This place was a saving grace when I got diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes. I did not have insurance, and this place offers medical services(including dental, and OB-GYN) for people who are denied AHCCCS and can’t or get medical coverage on their own. I was told about this place while getting treated at Planned Parenthood. I called and got an appointment for an interview, was about a three week wait. I went and had to show how much money I had made in the last 60 days and proof of where I lived. They asked about how much a spend a month on bills. After that they put you on a tier, that tells how much of a discount you get. I ended on tier two, which was a $ 20 copay to visit my PCP, and anything she ordered(blood work or x-rays) was 30% of what AHCCCS would pay. I will admit the wait times where long, once I waited over an hour. The staff was very nice and professional. I felt all my needs where addressed and treated as they should of been. I ended up getting free family planning services. I also ended up getting a Mirena IUD for $ 20(that was just the copay). That type of IUD costs over $ 800. My biggest complaint was that this center was not latex free. I work in the medical field, and I know how important it is to have non latex supplies ready for patients like me, who are sensitive to latex and even some types of tape.
