Homedge

In a sketchy area of Mesa, trying to be Scottsdale (ish). First trip I arrived and there is a sign on the door saying they are CLOSED and at the Phoenix Home Show. Really? You can’t do both? A notation on the website would have been easy enough to keep people from driving 30 miles to visit your showroom. They are trying so hard to be «upscale» wanting you to sign in when you get there and wait for assistance, like they are so busy and in demand. (I was the only one in the showroom) Won’t be back.

Initially I was impressed and won over by the showroom. My contractor brought me in to review the products and I was sold. Once the cabinets were delivered and the installed my heart was broken. I purchased white maple cabinets in a shaker style. When they were trimmed out the trim did not match the white on the cabinet color because they were using oak. The granite was installed in such a way the half the drawers rub the tops of the cabinets. I can go on and on about the small details that are not to my liking but really the most frustrating part comes down to the communication. Either myself or my contractor would speak to the service foreman and then the work would not be completed or completed correctly. It has been right around 2 months since the cabinets were installed and I am still missing shelves on one of my upper cabinets, the color of the crown moulding is still off. (I have to just deal with it because of the time constraints faced during my remodel), I still have a damaged upper door that was dropped that should have been replaced and various paint touch ups that still need to be done. It is unacceptable to make it this challenging to get a job wrapped up, especially if I am compromising quality workmanship. The only reason this isn’t a 1-​star rating was the cost, although at this point I would have gladly paid a little more for the job to completed correctly the first time and in a timely manner. Homedge may be something to consider if your budget is low or you are doing a flip but I will not use them again for any project.

This company is on the top of their game. They have a beautiful showroom… displaying anything you can imagine to create your dream Kitchen. They carry a large selection of granite and quartz slabs… along with a wide variety of prefab slabs that are a great bargain. Cabinetry… appliances…the works.
Most impressive is how friendly and knowledgeable their staff is. They are always willing to go the extra mile for their customers.
If you are planning a Kitchen remodel… or just need a good deal on a small remnant for a vanity top… you have to visit Homedge in Mesa.
