Javier damaged my print, and in trying to resolve the issue, was disrespectful, aggressive, and careless. He took no responsibility for a job badly done, and when discussing it, verbatim said: «I have no time for you, come pick it up.» My error was leaving the work when I saw how distracted he was in person: someone who doesn’t care about their customers certainly won’t have integrity or honor in the services they provide. Parting words to him on the phone: «Please don’t talk to me like I’m a dog.»

Javier had always delivered as promised to me. Prices were in line and quality of the work excellent. Will continue to bring them my business.

To say that the owner of Frame Of Mind, is extremely unprofessional is the most kind way of putting his inappropriate behavior, humor and disposition. The first time I went to the store he was rude and irritable to me and the actual artist of the artwork being framed. Then, he was several weeks late on his promised delivery date and didn’t even bother to call me, once I finally spoke to him he was shocked when I asked if he would also install the pieces — excuse me, was that an offensive question??? Ok, so he says he doesn’t have a problem, yes he’ll install the pieces but wait! The day comes and he walks in my place, first thing, yelling at me because I never told him I wanted them installed. I’m so not used to this sort of treatment that I thought he was joking but then I see he’s quite serious because he goes on and on and says «installation is NOT included!» and he walks away. I’m appalled, I wasn’t trying to get something for free so I asked him to leave. No one should be treated this way, he was incredibly unreasonable and I would even say a bit unstable. This is not a person who takes pride in what he does nor does he care about pleasing his customers. People like that don’t deserve the business and no one should be treated so poorly — in their own home! Take your artwork elsewhere

My experience with this shop has been terrible from beginning to end. I dropped off a photo to be framed with a plaque, and what I picked up was unimpressive considering the amount of money that I spend on it and was incorrectly done. I purchased this as a gift to a very important client, and wasn’t able to present it because the plaque that was mounted onto the frame had his name misspelled. (This is after the frame was ready two days later than the owner originally told me it would be and despite the fact that I left with a hard copy print out of exactly what the plaque should say.) I asked him to please order another plaque and AGAIN the plaque was incorrect.
When I called in to make him aware he got upset and my tone. Granted, I was angry, but I was not yelling. He then cut me off and being literally yelling at me telling me that this was «not his problem.» He hung up on me two times and the third time that I called to discuss this, picked up the phone and started with «LISTEN, THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM, I HAVE OTHER THINGS GOING ON.»
Will NEVER use this company again and I urge others to stay away!

This place is a joke. I couldn’t get past the first conversation. It was like talking to a crazy person.

I must agree with another post that the owner was somewhat of a jerk — simply not customer focused. I’ve taken several things there in the past, very expensive but generally good work. My last job for them they messed up several times (nothing major — but resulted in multiple trips), and they demonstrated little ownership or concern for making things right.
I will not be back.

No Frame of Mind! Should have Unilocaled first! Like the other reviewers, we had a terrible experience with place. When we went to pick our artwork up, the owner did not want us to open the package and look at it before we paid and left. We decided to anyway and the piece we asked to be framed floating was pressed against the glass. The owner denied the piece was framed incorrectly. He offered some unsatisfactory solutions at an extra charge that would have looked terrible. Finally, after he was very rude and obnoxious, he offered to put in a matte on the border to float the piece. He still insisted on charging us $ 35 extra for this, even though it was his mistake. Then, when we picked the piece up, we saw that it had been damaged by being pressed against the glass. The owner denied that he damaged the work and insisted that we brought the work to him damaged, even though they never mentioned this before we brought it up. He practically kicked me out of the place and told me not to come in again so I could not take a close look while I was there. When we got the work home, we saw that it was still pressing against the glass and there is debris on the matte. Ugh! We overpaid for unsatisfactory work and both the owner and his employee could not have been more unprofessional, cared less about the quality of their work or the artwork they were framing or have been more rude.

I will start with the negative; this place is expensive. I think a bit over priced for a basic frame shop, and they will try to up sell you on frames and mats.
Okay, now here is why I am a fan and why I continue to come back again and again. They have done excellent work with framing my documents. I know I do not have a long term measure, but after four and a half years, the prints and documents I had framed when I first moved to Florida are in great condition, adn look as good as the day I had them done. I don’t think of this as a small feat with the humidity here.
The work has always been done by the date promised, and I have received a phone call upon the compleation each time letting me know I can pick it up.
I have read the other reviews, and I am concerned recommending this place after the problems other Unilocalers have faced, but I will clearly state that I am happy with the work done here, and I will personally continue to use this as my place to have items framed.

I brought an important piece of art that the owner really helped me select a frame and mat that fit the piece perfectly. The professionalism and care was matched by the great job that they did framing this piece. Highly recommend.
