a friend suggested this, and it was great. The chicken was super juicy, and the skin had a lovely crunch without being greasy. The lemon-basil sauce and veggies — including cauliflower mashed«potatoes» — really added to the package. I’d definitely order this again. Service was friendly, but it was rather hard to track down our server when we needed something(which turned out to be often). Prices are pretty typical — expect $ 12 – 20 for appetizers/sharing items, and $ 25+ for entrees(except for the chicken). Market at Edition is a great no-frills dining option on Miami Beach with gourmet bites at reasonable prices in a chic, modern bistro-style setting. It’s definitely worth checking out!

This restaurants design is interesting. It has an open kitchen and within the restaurant there are different preparation stations surrounded by a counter. They have a dessert section, bar and coffee, raw bar and antipasto station. We had the Prosciutto and Gruyère Pizza and Tuna Tartare. Both dishes were very good. The reason for my score of 3.5 is for the service and dessert. I asked the server which dessert she recommended and suggested the Chocolate Marshmallow Cake. She later came by and told me it would take 5 minutes because they were putting the chocolate ganache in the cake. I didn’t mind the wait thinking it had just been made and must be fresh. When I tasted the cake it was super cold as if it were in the fridge and had been taken out, the ganache was hard so could they have been frosting the cake. I soon realized that she meant the marshmallow topping because that side of the cake was room temperature. The impression of the cake was that of a cake placed in the fridge and then spruced up for serving. The cake was not moist and was bland. Since we were staying at the hotel I decided to give the carrot cake a try which another reviewer had raved about. This cake was a tad better but still bland. Next time I will stick to the food and skip dessert altogether. If you don’t like dessert then you won’t be disappointed.

The food was so disappointing. The atmosphere is lovely, the concept is great, the server was exceptional but the food was terrible. This restaurant has only been open for four months so I must return in 6 months and give them another shot. Note to the kitchen: the chicken was extremely dry and lacked flavor. It tastes reheated. The portion was too small. You should offer a half rather than a quarter roasted chicken, especially if the pieces are going to be so small. The mashed potatoes were over whipped to the point of becoming a liquid glue consistency. They also lacked seasoning. We also ordered the pasta which was undercooked. I like al dente pasta but this pasta was almost crunchy. The tomatoes sauce is way too sweet. The flavor also tastes of the tin from the cans. It needed more time to simmer and mellow on the stove and the recipe needs to be reworked. The veal Milanese tasted as if it was cooked in a deep fryer of French fry oil rather than properly sautéed in olive oil. The breeding completely separated from the veal which happened when you cook the veal right after breaking it rather than allowing it to chill in the fridge for at least 30 min. The dressing in the arugula was non existent.

Recently stayed at the edition and split many menu items throughout the trip at Market, i’ll go over a few. The service was great. Everyone was very very nice and knowledgeable. I asked many questions about different items and our server knew all except for what type of delicious hot pepper was used in the egg sandwich. The chef came around and explained it was a Fresno pepper that was pickled to take away some spice(very spicy, but very good). The only issue I had with service was at the coffee bar. Seemed like a new employee that was trying too hard. One of my favorite menu items which seems to be the most simple was the oatmeal. It was great, and the best oatmeal I have ever had. I know its just oatmeal, but really– it was amazing. The egg sandwich was amazing and the side of breakfast sausage was fresh and I believe they make it in-house(along with just about everything else there). I’m not a huge fan of ceviche, but it was good(my wife loved it). The pizza was good, except If I ordered again– I would ask them to fully cook the whites on the egg that was on top of the pizza. The cheese and charcuterie was spread was great, very fresh meats and cheeses. The servers were smart and knowledgeable and very kind. I would recommend.
