Best falafel in Miami for sure. Closest thing to the origin of these guys in Tel Aviv. Sababa

Here they have an Amazing staff who welcomes me right in and are very helpful with the menu choices. Falafel was my favorite and the food tastes very healthy. It is helping me turn vegetarian. The juices and smoothies are amazing. You can’t get away without having tons of healthy vegetables as the juices all contain some sort of greens which I enjoy. I recommend to the conscious eaters for sure.

Ordering is kind of confusing. But once they explain it, the concept is great, the food is fresh and delicious. Great healthy choice!

I love Maoz and eat there every time I come to the US. As usual, found the closest Maoz to where we stayed. Landed there to grab a salad and binge. Over the years, the taste and quality of this chain has not gone down which is surprising and nice. The staff in this chain were extra nice and gave me extra broccoli for New Years :). For falafel lovers, try going to this place if possible, it is very different and you will love it. PS: the juice range they have is a complete rip off. I don’t drink juice but when I saw the prices, I was kind of shocked

Great value for money! I bought a falafel sandwich and stuffed a sizeable amount of sides into it. It was both delicious and affordable.

I don’t like restaurants because they are usually expensive or unhealthy. This place is healthy and cheap yay! So many fresh vegetables! Fried cauliflower toppings and so much shredded cabbage. Hurray!

I came here on my break with close co-workers during the Miami auto show. The falafel is amazing & so are the fresh juices. We always left feeling full and satisfied. One of the female staff members was friendlier & more helpful than the other. She included a side salad with our meal, where as the other employee didn’t. As a vegetarian, I was very happy with this restaurant.

This was my 1st experience here. The restaurant is a bit small, as most are here in Miami Beach. They were very busy, always a good sign. And they were very quick. I had a falafel sandwich. Literally a pita with falafel balls in it, but then you are directed to the bar where you can add whatever you want! And you have about 7 or 8 sauces to choose from too. I had vegetable salad and tabbouleh and topped it all with tzatziki sauce. This was delicious and filling! I am excited to have found a great vegetarian spot close to home. Definitely recommend :0)

Maoz is the perfect place to stop if you’re looking for a quick vegetarian lunch on South Beach. I first discovered Maoz in the food court of the Boca Town Center when I had a client nearby. I was excited to see one down the street when I started working in SoBe. The main thing to order at Maoz is the falafel, although they do have a few other vegetarian items. I typically get a sandwich, which comes in a wheat or white pita, but have also tried their salads, which are served on a base of either romaine, kale, or spinach or a combination of the three. The falafel is always hot and tastes fresh like it was just cooked. There are premium toppings that you can add to your sandwich or salad; my favorites are definitely hummus, avocado, and feta cheese. Unfortunately, it’s $ 1 each to add these so I have to try to restrain myself to not spend all my money on food(psh who am I kidding?! That’s basically all I spend money on!). The Maoz toppings bar has a wide variety of toppings for your sandwich/salad. Here are a few examples: coleslaw, red cabbage, tomato & onion mixture, roasted broccoli & cauliflower, a variety of spicy sauces, etc. They also have tahini and garlic sauces or just ketchup for your fries. I usually make my meal a combo so I can grab a drink and a side, which is typically Belgian fries. I really love the fries here and they remind me of my vacation in Belgium. I only wish they had that delicious Belgian mayo for dipping! As far as drinks go, the Arnold Palmer and the unsweetened mint and ginger iced tea are very good. Maoz also serves fresh pressed juices which are good but also kind of pricey. I’ve only tried the Orange Smack(carrot, orange, and ginger), but I really enjoyed it. The ginger was just the right amount to be noticed but not overwhelming. They also have a daily soup. I’ve tried the split pea and the carrot ginger soups and both were really delicious. I’ve heard good things about their other soups from friends, so I’m sure they are all good. If you like to just eat soup for lunch, you can get a good quality soup here for a reasonable price. This is definitely a great place to eat but if you’re on a budget look at what things cost before you order them because it’s easy to keep adding items to your order and spend $ 20 on just yourself. This location also has a loyalty program that is tracked with your phone number(not sure if it’s tied to others) so you can get some money off after you spend a certain amount.

This is a small restaurant right off of Lincoln Road. It was delicious. I had a green juice that was spiced with jalapeño that I will definitely get again. I had falafel and salad. Put the falafel on the side so you can have more space to build your salad. Basically everything in the salad bar is vegan, a couple of items being vegetarian which the server was happy to help out and explain. The food tasted really fresh and I like to have a vegan friendly option close to lincoln road.

I was in South Beach for 4 days and discovered this place on the 2nd day. Day 1, my friend and I went there once. Day 2, we went there twice. Day 3, our last day in fl, of course we had to eat there one last time. Im not a vegetarian, but i could eat here every other day. The owner mentioned to me that their deal with theDel Amo Mall in Torrance, CA fell through, which i am so bummed about. I live in hermosa beach, which is a skip and a hop away from this mall. Im crossing my fingers the deal ends up going through! I Maoz 4 life!

