They were super nice and very attentive. My nail tech really took her time to make it perfect. I’m very happy with the results: very clean gel refill just how I asked it to be. I’m from out of town, but I would definitely go again. Very affordable, too.

went in for my first time around noon on a weekday and the place was empty so I didn’t have to wait. appearance wise, the salon is very clean and tidy & decorated for the holidays. I liked that the polish colors are painted on a plastic wheel so you can see them without opening the bottles and all at one time. she was very helpful when I was picking out a color & is right on with the trends! the owner Julie did my gel manicure & the younger girl did my pedicure. over a week later they both look perfect. both ladies were super attentive & nice, we talked the whole time. i’ve never been one to maintain my nails via a salon but I will DEFINITELY be back! I’m super happy with my mani and pedi, the fact that it still looks amazing ;)

I went here in hopes of having my first set of nails put on. The girl who did my nails was obviously new but I thought I’d give her a shot anyways. My nails looked like old dinosaur eggs they were so oddly misshaped and lumpy. I had to go that same day somewhere else to get them fixed. And to top it off the owners were so proud that even took pictures. Smh

Found this place on Unilocal and decided to try it. I travel for work and am always having to find new nail salons. Julie was fantastic! She was so meticulous and my nails look great! The price was great too. I will definitely go back.

I came here because it was advertised (in Unilocal) as the #1 spot for a pedicure in Metairie. Really? The pedicure was adequate, but nothing special. The place where I go at home, Pampered Nails, has a much more relaxing atmosphere; here it is pretty institutional, in a not-​wonderful neighborhood. As I said, the pedicure was OK, but not the celestial experience I would expect from the reviews.

Very nice experience here. I got here as soon as they opened and was greeted with friendly faces. I really enjoyed my regular pedicure… And it was a great price. I will definitely be returning here

I had the whole place to myself on a Wednesday at 11 am. Very happy with my pedicure. The only time I have not giggled during an exfoliation of my feet. Very nice and friendly. I’ll be back.

Great manicure! Julie was very thorough about making sure my nails looked perfect. The price was cheaper than I’ve paid at other salons, and it’s a nice and friendly salon. I will definitely be back weekly!

This will be the only place I go to get my nails and toes fixed because Mrs. Juile is a perfectionist! Not only that but this place is super clean! I enjoy the comfortable massage chair as well! I was assisted right away and didn’t have to wait! Highly recommend!

I just left and I have to say for my first experience I have nothing negative to report. I got a gel manicure and my nails look perfect. They were friendly, polite and took me in 30 minutes before closing. The owner stayed late to finish my nails and was very friendly and patient.

Always on point. I love my girl Julie. She’s is amazing and never disappoints. She’s a perfectionist. My nails and pedis are always the best!

I hate to judge a place based on 1 employee but I had an unpleasant experience and I feel the owner/​manager needs to know. First, I had an apptmt at noon. I called to verify they could take me at 12:00 and they said yes. No one started on my pedicure til about 12:40. I sat there with me feet in the water for abt 40 mins. (This has happened to me there before and I walked out. They said yes we can take you and 30 mins later I was forced to leave bc I had an event to go to. So I went without having my nails done :/​I understand they don’t want to turn away business, but if you’re going to have to wait a really long time just let the person know). However, this really didn’t upset me. I understand they take walk-​ins etc.
Like I said, that was not the issue. The girl that did my nails (not the owner Julie) was just sloppy. I had to ask her to do certain things that are pretty basic in a pedicure. My main problem was that she was painting on the skin a lot– and yes you can take it off with nail polish after (which she mostly did) but I have pale skin and the color was dark red so now I have stains from the polish around my toes and my skin looks reddish outside of the toenail.
That being said, I tipped the girl $ 3 on the $ 25 charge. I thought that was just fine considering I really wasn’t happy with how my toes looked. When she handed my card slip to sign, she hovered over me until I signed. Then when I wrote in tip, she very rudely said «ok. Ten percent!» And walked off. NOT OKAY. In addition, I had seen her be sort of rude while she was doing my toes when another customer handed her two dollars as a tip on her way out. Bottom line– be happy you’re getting tipped. I found this very distasteful and entitled.
Sad to say bc I think the owner is really nice and the place is close to my house, but I think I will avoid this place so I don’t encounter this rude girl again.

Very disappointed on this place. I had gel polish on and they left my nails soaking in acetone for like 40 min. My nails were starting to hurt so I started taking the polish off by myself. I was done taking the polish off and still no one was attending me, they would just grab my hand, look at it and say they will come back. I waited for two hours. After that I decided to walk out. When I stood up the lady asked where I was going? I answered that I was leaving because I was unpleased with their service. If I could I would give no stars to this place.

This place wasn’t bad. I was happy with my gel fill and pedicure. Although it took too long and she didn’t shape one of my nails correctly.

Went to City Nails around the corner intitally but they were pa ked. I ended up Unilocaling this place and going to try it out. I’m happy i did because I love my nails and can’t wait to go back to get them done again.
Ms. Julie was so nice and welcoming! You could tell that she really cares about her work. She’s just the sweetest. The nail salon itself is also very clean. Ladies, if you’re anal about nail salon facilities, I’d recommend you come try this one out.
City Nails is a good place, but this one is just as good if not better. The prices are also cheaper and they have quality service.

Definitely will revisit… Julie was awesome and I loved my gel nails. Not sure if it a busy place of business but I am one more client that she can add to her list.

After a devastating nail appointment with another salon, I went here to be rescued. Julie is absolutely amazing! She takes a little longer than expected, but her work is definitely worth it. She is a perfectionist, which you don’t find in a lot of Salons. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommended! Make an appointment.

Wasn’t satisified with the service I recieved at my second appointment. Took over 2.5 hours for a refill and toe polish! My friend got a toe polish by someone else (not Julie) and it was horribly sloppy. She started my toe polish and Julie had to remove what she started and repolish, so sorry for my friend! :/​
Will not be back, especially since the location is out of my way. I have since found a modern nail salon (Head2Toe) that does great work, is in a convenient location, and works efficiently– I went in at 9 without an appointment and was out by 10, perfect!
