Popcorn heaven. Was able to try a few flavors before making my final selection. Very satisfied with the service

The sweet and savory choices of buckets upon buckets AND more buckets flavored popcorn are just overwhelming. It’s like the «jelly belly» of gourmet popcorn. They need to franchise Popcorn Bistro at the premium shopping malls in Cali or NYC like yesterday! Boiled Crawfish and the King Cake are my favorite NOLA regional flavors! Classic Chicago Mix of caramel and cheddar hits the spot as well.
Three sizes… you choose. Best part is they don’t weigh it… so if u befriend one of the peeps working there… they may «hook» you up with a little extra sumthin! I’m going to deduct one star simply because there was a small batch of my boiled crawfish that was a bit stale… my suggestion… try a handful of what you like before they scoop out the popcorn what you will be buying! Caution may be habit forming!

This is a cool shop! If your just in the mood for a little popcorn or you need an inexpensive edible gift for someone, this is the place to go! There are so very many different flavor popcorns to choose from, and they will let you sample just to make sure you like what your buying. Their pricing is in three tiers based on the types of popcorn. I’m not 100% on this but I think it’s the butter flavors on the bottom tier then the cheese/​fruity flavors on the second tier and the chocolate flavors on the top tier. The top tier being the most expensive, but honestly their prices are reasonable plus I like that they stuff the bags to the brim. They never skimp on the amount of product they give you. Another thing that’s convenient is that the shop is located inside the mall. I believe if they were in a strip mall they would not have such great hours, but since they are in the mall they are open until mall closing at 9 pm. (Except Sundays of course) The only time I can see the mall location being a problem is if you are in desperate need of popcorn during Mardi Gras. Your flat out of luck then because the mall closes for parades since they are on the parade route. All in all this is a great addition to Lakeside Mall and I hope they stick around for a long time because I love getting popcorn here!

Popcorn popcorn popcorn! What more can you want! A little more flavor maybe? While I do like the popcorn, I do feel that the flavors could be a little bolder. With the numerous flavors that they have, I thought I’d be overwhelmed trying to decide what to take home. The ranch is the only one that had a bold flavor. I do very much like it and get it often. I just wish there were more flavors that were as enjoyable as the ranch.

Dill Pickle all the way! Friendly service, reasonable prices and delicious. You can sample before committing and they mix flavors.

The variety flavors of popcorn are very tasty. The kids love it and the prices are really reasonable.

You can sample all different types of popcorn flavors while you’re browsing around. Ask and you shall receive. Purchasing options include mini, junior, small, medium, and large. There will be displays that show each size. There are also categories of popcorn as well: movie theater butter, caramel corn, cheese, kettle, candy flavors, caramel with nuts, and chocolate flavors. The prices vary with the size and category. The most expensive in the mini category is the chocolate flavors that start at $ 4.95. The large for this will cost you $ 69.95. At the larger sizes, there will be a tin container so that’s why it can get pricey.
The staff here were friendly and willing to assist. I am unsure if this is a year round store though.

Wide variety of unusual popcorn flavors like the Oreo Cheesecake flavor my daughter got. You can sample the flavors and get your popcorn in a variety of sizes. The smallest bag, though is very expensive $ 6 (you could buy a box of microwave popcorn for less). Definitely not something I’d buy again.

I think its a unique cool concept. The flavors are usually spot on. The loaded baked potato, hot boiled crayfish, peanut butter and jelly to name a few taste just like that but in popcorn texture. They dont mind you trying as many flavors as you want. Just be aware when purchasing: chocolate flavors are double the price of cheese flavored, the smallest bag can run about $ 5 or $ 6. The mini option is good if youre not sharing because it goes stale in a few days.
If you know a popcorn lover or want to give a unique gift with personalized flavors, there are tins available to purchase and ship. I would consider overnight shipping for chocolate because it can get messy just in the heat of your hand.
But if youre in the mall, I suggest to stop in and check it out. The workers are always friendly and ready to provide free samples:)

Bacon popcorn? Crawfish boil flavored popcorn?
This place has it all, even classics like Kettle corn and whacky choices like Fruit Loop flavored Popcorn.
The best part is that they let you sample the flavors first, so you’re not stuck with something you’ll later regret. The only problem with this place is that you can’t leave with just 1 flavor. Typically we end up getting 4 – 5 bags and sorting them out when we get home.

If I could marry one inanimate object it would be popcorn. I realllllly like it. A lot. And this happens to be the best popcorn I’ve EVER had. I’ve had pretty much every flavor and have yet to find one that’s awful. Even steak is sooo good and savory. My favorite right now is the peanut butter chocolate, holy buckets! Hot boiled crawfish is the way to go if you’re lazy and don’t want to peel anything.

I have a serious popcorn addiction. I sometimes eat it for dinner (air popped, drizzled with truffle oil or soy butter and nutritional yeast) and while I realize that’s not the most nourishing of meals, it’s also not the most vicey of vices, so I’m OK with fiending for it.
I heard rumors of this gourmet popcorn store at the mall, but because I avoid malls like the plague, I felt like my visit here was not meant to be…
until I realized that the only Apple store is at the damn mall (a necessarily evil when you’re a Macaddict like me). So, now it seems like I’m not going to be dreading the next inevitable issue with my track pad because I can also stop at the glorious Popcorn Bistro.
I don’t know how many flavors they have, but it appears to be more than 100. The entire store is lined with buckets and buckets of the stuff and you can sample anything before diving in headfirst to devour the entire bucket (Ok, so I only fantasized about doing so).
Like kettle corn? They have more than one kind (cinnamon!). Like zany flavors? They have spicy boiled crawfish. Like cheesy corn? There’s an entire menu of it!
I tried four flavors:
Spicy Cajun
Buffalo Wing
King Cake
Mississippi Mud Pie
The Buffalo Wing was the clear winner, as although I’m not one to turn down any kind of popped corn, I like the sweet stuff less than the spicy/​salty/​savory stuff.
I would give them five stars except: holy crap, this is some expensive corn! (Especially if you want the more dessert varieties, by the way). A smallish bag (the «junior») is going to run you between 5.95 and 7.95. You can mix and match, but the higher price applies. I’m willing to pay the price, because that damned Buffalo Wing corn is finger lickin’ good, and I sure as hell can’t really replicate it at home (I have been known to sprinkle Tabasco on my popcorn. Not the same!)

OMG the hot boiled crawfish is the best!!! The carmel one is also just as delish. I can’t wait to get back home to try out more flavors.

Nice concept for this area. Many varieties of popcorn to choose from. I’m not the biggest popcorn fan, but I can always something here to try. Nice place to try if your are stepping oustide the usual popcorn box. For it to be a popcorn store, I never really seem to get that fresh popcorn aroma in the air that most of us are used too.
They have your usual flavor such as Cheese, White Cheddar, Caramel, etc. They also have selections like: Kit Kat, Tiger Bait, Englich Toffee, Snickers, etc. On their website you see the different categoreis they have: Choclate, Caramel, Caramel with nuts, Candy, Kettle, and Cheese flavors.