This place is absolutely amazing! I have been wanting to try this place for a while, but since there is 0 parki g in this area I always thought I would go another day. So finally we just jumped in the car parked in the Lincold Rd garage and walked three blocks. The place is clean very clean so we were off to a good start. We both got falafel pita with the salad bar in a side container. The sandwich looks deceiving when you first get it. I thought it was small, maybe because it is covered in the wrapping. Wait oh no was I wrong I hardly could finishit he falafel. It is really deceiving in size and they put a lot of falafel. My husband added the meal $ 3.95 which kncluded fries and a drink. Wow freshcut fries youcouldjust taste the quality. This place is also great if you are vegan, or kosher. I am neither but really enjoyed the meal! Hint– park in Lincoln garage$ 1 an hour ended up eating g fairly quickly so we only paid $ 1 to park.

Maoz Made Me «Mappy». Yes, just like a children’s lullaby. And it was not even Monday! You paid $ 8.95 for a bowl of falafel salad and add plenty of options from their salad bar, and Oh, boy what a great deal for South Beach. As suggested by a Unilocal reviewer, I ordered the falafel on the side, so I could fill up the salad bowl to my liking. They also have a large array of yummy sauces, that will make your salad even more scrumptious. My favorite was the cilantro one. I also had a beet juice, that made my intravenous cells and neurons jumped in one leg! It was that good. This location it’s smaller, but really doesn’t matter, because during a busy Saturday’s lunch, the place never really got packed. I just wish Maoz will open a location in North Miami Beach.

I’ve bookmarked this place for years, but I never did get to try it. When my friends and I go to South Beach, eating vegetarian somehow doesn’t get listed in our fun things to do. Also, I supposed part of me is concerned whether a fast food chain from Holland can make a good falafel. Finally I get to try the place. I ordered just a half pita, which comes in a big pita pocket with 3 falafel balls. There’s plenty of space for me to fill it up at the salad bar, with slaw, broccoli, tabouli, red cabbage, olive, chick peas, tomato and more. And to squirt on tahini and tsaziki. I saw some customers stuffed the pocket so much they use fork to eat it. Now, I won’t say this is the best falafel I’ve had. A lot of the local small places do a better salad and falafel, probably because they use better and fresher ingredients. However, this place is still very delicious, very very healthy, and affordable. I see many customers coming in that don’t exactly fit the profile of what I see at other juice bar and salad places. It’s great that Maoz make it easy for everybody to go veg for a meal and enjoying it. I’d love to see the chain expanding so it’s easy to find a vegetarian option everywhere.

«Here They come to save the day!» That means that Mighty Maoz is on the way! Most people seem to think of Maoz as a vegetarian place and of course it is(it’s even right there on the sign). I just think of it as a great fast casual dining option. Maoz was started by Israelis living in Amsterdam. I have no idea how this chain ended up in Florida before most of the rest of the US but I am thankful it is here. Everything they serve is fresh and delicious but their specialty is the falafel. They are little golden orbs of fried chickpea amazingness. I usually get them in the fluffy pita which they let you pack full of veggies. Going down their toppings line is just one great option after another. Faves include the beets, garlic broccoli and the pickled carrots. At the end of the line you finish it off with the fresh sauces. The cilantro sauce goes great with the pita but even better with their fries. If you don’t want all your flavors on top of each other you can ask for a separate container for all your toppings(my preference). The staff is always friendly and accommodating. This Location is right off of Lincoln Road and it is a short walk from The Fillmore. It makes for a perfect spot for quick bite before a show.

They had a booth at a Unilocal event and I was speechless with their falafel, pita bread, hummus and tahini sauce. I had to go back twice, and i wasnt hungry. It was just very good. I arrived a little late to the event and although the food was a little cold already that didn’t deprive it of the great flavor and texture. My bf was with me and tried it as well. He is normally not a fan of vegetarian food and we are already thinking of visiting next weekend after our stop at the beach. Yum!

Maoz is the type of restaurant/fast food that will make you less prejudice towards Vegetarian dining. If I ate this well with every vegetarian meal I had I would have definitely been able to surpass my week and attempts to go full on vegetarian. I love how large the falafel pitas are. It makes it easier to jam pack it will all the fresh veggies and sauces they have on the trays to make your pita that much juicier. I use to work right across from this spot in Lincoln Road, and was always excited to come here during lunch hour. The staff is extremely friendly, and will help you with their ordering style if you are a newbie. The food is so good you’ll forget you’re eating healthy.(Unless you order a side of their amazing truffle fries.) They also make fresh-pressed juices here. The juices are not crazy expensive like other organic juice spots on the beach either. If you’re in the beach area and need a change from your typical sandwich/soup/wrap lunch options. this place is amazing!

Genialissime!
