Hampton Inn Miami South Beach – 17th Street

Great Location a block off beach. Staff was very helpful. Rooms are small but newly remodeled in keeping with the Art Deco feel. Great Rooftop pool. Walking distance to Lincoln RD Mall with several dining choices.

A wonderful surprise, unlike most of life where the bad surprises outnumber the good 2:1 most times. I booked this hotel through Expedia because of the best price– better than the Hilton Honors direct site price. AND– companion is a breakfast addict. I could live without this meal for… ever. But he was able to get his morning fix. I got my usual coffee IV started with their 24 hour coffee & tea station. Anyway, the room was comfortable & clean and the changed our original room to one with a bathtub pleasantly upon request. The hotel was clean & quiet, and all staff was pleasant & Accommodating. Special shout out to Julio at the front desk. I even heard a woman ask a housekeeper if the pool temperature could be adjusted, and by the time we got to the pool 5 minutes later, the management was there turning up the temperature ! The 4 foot deep pool was sufficient (we weren’t planning any diving!) on the rooftop with comfy chairs and towels for guests. No ocean view, but the beach is a block away and has the Beach Walk for exercise. Nice view of the surrounding hotels, if you can believe it.
Other great aspects of the location are proximity of many restaurants, shops, and, of course, the beach. This hotel gives a discount for beach chair rentals on the beach.
I would definitely recommend this hotel based on price, location, & quality. Wish we were staying longer! Excellent value!

Best hotel experience ever. The staff and incredibly nice and the rooms are super clean.
Never felt more welcomed and at home in a hotel before. The rooftop pool is nice. It isnt heated fyi. They have free coffee and water at all hours of the day which is nice. Fantastic hotel!

Our stay for a few days before and back again after our boat cruise. Newly renovated hotel originally the Claremont, 3 levels, very well kept and clean and staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Rooms are nice, modern style. Free breakfast every morning and coffee, tea and iced water available in the lobby ²⁴⁄₇. Valet parking only ($ 37 per day) there is a little drive way on the side of the building on 17^th street you can pull in for Valet service. Hampton inn is located in the heart of all the action just a few minutes walk to shopping on Lincoln drive (open air shopping and eatery), espanola way (cute street with restaurants, very nice at night) and ocean drive (restaurants and night life). The only CONS I can mention is that they do not have a fridge or microwave in the rooms. Having a baby with us we needed a fridge for milk bottles and medication. But they did have an ice machine so we used a travel cooler. Great place to stay especially with family. Area location was safe and wasn’t too busy or crowded with all the party animals in south beach as they were some in other areas like Ocean drive. Staff was great and we would definitely stay there again if needed.

I’m staying for a few days in Hampton Inn Miami South Beach for business. Hotel is brand new. Small hotel but very nice (3 floors).

Rooms: nice room, great beds; soundproof; rooms are not big, bathroom is great.
Wifi: complimentary.
Staff: very helpful and friendly (Love it)
Price: best quality/​price relation in south beach
Breakfast: Included.
Pool: there’s a very nice pool in the rooftop.
Location: hotel is 1 block from the beach. There are complimentary towels at the beach (ask the front desk). Walking distance from ocean drive.
