. I arrived 30 minutes late and was still allowed to be seated since our canvas were already sketched out. The voucher expired mid-​December but they were able to extend the use of it till the end of December due to overbooking (thankfully).
I was surprised with the small amount of space they had since I was seated in the corner against the wall. Maybe I’m just claustrophobic. They had already arranged the seats for us since we put when we made reservations on the website. so I couldnt do anything about it. It’s pretty much a DIY painting because it’s not exactly a class. My group kind of needed help with the painting and it was hard to get the attention of the workers until the end of the night. Which is fine because everyones’ paintings still came out great. It was overall a fun experience. Thumbs up for BYOB!

I had an awful time getting in touch with this establishment. They never picked up their phone. I made an appointment with them, and they were closed when I got there. Honestly, I was very disappointed and asked for a refund from Living Social – which is who introduced me to the place.
If you really want the experience, go to Corks and Canvas on Magazine. It’s much better and they’re friendly – regardless.

I got a living social gift certificate and made a reservation online to use it– big mistake. I got there at my reserved time and the store was closed. I went to the coffee shop next door and a very helpful worker called the owner for me. She said that classes were not being taught that day– even though i was able to sign up for it– and that she probably tried to contact me– which she definitely did not. The website is very unreliable and misleading. If you are planning on making an appointment i would suggest calling in person.

This was a great evening. A friend and I came here after I bought a living social coupon and had a wonderful time. Perfect way to unwind after a long day. The owner was amazing, the staff helpful, we struck up conversations with other painters and the whole place was full of laughter and just a really good time. We brought cokes and cookies and while I drank my coke we both completely forgot about the cookies haha.
Now my boyfriend is jealous and really wants to go haha. So I’ll be back.

A friend/​co-​worker purchased a bunch of LivingSocial coupons and gifted them out so that a group of 8 of us could spend the evening painting.
Some were certainly more artistically challenged than others (ME) but it was great fun. We shared a few bottles of wine, learned a bit about how to paint, and all left with a piece of art.
The staff is friendly and helpful. They will hold your hand as much, or as little, as you want. As others have mentioned, it’s BYOB, but corkscrews, cups/​glasses, etc are provided. You are also welcome to bring your own food.
It’s a great way to spend an evening out — and actually have something to bring home and share!

I tried this place out because of Living Social, and the experience turned out to be a good one.
Rembrandt is a place where you can paint and enjoy your favorite glass/​cup of beverage, whether it be alcoholic or non-​alcoholic. They supply ice, cups, and corkscrews. You don’t need to be an experienced painter (I went with my cousin who never painted in her life) to be able to paint something!
The process starts with you going to the counter and telling them you want to paint something. You get an apron, pick the painting you want to paint (there are dozens to pick from!) then you give a canvas (with lines to tell you where to paint!). You pick a spot, they give you the paint, then you paint to your heart’s content! Hoorah!
The workers in there were really encouraging and insightful. It was a 2-​hour class (I think it normally is) and I went on a Wednesday, which wasn’t very busy at all. Others painting in there were also very fun and nice :) Overall I like the atmosphere and I will come back! You even get a frequent painter card!
