If ever you need a root canal treatment ask for Dr Kopf, I have had my share of tooth issues over the years so I can compare. Great staff, latest technology for imaging etc and Dr Kopf is just simply amazing. I never felt a thing and he goes right at it not wasting time and before you know it you are out and done. Now I am not going to say I’d like to be here weekly but if you ever need to look for a doctor who treats your root canal or other major dental issues with care and skill, go for this doctor

This is sort of a two part review. My dentist Dr. Plitt, referred me to Dr. Kopf’s office for an urgent root canal. I had an infection and pain that made me want to remove my tooth with freakin pliers. Dr. Plitt’s AWESOME office staff received me super warmly and with so much empathy-my face was twisted. The fabulous Phyllis at Dr. Plitt’s had sent my stuff along. Maritza is Dr. Kopf’s assistant and is crazy cool. Funny and full of good stories while also caring and super professional. Dr. Kopf took care of that sucker(and it was a doozy-I have extra vibrant roots in my tooth-quite like myself) with finesse. I seriously felt like I had a new head after. My follow up visit was also great… his staff is really top notch. I even got a swag bag! I told them that were almost as good as we get in NYC. Transplants and old locals alike-here’s where to get your dental surgery.

After I chipped a tooth, my Dentist did everything possible to save it before putting a crown on it. After that, I was referred to an Oral Surgeon for Endodontics or a «root canal» if the nerve pain persisted. During that time, eating was not a great experience but after waking up in the early morning with a throbbing pain and a partially swollen face, I ended up at Dr. J. Kopf, DDS’s Office in Miami Beach. I had never had a root canal before, but at this point, I was willing to do anything to get rid of that piercing pain under my tooth. Dr. Kopf used some very comfortable mouth guards and performed the root canal explaining each process. Yes, there were needles, drilling and more drilling — but one week later and my tooth feels great and I no longer need to reach for the bottle of Advil to make it through the day. Furthermore, almost 30 days after the initial root canal, my tooth feels great and I can return to eating on that side of my mouth as if it never happened — Thank you Dr. Jay Kopf! Dr. Kopf is located in the Sheridan building on 41st Street in Miami, Beach. Root canals are not covered by many dental insurance policies so before renewing your next policy, you might check to see if its covered.
