Ever since stumbling upon this place through Instagram, I couldn’t wait to have my wedding hair done by this salon. Even though we were 10 minutes late, they were very accommodating. This will be my go to salon when visiting New Orleans. I consider them to be the best in the updo business.

My hair was tangly and not curled at all 1 hour after my style here. I asked my stylist for curled hair and told her my hair fell easily. Still she placed large curls instead of tighter curls that could fall. My friends got blow outs with curls and they were only ok. With so many blow out options within walking of this location, I’d try somewhere else.

So glad we found this place. We arrived 25 minutes past our appointment time, which puts them past closing time, but they were very pleasant and took care of us. They did a fabulous job. Place is super cute and clean. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and friendly staff. I have been here a few times to get hair and make up done for a shoot or special occasions. It’s a great place that makes me feel beautiful every time I walk out the door! Certainly left me feeling ‘blown away’ LOVE it!

Came here for a blow-​out before a wedding. The atmosphere was really nice. I did mention that my hair doesn’t hold a curl very well (though usually when done by a professional it does) and it was an exceptionally humid New Orleans day (but that usually makes my hair wavier, not straighter). At any rate, I got a wavy blow-​out from 10 – 11 am and by the wedding at 1 pm my hair was stick straight. I wish they’d used heavier products or curl with a wand instead of a curling iron. It seemed like a bit of a waste of money since the results didn’t even last 2 hours. My friend’s hair came out a little better, and I was amazed that her hair was done way sooner than mine despite the fact that she has about twice as much hair, so maybe it was partially due to the stylist.
I haven’t had a keratin treatment in a few years, so am considering giving Bleu another try for that. I’ll update this if I do.

These girls are fast AND efficient! Your blow out is scheduled for 45 minutes, and they make sure you’re in and out. This is perfect for when you’re in the crunch time after work but before an event. The place is clean and super cute. The complimentary champagne doesn’t hurt, either! You may have some trouble finding it, but just keep driving to the back of the shopping plaza.

I will spend serious money on my hair. My friends make fun of me for how much I budget for my follicles.
I went into Bleu on a whim when I needed a blowout for a wedding I was attending. I am remiss to cheat on my stylist, so I felt odd going elsewhere. I was curious about this whole blow dry bar thing though and decided to try it out.
I actually really, really enjoyed it. So much that I am going to come back and use this place when I need any «quick» services.
The hairstylist was friendly, as was everyone in the salon. I was offered a cocktail and then had my hair done beautifully in record time. Since I’ve cut my hair shorter, it’s been hard for me to figure out a good style. My stylist made great recommendations and was honest with me when I showed her the picture of what I was thinking I wanted — no honey, this thing I’m about to do for your hair is better. And it was!
Also had some terrific conversation with the gals around me while we watched trashy reality television.

I have been a fan of Bleu since day one — been wanting to write a review for a LONG time.
Having been to Bleu easily 58 times, I cannot think of anything short of: INCREDIBLE. From a quick blow out, to an up do or makeup application — their motto, no colors or cuts, just fab blowouts is so true!
I frequent Rachel and Yoly often but have had the pleasure of having my hair done by every girl working there and each time, always pleased. From being welcomed, offered a snack and drink (or champs) to the washing enjoyment and blowout itself, these girls are so warm and hilarious to be around. The TVs are great to have too .
I’m a fan of their Keratin Express treatments too — I do them once every three months to keep my hair smooth and tamed… soon, I’m looking forward to trying the great lengths extensions too.
Using Living Proof products, your hair will always be healthy and happy. I now use them at home too! All in all, I love Bleu. Emily has outdone herself and raised this «baby» right!

I have been meaning to write a review for Bleu since my first time there about a month ago, but I’ve been too busy getting blow outs! I had my fourth visit today and every appointment has been fantastic. The staff, the atmosphere and the results are all so great. As a new mom, having washed and styled hair makes me feel like a new person! Not to mention — relaxing with complimentary snacks, E! on the TV and my very own iPad, it’s the best $ 35 I spend. Thanks, Bleu!

