I’m very disappointed in the company. Beau was very helpful over the phone. But the days I needed pick up were pushed 4 to 5 days after I picked. The movers seemed helpful they came by on January 3, I was not there because they picked a date after I left luckily I had family. My father paid by check which states in the contract it takes 10 calendar days to process. It is past 10 days I have not yet received a call stating that my items that were placed in storage, because of the processing of the check, has been loaded into the truck and is on its way. I have called twice to know the status of my items and each time have been told that it is not in there hands but rather in the contractors hands. So it has now been 18 days and have not gotten a phone call yet

This was my first experience with a moving company. My friend told me the great experience they had with Elite Moving, so I thought I’d give them a chance. I was moving from south Dallas to Mesquite so I knew moving all my furniture would have been a pain if I were to do this by myself. Elite Moving responded immediately to my inquiries, I first received correspondence from Santiago, who I understand is the owner and/or manager of this company. He was prompt and very professional with my needs! In the end, they made this moving process really easy for me and I knew I was in good hands. Thank you so much Santiago and movers for your service and I would definitely refer to you my other family members/friends who are in need of moving!

In short: Our stuff got moved and it was mostly in one piece. Longer version: It took 6 hours to move half a street down. This is longer than it took my fiancé to move from a 2 bedroom in Plano to a 1 bedroom in Addison using only a dolly and a U-haul. Also, I have never broken anything in a move. I wrap breakables in paper and bubble wrap and pack nicely in heavy duty boxes. I also write fragile on the outside. Somehow they managed to break a lamp and multiple vases. I also had my late Grandmother’s pearls sitting in a display frame and they snapped the pearls in half. I actually intended to move this myself, but my fiancé forgot to tell them. Even still I thought it was completely inappropriate to break them and not apologize or offer any discount on cost. It’s one thing to break an entire box and not realize it; it’s another to be staring at a broken set of pearls. Also, they seem to have issues cashing checks. Our check cleared with no issues according to the bank, however, they claim it’s not going through. Overall, I would say this company is as shady as you would expect from a moving company. I definitely intend to use U-haul again next time or bribe friends with beer & pizza. **Update** The owner did write a comment on this review and I wanted to address it publicly. The order was in my fiancé’s name so it would be difficult to find it under Courtney G. Also, the movers willingly moved boxes labeled fragile and pearls. Based on the owner’s comments, the movers should have refused to move these items. My fiancé was in touch with the movers straight away after we unpacked; of course this was done by phone so I’m not surprised the owner can’t find a paper trail. Like I said shady business.
