The manager at the store claimed he could help with the problem, but just flat out refused. Based on their earlier overwhelming incompetence, it may not have been possible for him to solve it, but it is beyond any kind of service industry to refuse to solve the problem. Try Verizon.

They open at 9am on Mondays. The listed hours on sprint’s store locator and Unilocal are wrong. Bad omen, sprint. That’s a simple thing to get right.

Although I have sprint service, this store sucks. They will help when nobody is there, but as soon as a guy walks in and says«I’d like to see the new galaxy 15», they blow you off and say they can’t do this and that. There was a retailer on Jeff hwy. that told me how things work. The worst part is when I went to walk out of the right front door and almost went through the glass. I unlocked it from the inside BECAUSEITSHOULDBE!!! Some idiot security guard told me that was HIS store. And as I was walking off with my son he kicked me in the back. I called corporate and they could care less. 100 people in the store and the guy has a front door locked. A wannabe cop that was determined to catch a shoplifter. Unfortunately with a # and a type II magnetic media encoder, people are shoplifting right in front of him. He was just too ignorant to be put in that position. I think they must have gotten so many complaints that they fired the guy. Your friendly wal-mart greeter he was not, just a tyrant with a penchant that had a chip on his shoulder…

I usually go to the Harahan Sprint store but stopped in here because it was on my way. I was so impressed that I asked for the business card from the lady that helped me, Ms. Renetta Carney). Long story short I switched from AT&T to Sprint and came to this store to sell back my Iphone 4. Ms. Carney examined the phone quickly and told me I would get approximately $ 130 credited to my account. I had such a good experience that I came back to sell back/recycle another AT&T phone(LG slider phone with touch screen). I was quite impressed with this store. There is some parking up front and parking in the back. It’s a busy store but I didn’t have to wait very long.

Recently I took a small vacation in Atlanta and while I was there my phone crashed and I had to get it serviced. After the Sprint store in Atlanta got it working again everything was fine except I couldn’t receive text messages. I could send them, I just couldn’t received them. This went on for a week. Sprint in Atlanta told me it was because of a problem with a tower in the area. I get back to New Orleans and I still can’t get texts. It can’t be a tower issue since I’m three states away. I spent an hour on the phone with Sprint trying to get this resolved and they can’t seem to help me since I don’t have a second phone to talk on while we work on the one which is having the problem. So I go to the Sprint store. In 30 minutes a technician managed to patiently listen to my story and the errors my phone was getting as well as what the previous Sprint reps had told me. During that time he was incredibly courteous and understood how frustrated I was. Once I finished describing everything he immediately knew what the problem was and how to fix it. Not a tower issue at all and in 30 seconds he applied a fix using an HTC app and had me up and running. Excellent customer service and technical support. Now to sift through a week’s worth of text messages.

This store is redesigned but unfortunately it doesn’t make it any better. It’s cramped and crowded with people standing everywhere. The service area is no longer separate. When you walk in you’re not quite sure where to go or what to do. I was interested in buying a new phone but the sales clerk only talked to me from behind a podium. Why is this? Is it against the law to physically show me the phones? She actually called me over to the podium instead of coming over to the phone I was looking at. She was extremely rude and nonchalant. I will not be returning to this store or Sprint for that matter.
