Simply put, this is a terrible group of ‘professionals’. My story to support this, you ask? Well, I’ll tell it happily. I went in to get treated for vitiligo with an exemer(sp?) lazer a few weeks back with these folks. I got myself pre-approved with my insurance company. I took a half day off work. I got my kids a sitter. I brought cash in hand. I filled my little brain up with hope that I could get this blight of my cheek. Appointment made, I showed up for treatment on time and happy. Only they did not treat me. They kept me waiting in the office for ~30 min or so. OK, no biggie. I’ve waited a few years to pull the trigger, what is another 30 minutes — right? So I finally get seen by a young lady — nice kid. I told her what I had(it’s kinda obvious and noticeable). Told her what I wanted done(lazer). Told her I was pre-approved with my insurance carrier. Told her I had cash to cover any gaps. Perfect. Only I was told they would not do the procedure(the lazer thing) until after they consulted my insurance company. WTH? I had their pre-approval in hand — in writing on paper no less. I had cash. I wanted to get zapped and get this thing off my face starting that very day. Only they wanted my insurance to be verified. I got frustrated when I was told that would take a week or so to accomplish this with my carrier and then they would develop a treatment plan for me. I told her the experience was a waste of my time and I left. The whole chat lasted maybe 5 minutes. Actually less. I forgot about these folks and faces quickly and found treatment elsewhere(surprisingly the new Dr. treated me on my first visit! Wow — actual CARE for my condition). Hmmmm. Fast forward a few weeks. I get a bill from them — actually they had billed my insurance company AND billed me. WTH? They did NOTHING. NOTHING. When I called the office manager, she got angry on the phone when I called her out and she hung up on me. So I called my insurance company and shared with them that I thought this was a fraudulent claim on the part of this Dr. I stand by that belief. These folks took money for doing absolutely nothing to care for my condition. They took money to do nothing other than verify that I had insurance. Period. Now the coda to my tale — I just received a certified letter in the mail saying they don’t want me as their patient anymore!!! HAHAHAHA! Seriously. I would not take my sick dog there for treatment, why the heck would I want to see these shysters again? Sweet Jesus, the gall. OK, so that is my story. I think these folks are shady at best, and in my case I think they ripped off my insurance company and myself. BTW I paid them their few pieces of silver just so I can get them completely out of my life. I suggest anyone considering treatment here — beware. There are far more ethical options in Mesa, AZ.

I am giving 2 stars just for the fact that Dr. Glick has no bedside manner. He is not a friendly guy but from the people I know that have gone to him he knows his stuff. He is all business. Which in my opinion is not always good. We want someone who is at least a little friendly. Then I ask myself would I rather have a doctor that is friendly and doesn’t do the job right or one that is not so friendly that does the job right. I myself do like a friendly doctor but I still have gone to Dr Glick on a recommendation from my primary Doctor McClure. We have never gone wrong with Dr McClure’s recommendations. Dr Glick just is not a friendly guy. If you want someone friendlier you better go somewhere else.

My 19-year-old daughter has been seeing Dr. Glick for a few months for her acne. The treatment plan he has her on is working! She really likes him a lot and says the office staff is friendly.

customer service stinks– enough said. i asked my doctor for a dermatologist referal and was given this guy. in doing my own research i couldn’t find a web page for them besides a single page with no contact information. i called and after immediately being put on hold for 5 minutes i got hung up on. yeah, i really want to go there now– heck, i don’t even trust my primary care doctor after this

I’ve been to Dr. Glick 2 times. Once for my 9mo daughter who was covered in a head to toe blistery rash, once to have a mole check & to look into erasing some of the AZ sun spots I’ve developed. He offered nothing for the sun spots, citing that unless I avoid the sun alltogether it would be pointless. Even after pointing out that I use 70spf and wear a hat daily — he refused to do anything. The mole he removed turned out to be 100% ok — but left a HUGE scar on my thigh…
