Express Auto Sales

I stumbled upon this small dealership while looking for a used car in the $ 4,000-$ 6,000 range. The larger dealerships in New Orleans didn’t seem to have what I was looking for. I saw a car I liked and Tim, one of the salesman, agreed to let me take it for the day for a retainer.
The car was in good shape overall but had lots of small quirks that needed to be fixed (headlight out, keyless entry not working, dash lights out, etc.). I did a decent amount of research on the car, including shelling out the $ 40 for the carfax, and we were able to negotiate what I believed to be a fair price conditioned upon them fixing the various minor issues.
Overall, I’m quite satisfied. My mechanic said the engine has been well taken-​care of. However, one of the problems they agreed to fix was a hanging passenger-​side visor, which I learned is a chronic problem with this particular model. Unfortunately, about a week into owning the car the visor was hanging again. They have promised to replace it for me, and I am waiting to see if that materializes. Assuming it does, I would definitely recommend this place.
Update: Visor never materialized.
