These guys came out and did exactly what I wanted for my driveway, they were extremely professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them to anyone. several of my neighbors have commented on how much they like my new carport and how nice it looks. It does the job that I wanted it to do. They even took care when having to place it next to an existing 9ft fence.

Long story short, I would not recommend this business to ANYONE.
Our experience with Metro Patio began with sales manager (and apparently owner) Jack Gains coming out to do an estimate. We had just recently turned our garage into a small room and needed something to park our 2 small Honda Civics underneath. We were concerned about the car port fitting the drive way because we have another patio cover that covers our back porch very close by. Jack said the car port would fit despite the other patio and that this would be «no problem». He also claimed that both of our cars would be able to be parked comfortably and easily under the car port. We unfortunately decided to trust Jack. Jack said that he was going to have «one of his best workers» come out and install the carport. I headed off to work the morning Metro Patio was to install the new carport and when I returned home I instantly knew we had made a mistake. Because of the porch cover that is positioned close to the right side of the drive way, the car port cover had to be staggered over the the far left side. This left a VERY small amount to park the cars in the drive way as we had feared. The carport had to be moved so far to the left that support posts stood about half way into the right side of the driveway. This made it VERY hard to park both cars under the patio. We told Metro Patio our problem and the said they would be happy to lay down some concrete stones to extend the driveway on the right side. This did not fix the problem, it actually made it far worse. The stones sunk into the ground with the weight of the car and weather which caused a drainage problem in the driveway that made the posts on the left side to rise up, making the carport uneven. This caused a drainage problem with the carport cover as well. Because it was now uneven the gutters did not drain properly causing a waterfall like effect at the end of the carport. Finally, we had enough. We called Jack out and explained to him that we were not happy with his product as it had never worked properly from the start. He basically told us that it was our fault and that we should have known the problems were going to occur. He also claimed that he was going to fix our drainage problems with the gutters but we have yet to see or hear from him since. Clearly Jack wanted a fast job where he could make some easy money. Metro Patio has been the most unreliable and unaccommodating business that I have ever dealt with in my life. I would highly recommend you find another patio business if you are in the market. Metro Patio just wants your money. They are not interested in giving you a good product.
