This place is top notch. I’m very impressed the staff knows how the body-bones-muscles work through the progressions of ‘treatment’. I’ve improved a lot under the supervision of a smiling, attentive staff. Unsure why but it’s name to me is ‘Ideal Physical Therapy’. update: Why… oh why? Such a great therapy staff experience and now 5 months and 15 sessions later I get a $ 4,000. bill in the mail. ‘Joia C’ in ‘accounting’ says Ideal’s staff somehow failed to get the complete insurance information at sign up and so their incompetence must revert to me. Hopefully The Arizona Department of Insurance Fraud Unit(Chuck Gregory-Investigations Supervisor) will get Joia’s last name(which she refused to tell me) and see that Ideal PT tightens up its business practices. I am expecting a written apology with the correction.

I recently had reconstructive knee surgery and have been going to Soma now for three weeks. I had a ruptured ACL and torn meniscus and opted for full surgery with hamstring graft. As I’ve never been in physical therapy before, I was happy to see the Ortho referred me to one that’s near my crib and easy access to freeway. The staff is awesome and they make me feel very comfortable with the wierdness that is my injury, post op, and rehab regiment. For those of you who have never been through this — it’s very helpful to have good people helping you rehab. I basically had to learn to use my leg again: muscles, bending, lifting, putting weight on it, etc. It’s definitely not an intuitive process. Holly is the lady in charge of my rehab and is a wonderful therapist. She is very patient, friendly and really knows her shit. She has the memory of an elephant and has accommodated me to the nth degree. The owner, Dan is the same way and runs a tight ship. Everyone else there chips in and helps out everyone else(patients and staff). I’ve had 5 or 6 different people looking after me, hooking me up to machines, and helping me with my therapy. What a solid group of people. The place is very clean, organized, and they even changed the TV for me so I could watch my alma mater during March Madness. 1200 bonus pts! I ask a lot of dumbass questions, but they don’t make me feel that way. There’s a ton of helpful information that I’ve been provided to assist in coping with recovery and rehab. Stuff you’d never know unless someone tells you. Needless to say, Im very appreciative for all the knee knowledge that has been dropped upon me the last few weeks. I’m very happy and would recommend to anyone. They even sold me one of their gangster ice packs so I could rehab like the pros at home. Be back on the bike, board, and golf course soon!
