Five star for service. Food was above average. Great little spot for people watching on ocean drive.

This place is amazing! Great service and amazing food. We just happened upon it and the manager greeted us and offered 20% off and 2 for 1. How can you beat that!

So, sitting here at Caffe Milano, off of Ocean View, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on our meal. I had the egg white omelet and my girl had the veggie sandwich. She describes her sandwich as gooey goodness. I must admit that it’s smell and presentation were wonderful. You’ve seen my omelet and like said, nothing but deliciousness. They were busy, so service was a little behind, but don’t take this as a slight, we are dealing with people and the servers were great. They even stopped us to ensure we for our free drink during happy hour. So, why not the fifth star if everything was so good? There was nothing that completely blowing my mind. That’s it. But all and all, stop by here. It’s a good place for a bt break.

I only had breakfast here. Mushroom and spinach egg white omellet was delicious. Toast has to be ordered separately which makes it overall an overpriced breakfast.
I recommend breakfast at café next door to them at Primetime/​Waldorf

Relative expansive place. Slow service. I paid 22 dollars for a pasta and still hungry after i finished it all. Not recommended for a visit.

Acceptable but not good, Pricy, and i don’t like those Caesar salad.

I’m going to give this place two stars because the server told us that he would give us a 20% discount on our food, and he didn’t in the end! Everything stayed on its original price and the bread sucked! The only reason I give it two stars is because the grilled octopus was alright. I would not go there again!

Horrible service. We waited one hr an a half for food (which was not the best for price) don’t waist your time and money! This place sucks!!! Server was horrible and a liar!

Caffe Milano gets 2 stars from me only because the Server was a nice guys having a bad day (Slow service but nice nonetheless). However, the restaurant wasn’t the best. It was over priced for not so great food. Let me begin with it took a very long time for me and my friend to receive our waters. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all so I was a little confused. It was about 15 min before we received them. Then we ordered our meals which were 1 Cesar Salad and 1 Chicken Salad. It took such a long time before we received the food. Once I received my salad I already thought we should have chosen another restaurant (how can you go wrong with a salad). I should have asked for the dressing on the side because my dressing came with a side of lettuce :(I’ve come to the conclusion that Ocean Dr in Miami has run its course. This place just wasn’t a great experience at all. I spoke with the server at the end (who I only saw in the beginning and in the end) and I just asked a few questions about the service and he seemed like he was just having a bad day. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to see the good day.

While trying to look at the menu we were hassled by the guy at the front. We know its his job but he would not stop talking long enough for us to read a thing on the menu. We asked him nicely to give us a minute but he continued to ramble on. When we got annoyed he offered us 20% off which we thought was a good deal so decided to stay … only to find out that I think that was just the general special they were offering at the time.
Bread was not great (i am a big bread person) and it came with plain old olive oil and vinegar… No dipping spices. For an app we got one of the Flatbreads which was pretty good.
For my meal I got the Rigatoni dish which was good but not great. My husband got Chicken which was actually very good and my brother got Pasta Bolonese which he liked too.
Drink prices were outrageous but I guess that can be expected in that area. Our server was not very friendly. Overall, would most likely not go back here, especially with all the other options around.

We stumbled upon this place after a girls night out when the hostess was desperate for customers and gave us free mimosas and a discount on our meals. We were seated outside (I’m guessing to attract more customers, which we did), with a small fan in the corner that did nothing to keep us cool. They didn’t have many of the items on the menu, resulting in us having to reorder 3x. Everything came out sporadically and we had to constantly remind our waitress about our water and mimosas. The food itself was hardly palatable and service was non-​existent. I would not even consider returning, especially since there are so many other places to choose from nearby.

Food is subpar, overcooked, over flavored and under flavored too, and not fresh. Service is meh at best. Ambiance is one of the nicest on Ocean, this place only saving grace. Want a chill, clean place to grab a drink. This is probably it. Beyond that go elsewhere for food. #epicfail

One of the many places to sit down and eat/​drink/​people watch along Ocean Drive.
My main criteria was finding a spot directly under a fan (it was super hot) so the food was secondary to me.
But as with the other reviews, the food here isn’t great. I ordered the bruschetta which was simply some slightly burnt slices of toasted French baguette and some pretty simple chopped tomato. The limp salad underneath it was pretty grim.
The tagliatelle bolognese was better, but lacked any real flavour or magic.
I also ordered a diet coke but got regular.

This place was absolutely amazing. We ordered a chicken dish off the «Cuban Corner» and a Chicken Parmesan. I’m a picky eater but I really liked the chicken and rice. However, the chicken parm was absolutely amazing. The pasta and sauce were so delicious — the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The chicken was great, not dry or anything. Seriously though, the pasta…
The food was so ridiculously good we decided to stay for dessert. We got a banana crème brûlée and the chocolate lava cake. Both were really good, and my lava cake came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Service can be a little slow, but everyone is incredibly nice and the food was so out of this world that who even cares?

