I had ordered some name tags for our office through Hawkeye by phone and e-​mail a few times and decided to just go to their physical location to place a new order since I was in Mesa running errands anyways. The shop is very small, and you have to pass through a small trailer park and drive around the corner to get there.
I have to admit, I was pretty apprehensive walking into the shop. The actual building is a dilapidated structure with broken windows, and random trash piled outside the entrance. I stepped in hesitantly, and saw that the interior was very cluttered.
The service here though, is top notch. The owner, Sarah, greeted me warmly and made my order on-​the-​spot. While I was waiting I had a pleasant conversation chatting with her.
The business itself has been around since 1977, started by the current owner’s parents. Pricing was very reasonable for 3 name badges and a nameplate.
In addition to name tags and plates, they can make trophies/​awards and signs in various materials, such as wood, acrylic, glass, or coroplast.
I love supporting local businesses, especially ones where the business is passed down through the family. Definitely try their services if you need any kind of engraving, sign, or name tag made!
