CW Price

Now I just moved to the area a few weeks ago and was surprisingly impressed with this store. I was hesitant but liked what I found. Much affordable clothing for men, women and children. Nice little knick-​knacks here and there. Still the outline of A. J Wright but does not come close to the value of A. J Wright (I Loved That Store!). Employees were on floor, available and willing to assist. Signs visible and merchandise easily in reach.
But! Negatives…
Store is Messy, Dirty & Dusty in certain areas. Yes A. J Wright wasn’t the most organized store, let’s be honest every time you came in shoes were Everywhere! But I never seen dust or dirt spills. When walking towards the back it seems a bit eerie as if your walking towards an alley, I found spills on the sports bras and because it’s already 10% off the lowest price they don’t lower it. But that wasn’t my point, I was more suggesting they keep it off the rack altogether. But no, they hang up Everything.
This morning I walked over to the Rite Aid next door and noticed CW placed a banner in front announcing they are closing. But after a little more reading, they’re actually closing the CW Price name and opening new with the name Fallafel… well not exactly spelled like that but close. I don’t know why not just say under new management. Sucks I did not get to take advantage of the store much but since their hosting a new Grand Opening I know the benefits would be better for that day.

In one word… Disgusting. Horrible selection of clothing and home goods. Store was a mess. The prices are so cheap but that’s because everything they offer is junk.

I have never heard of this chain before but I was up for an «adventure» in clothing. There was a lot to pick through and I did find two pieces that would look good on a person of my age. I really don’t think I will go back to have this experience again — too much effort.

AJ Wright moved out & CW Price moved in. If you hadn’t noticed the signs, you might have just thought that they cleaned up. I am happy that the CW Price store is kept much neater than AJ Wright ever was. The fashions are cheaply made clothes that are sold at major discount prices. Examples include sweaters at around $ 9.99 and tops as low as $ 6.99. They do have some name brands I recognized (Southpole) but I’m not sure the brands they have are still «in» if you get my drift.
The costume jewelry matches the demographic of the area. You will find huge gaudy earrings, bracelets & rings. Mmmmm just my style bling bling bling :)
The shoe department is even gaudier and you’d swear they sell only to prostitutes. Now sometimes a girl wants to have a pair of purple faux suede 5″ peep toe pumps, but seriously, you can’t wear them to your day job. Slim pickings for anything in larger sizes.
The back of the store is set up similar to any Marshalls/​TJ Maxx. There you’ll find the lingerie, cookware, picture frames, decorative household items, bedding & rugs.
Overall it was fun to peruse. I personally prefer cheaper fashions because I’ll get sick of the item way before I wear it out. Overall, I’d stop in again, the low prices would be my lure.