Even though getting your hair blown out here costs $ 5 less than a haircut at my last place, I really like the atmosphere here.
You sign up online with the mind-​body client and decide what hairstyle you want. They use Living Proof shampoo and some products — which I really love those products. My blow out was so excellent that they took a photo and shared it on their social media. It was also done so well that my hair still looked good the next day.
They also have updos and dry style. This is a fabulous place to get your hair done for a ball or a wedding.
One thing that was weird… I showed the stylist my Unilocal check in offer — one glass of bubbly — and she thought I was super weird. #awkward.

This weekend was my first time going to a blow dry bar. This place is really cute and Holly did a great job with my hair. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted for the wedding I was attending, but she kept asking for my opinion so that I was happy and it would be the look I wanted. I would definitely go there again.

I really enjoyed my visit to Bleu today. The team was hospitable and even accommodated my last minute request for an appointment. They offer free drinks and a snack bar to enjoy during your blow dry as well as iPads to read and shop. It was a great moment in time for me.
And, most importantly, I’m very pleased with my hair — it’s lovely!

Bleu is my all time favorite place to relax! The customer service is OUTSTANDING! The owner is ALWAYS there making sure the clients are being taken care of, and she needs not to worry because her staff is top notch! I ALWAYS have a wonderful experience here, and I highly recommend Bleu for all your hair style needs!

I really enjoy coming here. The staff is super friendly and the owner is always there which is refreshing and nice to see. I have had 4 blow outs in the past month or so and have loved each of them. They carry living proof products and Moroccan oil. It’s super easy to schedule an appointment. It’s relaxing, fun, and the place is adorably decorated.

In town for work and was thrown into attending a formal event during Mardi Gras. Was able to secure a same day appointment for an updo and it was great. I showed a couple of photos of what I had in mind and presto-​chango, it was done! AND it lasted for the entire second day. Affordable and quick, would recommend to anyone.

Courteous, attentive staff and owner. Strives to put customers at ease while offering great service. Will return!

1. Just to clarify, you definitely handed me two hand mirrors. However this was long before Jessica finished my hair. When I requested the hand mirrors it was just after the blow dry to determine if Jessica was getting the flat irons close enough to my roots to get my hair straight — she wasn’t. That’s why we ended up deciding to curl it. It was later that she pretended to finish my hair leaving me with frizz – no hand mirror to reveal.
2. I told you exactly how you could satisfy me – apologize and have someone correct my hair. You offered neither. Told me to sit, wait and MAYBE one of your stylist would get to me.
3. Hope you let your clients know the reason I left Bleu — I was disappointed in Jessica’s service and felt your customer service skills severely lacking. Not that it was any of their business. But that you discussed it with them clearly highlights your lack of professionalism. Britton G was right about you and Bleu…

Dry Bar Bleu is truly amazeballs! What other place can you go to get an awesome blow out while sipping on champaign and hangout with your girlfriends?! No where! The bar tenders aka stylist are all extremely talented and can make the straightest hair curl with their styling tools and living proof products! The owner, Emily, is truly the hostess with the mostess and goes above an beyond to accommodate everybody even people who show up 20 minutes late offering them a dry style! You should go check it out for yourself. You’ll instantly be addicted!

I absolutely love this place! I am a regular at Pure Barre and found about the opening there. I wanted to join them for the grand opening but I had a prior engagement.
Anyway, I’ve been here twice and will definitely be returning again and again. They are familiar with the needs for my hair. I love the décor and find it to be a very classy establishment filled with friendly professionals. Emily is terrific and has always been attentive and friendly.
The prices are extremely reasonable and I can enjoy champagne while getting my hair done? This is awesome!

This place is definitely THE place to go for a quick shampoo and style or a fancy updo! Their customer service is phenomenal! Upon entering the salon, the employees instantly greet you with a smile and offer you a variety of drink options! There are also always snacks and tons of candy to munch on! The details in the place is insane. The employees treat you like royalty the whole time you’re there and not to mention, make your hair look gorgeous! The owner treats you like you’re one of her girlfriends, and just makes the entire process so pleasant. Just being in Dry Bar Bleu instantly makes me feel happier because of the clean, crisp, modern interior. I will definitely recommend all of my friends to come here! Love it!
