Horrible service, I asked a question and they answered me as if I should have known the answer. Point blank if you like people not caring for you or your food then DONOTGOHERE!

One of the worst shrimp poboys I’ve ever had. This sandwich is Poo! Taste like chemicals. Nasty as fuq, no other way to put it.

It’s open 24⁄7. Just putting that up front for all of you(possibly drunk) looking for food during the witching hours. It’s located inside a gas station towards the back. You walk up to one of two kiosks with touch screens and choose your order… roast beef poboys, thin fried catfish, cheeseburgers, and red beans & rice to name just a few of my favorites… and take the print out slip to the cashier and pay then wait for your number to be called and your hunger to be satiated. It’s not cheap, but it’s not expensive. It’s the price you pay for convenience at your fingertips. The food isn’t the best, and there’s no one item I’d rave about, so I’d normally give it 3 stars, but any place thats open 24⁄7 merits an extra star in my book. Oh! And check out the desserts in the cold case. Nom.

Prices keep going up in this place. And lord… it takes them 32 minutes… I timed them, to get an order of small REd Beans. The Red Beans however are REALLY Good… but they raised the price to about 2.00 and it takes a HALFHOUR to get my order. Their sandwiches are WAY overpriced. I can get a po-boy for a dollar or two more with REAL shrimp or real roastbeef at a sit down rest. But hey… they are always busy here so I guess people pay the price. But the quality of their ingredients are not what they used to be… and they do not stuff those po-boys. Long wait… high price… average Po-boys…clueless staff = one star…

VERY good po boys and mufallatas. We were pleasantly suprised by the great sandwiches! It’s a gas station with a sandwich shop inside. There are tables to eat there or you can take out. You order yourself on the video screens, and it’s super easy.

Ordering a muffaletta is slightly cheaper than getting one from the case & seems to have more meat on it than the premade one.

My husband and I hate paying over $ 10 for a poboy so we make the trip out to Danny and Clyde’s. These guys do the trick for less and throw in a free water. The computer ordering system is a little annoying, but it’s also kinda fun to be able to add gravy etc. to your shrimp poboy if wanted. The facility is pretty clean and the sandwiches are made quickly. Sorry Parkway and Tracey’s, we just ain’t payin.

As with the other Danny and Clydes good poboys when they toast the bread. Specialties are the Ham, Shrimp and some of the best oysters in town. Oyster poboys are loaded with oysters. Now they also have soft shell crab which are excellent when they are fresh.

This is one location of several of Danny & Clyde’s chains that are both gas stations and NOLA food stores offering po boys, muffalettas, hamburgers, and other assorted fare. The po boys are certainly not the best and the seafood is usually much better than the roast beef. They also offer wheat po boy bread and offer some optional muffeletta choices like turkey and seafood. They have some changing daily specials so you can get a very cheap po boy and it will be difficult to find a seafood po boy as cheap as one of their specials. The other great draw of this place is that it is open 24⁄7. They have a nice little self-service computer terminal with a touch screen where you get to put your order in so that any mistakes can be avoided. This really isn’t an enjoyable atmosphere to sit and eat but they do have some tables available.

Oh, Danny & Clydes. You are about the only place I can think of in which a po boy, potato salad, and cheese fries can be achieved 24 hours a day. Though your po boys are a far cry from the best in the world, they are still delicious, and miles above most gas station fare. You also have a vibrant display of Zapps potato chips right near the sandwich station. Gets me almost every time. I love you.

Danny & Clyde’s is not just a convenience store attached to a gas station. It’s also a great place to get a poboy, and because they are open and serving 24/7, this means I can get a poboy at 3am. God bless D&C. As for the quality of the poboys, they may not be the best but they are damn good. And if you order any large you get a free bottled water.
