The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I’m nine months into my lease and I can’t really complain. Sure, the guy driving the Escalade deals drugs out of his apartment and the lesbians across the way have had the Mesquite police called on them several times by yours truly for domestic issues that interrupted my REM cycles, but I don’t think that’s the apartment complex’s fault. Now, there is a two star deduction for the lack of reserved parking spots, and the fact that I have to call them out to fix my air conditioner and my sink disposal every two weeks. And also because the girl in the leasing office did once ask me if it was the sink disposal in the bathroom or the kitchen. This actually happened, folks. As to the person who complained because they were in the hospital when rent was due, as Judge Judy would say, «if your story doesn’t sound true, it isn’t.» So take your fish somewhere else and let it stink. The leasing office owes you nothing just because you were in the hospital. Sorry you fell upon misfortune but that’s not relevant to the legally binding contract you signed when you weren’t in the hospital. Anyway, just my two cents, but so far these have been pretty decent apartments. Oh one last thing, my car has been dinged and scraped twice in the parking lot, so if you don’t want your I’m-sure-this-was-bought-with-clean-money-in-a-$ 700-apartment-Mercedes scraped up, move elsewhere.

At first glance, this place is wonderful. Cheap, renovated and the staff seem really nice. But it goes downhill very quickly. I would recommend that anyone looking for an apartment just go to the lane across the street for your sanity. When we first moved in, the light fixtures had ripped out of the ceilings and were shattered on the floor if that tells you anything about the maintenance of the place. Park your car in the same spot for two days? Expect a towing notice. We lived two doors down from drug dealers that consistently had traffic in and out of their apartment at all hours of the night, and the walls are paper thin. It all really started when I was hospitalized. I was unable to pay rent until the 15th. Any flexibility after communicating with the office? Nope! They will file court papers on day 8. I can appreciate policy though, and let that one slide. Still making payments on a payday loan because of their lack of flexibility. They then had an issue the next month while they were changing management that their website was down to make payments. I did not realize this until the 1st, but their office was closed for three whole days. So i went in to make a payment on the 4th and of course, they are unable to waive the late fees. Even though I was unable to pay because of their negligence and crappy office hours! «If we did that for you, we would have to do it for everyone else.» — Manager. Well, maybe you should, because it’s YOURFAULT. I’ve heard that same excuse multiple times while trying to work with these people. Communication is just terrible. Reaching a manger is a two week affair of leaving messages, voice mails and notes. They just do not care at all, regardless of the urgency of the call. The straw that really broke the camels back was the recent mini-reno. They painted(terribly) and replaced all of the front doors. I am on the last stretch of my rent and currently living in another apartment so I was not home when the front doors were changed out. We returned to the home to find that our wine bottle full of money had been smashed and hidden in the trash. That was about $ 100 lost. Someone also pulled out all the drawers of my jewelry box and scattered everything on the floor, no sign yet of whether anything was taken. Luckily it was only costume jewelry that I had left behind. I have tried to call the office about the theft to see if an employee was with the contractors while they changed the doors but have had no luck reaching them. The place management, if I don’t see an extra $ 100 on my deposit return to make up for the stolen cash I will be pursuing this with the BBB and will leave a storm of reviews the likes of which you have never seen. I hope to hear from you soon, I’m pretty sure I won’t though.
