Okay, so it’s not my favorite snoball place, but it’s definitely not the worst. It has a drive thru that I utilize, which is very convenient if the line isn’t too long. They have a large list of flavors(including clear and sugar free), toppings, and small snack items. I usually get the clear strawberry with condensed milk. The condensed milk was pretty much globbed on top. That is a compliment from me, by the way. I’m a sucker for some condensed milk that many places seem to skimp on. I would suggest if you don’t like a crazy amount of the stuff, then ask for them to go light! The ice consistency leaves much to be desired. It’s very mushy and pasty with almost no definable texture, almost as if you left a good snoball out in the sun for a while before eating it. Not the best, but definitely not bad.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. It took forever and we were the only ones there. The snowball was terrible. Sickly sweet and the ice was chunky. Over priced and she picked up our spoons and straws by the part that goes in your mouth after scratching her head and digging in her ear with her finger. When I asked for new spoons and straws, she told me she already gave me some. If this was the only snowball stand on the planet, I would never have another snowball again.

Severely over charged for 2 sno-balls & my order was wrong. $ 8 for an 8oz with gummy bears and a 20oz with condensed milk? Puh-lease. My 20oz was supposed to be stuffed but I didn’t know it wasn’t stuffed until after digging in! Booooooo

Absolutely wonder service here. Any flavor can be made sugar free, that is so fantastic. The young lady who served us was so helpful and knowledgeable about the flavors. She even knew what the dill pickled tastes like(my husband still tried it anyways, she was spot on it tastes like relish). She also made sure we didn’t over spend on nachos being vegetarian she steered us in the right direction. I recommend this place to any one!

Great flavors… great prices! This stand serves up the best of the best and they do it with a smile! I’m old-fashioned so I mostly have my standard flavors like Cherry, Spearmint, Bubble Gum… that take me back to my youth! But with ALL the flavors they have, it would be very hard not to find what you’re hankerin’ for!

Another snowball stand that I have visited in the last few days that aren’t one of my two normal places. I wasn’t too impressed. Like I said in another review, I’ve had worse snowballs, but I’ve also had better snowballs. This one ranks closer to the bottom. I had the wild cherry and my wife had the chocolate covered cherry. My wife said that the ice in hers was pasty, she didn’t like the texture at all. In mine, the flavor tasted ok, but I found a LOT of white ice towards the middle and bottom of mine. I prefer a lot of juice(as I have stated before) and this one was seriously lacking. I had to mix my snowball around to get juice on all the ice. That shouldn’t be the case. I’ve been to snowball stands where, when you get the jumbo size, they poke holes in the ice with a straw before pouring the juice so that the juice can get to all of the ice towards the bottom. It’s an excellent practice. Another practice that I’ve seen and liked is when they fill the cup halfway with ice, add juice, then fill up the rest of the cup with ice, and juice some more. Clearly, neither of these methods are put into practice here. It’s convenient to have the drive thru, it moved at a decent pace, but I probably won’t be back for a snowball, due to the quality of the product. I may go and try the Cheetos pie, but that’s it.

The man that was working there when we came was great! From the get go. He allowed us to try many flavors til we found something we liked and with a smile on his face. I loved the flavor I ended up choosing, key lime pie cream. I think anything with cream in it is divine! Next time I’ll try stuffed with condensed for sure!

I love this place! I always sneak out of school(aveda) for a little and come here to get snow balls cus it’s so close by. I always get piña colada stuffed AND condensed. Can’t beat that, so delicious. Then I also love their hot dogs and nachos as well too! My go to snack place, although when we come back to school, we always get caught or in trouble. Lol that’s how you know you love their goodies!!! To the point you’d get in trouble for it haha :-)

I really like this little place. It is right near Lafrieniere Park and I must say, I am pretty impressed with the huge variety of flavors. In addition to that, they have this thing called«extreme» flavors of snowballs and they are made with fresh fruit. you know, to keep that snowball all healthy!!! The extreme snowballs are available in regular and sugar free. I opted for regular because since it has fresh fruit, that is almost like a diet food in and of itself, so I don’t want to shock my diva body into thinking I’ve lost my mind completely. Anyway, all joking aside, this place really is a great little snowball/ice cream place. The ice is super soft and not all rough and chunky., just melts nicely in your mouth. Great summer treat after I do some walking at the park.

The chocolate covered cherry was yum. Ice was really smooth(very important). We did wait a long time at the drive thru on a Saturday afternoon.

Chilly’s has a pretty good location on Veterans Blvd.(next to Paretti Mazda) that subjects it to tons of drive by traffic. Probably the best feature of this snowball stand is that they have a drive thru. Therefore, you can pull right in, get your snowball fix and head right back down the road. For me, Chilly’s is more of a shaved ice than your prototypical snowball. The ice is very coarse and crunchy to the taste. I’m not a huge fan of snowballs that I have to «sink my teeth into», as I prefer the velvety smooth ice; but this is just a personal preference. If you are a shaved ice kinda guy or girl, then you’ll like this place a lot. We opted for a cantaloupe snowball, as this is a pretty light and refreshing summertime flavor. If I’m not mistaken, I think the syrup bottles were labeled Sno-Wizard, so perhaps they are outsourcing their syrup instead of making it from scratch. Whatever… the cantaloupe was flavorful but not overpowering and I would definitely recommend it. Chilly’s also serves ice cream, hot dogs and nachos, but I don’t foresee trying anything other than a snowball here.
