Fab Cuts

Stopped going there a couple of years ago… very unprofessional. I think there was only one barber out of many who dressed and acted professionally but she either quit or transferred. I stopped there several weeks ago because Great Clips was crowded and I did not want to wait. I was pleasantly surprised with the new clean look of the premises, professional looking stylist, and a good haircut. Went back again yesterday, different stylist but same result. Possible turnaround. Overheard one stylist tell the other a new manager is about to take over. Hopefully she maintains standards.

let me get this str8t… you gave us a frequent buyers card (buy 8 hair cuts get one free) we earned a free cut, but we cant use it today cuz you’re running a $ 6.99 special instead of the regular $ 12 cut???

The manager is the rudest manager I’ve ever came across! My hair was uneven & she wouldn’t fix it… don’t go to country club & baseline, you’ll be sorry.

A friend and I went to this location of Fab Cuts on Wednesday night. I will NEVER go again EVER!
The new manager has a very BAD attitude the old Manager Hope was worse but this lady went straight chicken head on me. Not professional at all… I asked if my hair could be lightly blow dried just to get some moisture out… It was 8 at night and on the day of the BIG PHOENIX BLIZZARD freakin cold outside, the stylist said sure thing. When my mediocre hair cut was done they tried to charge me $ 10 for a style and $ 3 for shampoo. The «stylist» if you can call her that said lets go to the wash bowl so we went and washed my hair like I normally do. However I have never been charged before. It’s on the board now for the cost of $ 3 but the person who cut my hair never asked if I wanted it she just said «Lets go to the wash bowl!» never a wink of an extra charge. Then she cuts my hair and keeps and SHE keeps telling ME how good it looks because I never gave a compliment. She blow dried my hair and used a flat brush on the front only. When we get to the counter to pay she said, «Okay 12 for the cut 3 for the shampoo and 10 for the quick style so $ 25 is that okay?» You just asked me if it was Okay meaning you know you are doing something shady. I said NO that’s not okay you didn’t style my hair. Then the manager chimes on and says ‚“if we use ANY tool on your hair its a style” then said, «If we use a round brush it’s a style» When the manager asked the «stylist» if she used a round brush she stated, «I used a brush, a flat one» So the manager agreed not to charge for the style at 8PM on a Wednesday night but I was still charged for the shampoo no big deal but shady for sure. Then the manager who was not the one that cut my hair while working on another persons hair stops and says «If ima take the energy to wash your hair then ima charge you for it!» Just an over all BAD experience and will not be going back. and I hope you reading this don’t either maybe they will get the message.

What happened to this place. I would come often when they had professionals working here. Lately the new batch of beauty school graduates is bringing this place down. One guy (spikey hair guy) took an hour and half to cut my hair. As a guy at most it should take about 30 min. He was nervous and shaky the whole time. There conversation was extremely unprofessional about there life drama and how bad they messed up haircuts in the past. Why would I bring my business here when I can go to cost cutters and get the same service. My two stars are for the owner who cuts my hair good and who needs to fire this new batch! Disappointed!
