Really great place! Everything’s pretty cheap — I got a gel manicure for $ 25. The staff is very friendly and I was able to just walk in and be seen right away. And my manicure looks great!

I’ve been going to Metuchen Nail Spa for a few years now. They are very nice and accommodating and my pink & whites last for more than a month. Basically until my nails get too long to deal with. And the pricing is very reasonable. Before, I was paying twice as much for a manicure that lasted half as long.
I’m very happy with the service and quality of work I’ve received at Metuchen Nail.

DO NOT GO HERE. I asked for the technician to remove my acrylics and to do a regular manicure. She got out the plastic tips and jabbed it in between my acrylic tip and my nail bed. She was «successful» with 3 nails. Then she spent the next 30 minutes using a nail drill to file away the acrylic on the other fingers. She kept filing past the acrylic and to the nail bed. Basically this woman declared war with my nails.
The tech’s name is Kim. Everyone else there seemed decent, but I wouldn’t risk going there if I were you. The whole place is falling apart. No one looks like they take regular showers. They have maybe 5 OPI colors, and a whole wall of dried up no-​name brands. I ended up going with a color I didn’t really want because it was the only polish in decent shape.
SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR NAILS! DONT GO HERE!

Always clean and always friendly. They do a great job and really take care of their customers. Wait times on weekends and summer nights can be long so call to make an appt! They are closed on Sundays. Cash tip only but they do take major credit cards for services.

Came here while i was on vacation in NJ by the recommendation of my aunt who goes regularly. I loved the staff they were extremely nice! They have a nice selection of designs and they can do any other design you asked them to even if it is not within the ones they show you. I also though it was cool that they have seperate pricing for high school students. I will definitely be going back here when I am in NJ.

Walking into this salon, I was accosted by a terrible odor — is that cleaning products or the worst nail polish remover ever? I didn’t stay long enough to find out. I found an excuse to leave and exited as quickly as possible, holding my breath the whole time.
My only regret is not telling the management that they should get rid of that smell. But, really, do they not recognize it themselves?