Walking down Ocean there are endless restaurants to choose from but for some reason I ended up here! Not disappointed though. Some of the reviews scared me but I had a good experience.
The food, the drinks, as well as the seating and location were all great. I had the $ 30 paella with the shrimp, chicken and chorizo. So yummyyyy! It was a hugeee plate that I probably could’ve shared but I took home my leftovers. My boyfriend ordered the fish mixed grill $ 55 it had everything on that plate lol –lobster, salmon, mahi mahi, shrimp and calamari. He enjoyed it but suggested more flavor. We also ordered the wings and they were really good. It also came with fries that were great tasting shoe strings. We ordered the ceviche but that was one thing I could’ve lived without $ 16.50. The drinks were $ 25 and massive. Definitely enough to get you feeling right lol.
I left here satisfied and if I lived in Miami I would be coming back definitely. The service I received was also great. Try it!

Nice outdoors sitting but the food is not that great, we ordered Lasagna & Caesars salad with Chicken, not good salad and hard chicken meats
Disappointed

I’m going to give this place two stars for the happy hour only. During happy hour time the drinks are buy one get one free. Which was a good deal for the large drinks that everyone seems to enjoy in south beach. If you must order food, please do not order the pizza. It was horrible! Almost as bad as pizza in Cuba and for those of you that have been to Cuba, you know what I’m talking about.

As you walk at ocean blvd you can’t help but wonder why all restaurants look alike? Well because they are.
The difference is on the music and food choice.
How quick you can get your meal is another way to rate all places in the area.
Caffe Millano got 1* for the staff another star for the main entrée and another one for… well staff again.
Appetizer I selected was a burrata w prosciutto. Well the burrata was there ut they could as well call the prosciutto a version of Spanish Pata Negra.
Not your well trimmed and meticulously thin slice of meat.
The pasta was good, but needed lots of Parmesan cheese to help bring the sauce flavor.
Again, staff was the highlight.

With all the restaurants on this block, you’re bound to take a risk and just hope for the best. Given the menu, the nice look and the great prices, we took the plunge and just went for this one.
There wasn’t any wait and we were seated inside, away from the heavy foot traffic and out of the sticky weather. We ordered and our food came fairly quick and we were all satisfied with our dishes. The pasta was all cooked perfectly, tasted great and was just what we wanted. Of all of them, the spaghetti and clams was the best, but the clams weren’t cleaned the best…
All in all, for a quick cheap meal, this place did the trick. Yes, i’m sure there are much better options, but service was great, food was delicious and was all we wanted — a nice dinner.

Although iconic, Ocean Drive doesn’t necessarily have the best restaurants on the Beach. However, my mom insisted on booking here for my birthday and I was not disappointed! Right across from Lummus Park and with an easy sea breeze, Caffé Milano is ideally situated between the more touristy spots and the local hangouts.
I cannot say it enough — the staff is phenomenal! Extremely attentive, they ensured we had a great experience, even with a party of 12! The portions are big and food is delicious. We ordered pitchers of red and white sangria, and let me tell you, this definitely had the party going! Not only was it delicious but it was very potent.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by Caffé Milano. Great location, great people, great food and drinks!

Es hätte so angenehm sein können: schöné Lage, toller Tag, «wir» seit gestern wieder Weltmeister… Jedoch schien uns ausgerechnet das Caffe Milano der richtige Ort für einen kleinen Lunch. Leider die falsche Wahl. Doch von vorne: Location und Service gut, Essen überdurchschnittlich (was den Cesar-​Salad angeht) bzw. Ok. (Was den Chickenburger unserer Tochter angeht). Hier waren die Pommes Frittes (oder eher Pommes Allumettes) sehr gut, das Fleisch allerdings trocken. Dem Burger fehlte der übliche Ketchup-​Klecks. Ggf. auch die Mayo. Soweit alles im grünen Bereich und für drei Sterne gut. Evt. 3,5. Dann kam jedoch die Rechnung. Bzw. sie kam erst als Kreditkartenbeleg. Über 65 $. Da wir drei Mahlzeiten zu 10,5 $ sowie drei Softdrinks (üblicher Kurs 2 – 3 $) hatten, schien uns der Betrag seltsam. Wie haben dann die Quittung angefordert: das Huhn beim Cesarsalad kostete 3 $ extra. Dazu die Softdrinks je 4,50 $. Nun hab ich eine Ahnung, warum die Getränke auf der Karte zwar angeboten, aber nicht bepreist waren. Also ganz klar eine Touristenfalle, vor der man nur warnen kann.
Ich ertrage lieber schlechtes Essen, als offensichtlich dreist ausgenommen zu werden. Also lieber zweimal überlegen. Wenn hier ständig Tische frei sind, dann hat das seinen Grund!

Scheint eines der besseren Lokale am Ocean Drive zu sein. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Drinks gut gemixt. Am Abend 25 $ für 2 Riesendrinks ist ein guter Preis.
Im Vergleich eher etwas teurer als die Konkurenz
