I usually really enjoy places like this… a casual locally-​owned deli that serves mainly sandwiches and burgers. Also on the menu are gyros, ice cream, and snoballs. I think their sandwiches are just average. Nothing that stands out from all the other places to grab a sandwich. The lunch plates served here are all fried and lacking in flavor (skip!).
Their burgers, though, are quite delicious. The Rodeo Burger is very satisfying (½ lb burger with cheese, bbq sauce, and onion rings). The Caribbean Burger is #1 on my list of must-​haves on the menu (½ lb burger topped with banana peppers, pepper jack cheese, and sweet mango habanero sauce).
Would I keep coming back here for anything other than the burgers? Probably not. Like I said, the burgers are the stars here. Everything else that I have tried falls way short of the food standards in NOLA.
