Walmart Supercenter

It’s ok as far as Walmarts go. Like any other Walmart, average merchandise at cheap prices. They have a decent grocery selection, but I prefer Fry’s for major grocery shopping. Fry’s gives fuel points. I do go here for after hour purchases as they are open 24 hours. The pharmacy is good offering many prescriptions at $ 4.00. During snowbird season you can expect long lines and crowded parking lots. This store is located near several retirement neighborhoods. For me the key phrase for this store is 24 hour convenience.

The pharmacy at this location is a NIGHTMARE! Save yourself the agony and take your prescriptions elsewhere. They don’t tell you if your meds are out of stock, you just show up and then they tell you with an insincere sorry. The line take FOREVER to get through! By the time I got up to the counter I thought my prescription expired!

I chose this Walmart because it’s close to my house. It’s a typical Walmart, the store itself is clean, and most of the employees are friendly. I’m not a fan of the quality of their produce at this location, but since I didn’t want to have to make a separate trip to the grocery store, I picked through the peppers to find some that were firm and crisp, not soft and wrinkly.
I will be back to this location as its close to my house, but I prefer a Walmart a few miles away for food items.

I decided I am going just go to this Walmart. Store is always clean. Employees are kind. I even had the produce guy apologize for the low stock and asked me if I can’t find what I want to have him look in the back. I didn’t even have to ask for assistance! Now this guy deserves a raise. He was telling a few more customers the same thing. He wanted to help. I never see that in a Walmart but the one on Southern I did. Thank you produce man!

The stars are for this employee. She was super helpful while we were trying to pick out a bicycle. Kudos to her for professional and helpfulness that’s hard to find, especially at Walmart.
We later stopped by the Gilbert location and has the exact opposite type of service.

The customer service ladies are terrible. the old lady in front of me tried to return /​exchange bread that she claimed wasnt fresh, they argued with her, really? why even argue, its bread, give her the money back or exchange it jeez, the lady got frusterated and left the bread and walked out with no money and no bread. Anyway when I got to the regester I was trying to return an item I bought 2 weeks prior for $ 60. they tell me store policy is they dont do returns without a receipt for this amount. really? $ 60. Im sick of walmart stores making their own policys up. The item was still sealed. I didnt even argue. this walmart will be hearing from corprate.

The other reviews are probably valid, but when I went I didn’t have any issues with the employees being rude or not helpful. Most were and it is a WalMart so I know pretty much what I want before I head in. Lines didn’t take long and I was in and out in 15 – 20 minutes… not much more I can ask for in a location.

This is a review of the pharmacy at this particular Walmart. We arrived to p/​u a couple prescriptions having been told they would be ready at a certain time — it wasn’t. We were told it would be ready in 10 minutes…4 different times. We finally went out to do other errands and returned to pick it up. Were then told that they didn’t have one of the items — we had to go elsewhere. Overall wasted 6 hours trying to get this resolved. The clerk was rude and basically told us it was up to tell our doctor that one of the prescriptions wasn’t a ‘typical’ concentration/​dosage — like we would know that. This is by far the worst experience we’ve ever had with a Walmart pharmacy — NEVER again.

Worst walmart ever. Rude personnel. Unshoppable after 9pm due to tripping hazards and aisles fully blocked by pallets and rude employees. I usually get followed around like a criminal here as well. Very dirty store and usually has a bad aroma. Often have empty shelves or unmarked items. Dont waste your time here.

This particular Walmart is not one that I enjoy going to. The floors are always sticky and dirty, bathrooms are always dirty as well. Their produce section is a joke and is not recommended! I bought a watermelon 2 weeks ago and it ended up being rotten so I returned it, they told me to pick out another one, same problem two more times. Finally when I asked them, «what if they are all rotten, will you refund me or give me store credit?» They said «no, you’re basically screwed» Whenever there are great deals on produce in the circular for other competitors, guess who decides to hide that product? Walmart! They are they the day before the deals have begun and the day of, poof! Gone! This is a disgrace to customers because Walmart claims to be so great! The customer service section is always busy with a long line but their 4 – 5 registers are always attended by maximum of 2 customer associates. If you are planning on buying something from the electronics section and have a question or need help, good luck finding someone! On multiple occasions, I have stood there for 15−20+ minutes to get someone and the person that «helps» you doesn’t have a key so prepare yourself to wait even longer !

I’ve been a Wal-​mart goer since I was young and generally have always had a good experience there. Today I went to go buy something that was miss priced when I picked it up and I didn’t find out until I went through the check out line. The cashiers usually recognize that and give it to you at the price it was labeled. Today the cashier, Dot, could care less and was just rushing me to get through her line. I looked back after I was done and she was gone like a lighting bolt. I’m not all that impressed with the customer service at this store so far

I guess I am one of the few people who like Walmart. It is true that the employees don’t seem that motivated to do a good job (however, I wouldn’t be that motivated either if I was paid what they are paid). What ever bad the store has is more than made up by their low prices

Its Wal-​Mart… You know why you come here– for good prices & for a chance to catch a first hand glimpse of «The people of Wal-​Mart» for yourself!!!

Only go to this location during the snowbird off-​season. Otherwise, you’ll be playing bumper cars in the parking lot, standing in the pharmacy line that goes around the building twice and waiting twenty minutes in the check out line for the senior in front of you to write a personal check for milk, eggs and Dulcolax.

The parking is terrible and you take your life into your hands trying to get from your car to the store. Older, outdated super Walmart requiring huge amounts of walking. As is common in Walmarts, there are never enough checkers and even though the checkers place your items in their super flimsy plastic bags for you, they just leave them sitting there for you to place in your cart (I guess customer services is not a priority).

My wife love to do her grocery shopping on this Store. The lights outside the store is bright which is very helpful to us especially we do our shopping late nights. Security keeps patrolling the area. We feel safe every time we shop. Thanks Walmart.

I am reminded of how much I hate Walmart every time I go into this particular location. There are always creepy people, it smells bad, their carts are rickety, their produce dept bad, bakery items spoiled before expiration, and they never have exactly what your looking for in the electronics department. Have been there twice looking for Dance Central and they don’t have it. Would give it one star but the other star is for easy to navigate store, location (down the street from my work), and cheap and good selection in the food department. Other than that, I hate this place

This is your standard walmart. Okay selection, okay things, okay service. Everything is just a-​okay. I like the one in tempe a little better but all walmarts are pretty much the same to me.

People can make fun of Mesa all they want.
I know I did.
I mean, it’s out in the boondocks. Try driving the 12 – 14 hours it takes from the Bay Area, and all you’ll see in the last 5 hours is a stretch of dessert.
But I have to hand it to them… they have a freakin’ Super Walmart! Equipped with enough warehouse room to house a grocery store AND its own Self Check-​out station. Fiancé and I bought all we need on this trip – eggs and little Smokies to cook for breakfast, Hair conditioner, Jodi Picoult’s new bestseller for some reading time, and Decithin diaper cream for our new nephew!
But, dude, I was the only Asian in the whole store!
