Sheehan’s Service Station

I called AAA for a dead battery. They sent Sheehan’s. A delightful man called when he arrived, popped open the hood, seconds later my car was running. Tested the battery, said i was all set with this one. Answered all of my questions and was off. No attempts to sell me something I didn’t need.
Very polite. Very professional. I will likely use them for my service needs

had my truck towed through AAA who uses sheehans. called the office to change the address to tow. the truck wasnt even being towed yet. he went off with his big mouth swearing at me and giving me the worst attitude. will never use sheehans again. Guys a douche.

Had a unjust police tow in Winter 2015 while helping my elderly grandparents shovel there yard. Car was parked in front of there house. I did forget to move it back to drive way. I called Methuen PD and told me car was here. I called them and they told me cash only which is against Massachusetts state law for unjust and corrupt towing practices. The guy on the phone also told me if I didn’t get there in 15 minutes I would be charged another 35 dollars for storage. So wait my car was towed at 1045pm and you want me there by midnight to avoid another day of charges. They are in violation of state law as the maximum is 35.00 storage for 24 hours. My grandfather who had emphysema and a heart condition from 3 heart attacks had to take a boost pill as he was trying to get to his car with me to rush and pick up my car before midnight. I had no cash on me and had to rush to the ATM. My grandfather could have died from a heart attack because there thugs insisted they didn’t take anything other than cash. Lucky I didn’t bring them to civil court for breaking massachusetts towing laws. Beware, if you get a police tow they will take advantage of you. The corruption in tow companies unless your AAA sponsored in Massachusetts is rampid. Don’t let these crooks take advantage of you and break the state law by saying they only take cash. This company should be ashamed of themselves and if I lost my grandfather I would have filed a lawsuit against MPD for an unjust tow and above all, incompetency, and against this towing company.
Also when I called them to ask if they put my emergency brake down before they towed my car they couldn’t verify. Why couldn’t they verify, we’ll because they towed it in the snowstorm with it up dragging the back wheels locked up to the tow yard. Unacceptable and my car never felt the same again. If you have a nice car, I highly dought it will be so nice when you get it back, not to mention the guy who I called to confirmed that they towed it with the back wheels locked up if they can’t get into the vehicle, confirmed that it was a common practice at this company. What a joke. I warned you now you make the call. This was my experience and I can only imagine how many other people were in a similar situation as mine. Good thing for Unilocal to let the consumers know what there in for.

Fantastic service. My car battery needed a jump start. I called AAA roadside assistance and boy was Sheehan’s towing quick. The guy was nice and courteous, excellent customer service, he quickly started my car and told me to let it run for five minutes, the whole thing took less than five minutes. I sued them on ⁴⁄₈ and was stuck at school in Andover at 8:30 p.m., they are a lifesaver!

I chose this garage randomly due to its proximity to NH as I needed an inspection. At first I was told it might be a while, but the mechanic came out in 15 minutes. He was very fast and my car was done in no time for only $ 29. I hate going to strange car garages and normally feel out of my depth and wary of the men I encounter, but the men here were perfect gentlemen and were very polite and kind to me. This place isn’t fancy by any means but the guys are cool and it’s inexpensive, and that’s all I care about. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a garage in the Methuen area.

AAA called Sheehan’s when I blew out my tire on 495 (and, yes!!!, it was freaking scary!!!) The guy who came was nice and put my little donut on for me. I picked up my old-​heavy rim and put it in my backseat and he asked «Why’d you go and do that?! I should have done it.» What a gentleman! He was courteous and prompt– a good experience.
One thing though– he told me that you have to look at the tires on the car to see the PSI amount, but I was always taught to look on the inside of the door. I think that I am right on this one.
