We were on our way to Zion and about an hour away so stopped to refill the gas tank as well as pick up waters and a few snacks. Lucky since McDonald’s was right across the way so my friend went and picked up several Sausage/Egg McMuffin meals complete with coffee and hash browns. Perfect spot to pick up a little snack between trips and their restrooms were clean.

We all know that going to a Casino can be unhealthy, but how about going to a McDonalds next to a Casino? We were coming from Las Vegas on the way to St. George, Utah, and my body was running on fumes –hunger fumes from not having lunch, after flying in that morning. Checked the highway sign, and it listed a McDonalds. The McDonalds is next to some elaborate Indian casino. I guess once you lose your shirt at the casino, McDonalds is the only place you can afford to eat. The usual clean restaurant, with plenty of parking, and most important to the wife, clean available bathrooms –she’s at the age where when drinking coffee, she needs to make a pit stop every two hours. Now the wife also loves chicken sandwiches, and this place had a special -$ 1 for a spicy hot chicken sandwich. I order 3, and a small drink in the hot afternoon desert temperatures. The manager says he’ll throw in a large drink for $ 1. Sure, why not. I fill up the 32 ounce drink with ice and strawberry orange passion drink. Being an old geeser, I can’t take those carbonated drinks anymore, as they tend to upset the stomach. The service is prompt, the sandwiches arrive, breaded, with a layer of white sauce. We both finishes our sandwiches, and I ask the wife if she wants to split the third sandwich. She says the sandwich sauce isn’t appealing to her. So I finish the third, and my stomach starts feeling a bit uncomfortable. Meanwhile the staff is moping the floor nearby, avoiding our table. Maybe I’m not the only one who has had stomach discomforts with this sandwich? Are they preparing for the worst? I stagger out the door, holding it, but being in discomfort for the rest of the day. Which goes to show that a woman’s intuition is not to be ignored.

I only review if they get my order correct, especially at drive thru, since the food is usually the same no matter which McDonald’s I go to. Everything was good!

Typical McDonald’s, does not have the make your own order yet. Does not have a play pen for the kids

Manager felt it more important to conduct employee training(telling customers in line it will be a while) instead of taking our order. When we received our order, food was cold and poorly put together. I will never visit this McD’s again!

This is a very usual Mac restaurant but the people working here try hard to please. The folks here are very pleasant and if you point any issues out to them, they take care of it quickly.

Driving I-15 from Vegas to St. George, UT this was like an oasis in the desert with an empty coffee cup in hand this place was convenient with easy access on and off the highway. The restaurant was fairly busy but the staff seem to take it all in stride and didn’t waste a lot of time filling the orders. The coffee was fresh and hot as you’d expect from McDonald’s, hey it’s not Starbucks but sometime you just have to make sacrifices and the price point was fair.

Stopped by to get coffee and some sweets(cookies & pie) before heading to Springdale Utah. Typical McDonalds but great location since its a few yards from the off and on ramp. Coffee was hot and the cookies were soft. Good stop and good service.

Pit stop for our way to Antelope Canyon from Las Vegas. Probably the only bigger city you’ll come across on this route. Customer service was nice though. McDonald’s is McDonald’s. Free wifi. $ 1 any size drinks.

Stopped here for dinner, on the way to Duck Creek Utah. What a mistake! Worst McDonalds ever!!! To begin with we stood around, while the girl behind the counter fumbled with getting another customer some cookies. After several minutes a gentleman approached us, and took our order. If he’s not a manager, he should be! The dining room was semi-clean, except for overfilled trash cans, and a broom and dustpan sitting in the middle of it. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting for 2 Big Macs, & a large order of fries… When I complained, I saw the idiot working the drive through say that he had given it to a drive through customer. I waited another 10 minutes while 2 people worked on the Drive Through Orders, and 1 person worked on mine. When the burgers were done, they realized they didn’t have any French fries!!! So, I waited another 5 minutes for them to make the fries! In the meantime, nobody stepped up to offer me something for my trouble! In the time I spent there, I saw 9 employees, only 4 actually do any work. Also the girl I complained to threw away my receipt, probably so I wouldn’t do the survey! Two girls walked in that were obviously locals… I couldn’t tell if they were Regulars, Off The Clock Employees, or if they«Work» the corner. A 15 – 30 minute stop, turned into an hour or longer… So, we got thrown off track, and were forced to get a room for the night. I will never go to this McDonalds ever again!

The bathroom reeks of smoke. There were no napkins. You only get 1 free sauce. There is no up charge for bigger drinks. The prices are cheaper than McDonalds in more urban areas. They aren’t very friendly. It’s also pretty dirty.

Decided to stop in for a quick pit stop before continuing on to Zion National Park. It’s located close to I-15. Got a good stretch break, used their clean restrooms, and bought a snack from their value menu. Made for a nice break before continuing on the trip.

For some reason, I never knew there was a McDonald’s here. Or maybe they just renovated recently and I don’t recognize it. It’s a very nice location. I’m usually not inclined to stop here because when I go on trips, I try to drive straight through with minimal breaks. On a recent trip to Brian Head, though, this place served our needs perfectly. We left Vegas before dawn, so this was our breakfast and bio stop. It’s incredibly convenient with it being a quick off and back on the freeway. The usual McDonald’s WiFi is nice too.

This is always a quick spot for a break when driving to St. George. Easy on and off the freeway. Clean bathrooms. Quick service in getting another drink for the road. Nothing more needs saying.

Located close to the freeway this was a convenient place for a quick bite. My order was the special — two sausage egg mcmuffins, hash brown and a coffee. Sandwich was hot and freshly made, hash brown was weak– warm, soggy and greasy. The coffee was watered down and weak. What happen to the premium stuff…

On my way to Utah, I stopped here for a rest stop. From the perspective of an I-15 traveller, it served me as a good rest stop. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. I had zero complaints about the service and Mocha Frape. On my visit the lobby was busy. I expected this because it is one of the last chances of northbound I– 15 travellers to have a fast food meal or coffee until Utah, and southbound I-15 travellers until North Las Vegas. Plus it is one of the eateries serving Mesquite. Also: This McDonald’s is adjacent to the Casablanca Hotel and Casino parking lot.

This is my first time eating at a McDonalds in about 3 years. I have never been a fan of their food and in the last few years have tried to get away from eating at most fast food restaurants. So why am I writing this review? Well when your are on the road, you want something quick to eat and you don’t know the area, you’ll stop anywhere to get something in your belly. :) We parked our truck in the neighboring parking lot and walked over to McD’s. We both ordered their new Southern Style Chicken Sandwich and frees. Our order took no time at all and we found a place to sit down and eat our meals. I had a hard time not comparing this sandwich and their breakfast sandwich to that of Chick-fil-a. Anyone who’s been to a Chick-fil-a knows that this is just a direct rip off of that. It’s okay. I know it wasn’t going to be anything like the real thing and it wasn’t. Both my girlfriend and I agree that it just was too plain. Nothing special about it. The only thing she liked was their Diet Coke and Fries. Not me. I don’t like McDonald’s french fries. For me, they are just too salty. They lack a certain something. I guess for me. McDonald’s is just too plain. Their food isn’t that great and I’m glad to be off the highway and around much better places to eat.
