STAYFARAWAY! we sit down on a quiet friday morning for brunch. there is only one other table seated. 25 minutes later, a waiter comes. Asked for iced coffee and some waters while we decide 20 minutes later we get lukewarm cofee with no ice. 20 minutes later he takes our order 45 minutes later our food comes. i ordered eggs and potatoes and toast(what came out was eggs freezing cold, a weird salad, no potatoes, and cold bread, not toasted, or whole wheat like i had asked my friends fruit platter was pitiful, pale and not ripe– considering i had fruit later that day at Front Porch Café– i was shocked. the waffles were rubbery and looked like they had been out for hours– they were also cold. i started to deter people as they were sitting down– telling them not to bother. Disgusting– Considering there are a thousand nicer places on ocean drive– Dont bother. yuck.

Horrible. Made a huge mistake to pick this place over the many other places on Ocean Drive that were begging for our business this Monday night. Waitress recommended the scallops — were pitiful in size, poorly cooked, and the sauce was way over salted. I couldn’t even eat it: sent it back without eating another bite. There are so many restaurants nearby; pick any of them over this place.

Why am I forced to leave 1 star? Why Can’t I leave 0 ? We sat down. 20 minutes later the waiter had not come to the table. I left the table, found the waiter and placed my order. 45 minutes later our food had not arrived. Found out through another waiter that he had forgotten to place the order. We left the restaurant, without eating(or paying for the two soft drinks)

Awful service. An hour for food to arrive. Pedestrian cooking. Dirty bathroom. Ironically, the waiter even left me an empty pen to sign the credit card slip. Avoid!

The quality of the food reminded me of eating at Chili’s. It wasn’t bad or great either, but more pricier. I thought the décor was a clever use of stuff found at a garage sale. The seats were ridiculous though. The couch benches were too low and uncomfortable. The service was helpful and nice. I ordered the 5 seafood linguine containing mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, and salmon. It was OK, but the seafood was overcooked. I felt like I could make it better. My girlfriend ordered a cheeseburger with apple wood bacon. The size was comparable to Chili’s and so was everything else. Nothing special about it. I wouldn’t bother going here or unless you are staying nearby. The only positive thing about the place is the service.

Calamari was burnt… my friend’s steak was well done when he ordered med rare. Only good thing was carmelized onion on the burger that my other friends ordered. Avg at best. =/

I was so hungry when I got here and could eat a horse, the food was very good though. I had a delicious bowl of mussels in a tasty tomato sauce for starts and a salad with some ceviche on top that was also splendid. The mojito and Caipirinha also hit the spot. Price was steep but breeze and music was worth it

Stopped in here for brunch on our last day in Miami — the setting outside was nice — a jazz singer, plenty of outdoor seating. The heat was wilting us and we were massively hungover so we decided to eat indoors — ugh. The décor looked like a bunch of cheap things from Kmart, service was extremely slow, and the food was horrible. Brunch was not overly expensive, but it wasn’t cheap either — the bill was about $ 40 for 3 people and we didn’t order any alcoholic drinks. I ordered eggs benedict and they didn’t even toast my english muffin, the canadian bacon was tough and rubbery(it seemed cheap quality and not fresh also), and the eggs were a watery mess. After a wonderful few days in Miami this was a big disappointment! Avoid at all costs!

I was there last week on vacation and while the setting was nice, the food was not and the prices were high. The service was poor, I mean why give good service when there is 18% gratuity included. That 18% was also a tip on tax, which is just so cool of them.(sarcasm) So here is the deal, we want to split an app… crab cakes… which were the only good part of our experience. We planned on splitting a cobb salad and she was going to have some shrimp and pasta dish and I was set to have a salmon burger. We were the only table there, and the wait for the food was ridiculous… about 40 minutes for the app to get to the table. At that time we were literally seconds from leaving as we felt like that was just a bit too much. think that it was too taxing for them to get the salad order correct, we said we wanted to cancel the order. now get this, our waitress who barely speaks the language said she asked the chef and he said no, they already made it. I mean who the hell cares what the chef says. I don’t want it anymore, and since it hasn’t arrived, I am not taking it. The shrimp meal comes and it has like 6 shrimp of average size, nothing special and the amount of pasta was very small. It was less than filling and not that tasty. The salmon burger was dry unimpressive. the garnish on the top of the burger were interesting(pineapple and red peppers and some other stuff) but could not even cover the burger. The food took too long to get to the table, the service was terrible, the prices were too high… I will never go there again, even if those crab cakes were good. I suggest that people avoid this place.

I’m glad we tried this restaurant and I recommend it. We only went here because it was next to Hilton where we stayed and we got a $ 50 coupon for attending a timeshare. I was leary of some of these restaurants w/o a review… especially since all the restaurants on Ocean were so empty and I think the food is generally overpriced. However, at Bistro 1410, the mussels marinara and the clam linguini(garlic sauce) were both quite good. The seafood was fresh and the sauces were quite good(marinara was a little thin, but quite good). The field green salad was large enough for 2 and the calamari appetizer was generous and lightly breaded and crispy. I recommend this restaurant, which I think is moderately priced. Dinner was $ 70 for all the dishes + 1 glass of wine. 3.5 stars is probably closer to rating but nevertheless worth trying.
