First of all there is nothing wrong with the storage staff or location. This company itself is horrible. If you are military and expect to be overseas long, I recommend not storing your things with this company. The auto pay doesn’t work most of the time, and when you try and explain your situation they hang up on you. I have been paying online for over a year now and now I can’t even do that due to their website for some reason. Again I say it is not the stores personnel, in fact they were great when I had to come home on a Red Cross message to store my loved ones things. They were there when I needed them. it’s the company as a whole. Horrible customer service online, and over the phone.

I originally made a reservation online. Apparently their system auto assigns an available unit. Once onsite, the manager suggested a different unit (easier access). No problem with us. A month later we get a call from them; something went wrong in the computer system and the unit we were assigned in the computer did not match the unit we had therefore we would have to resign the paperwork. Meanwhile the price had gone up. No problem, said the manager, he would honor the original price. Not so, when I check my bank statement (signed up for auto pay). When we contacted them again, the same manager was no longer there and they just shrugged their shoulders saying nothing we can do.

Friendly and good enough. We originally started with them 5 years ago at the price of $ 99 a month. When we left, the rate was $ 165. Not bad. It could’ve been so much worse.
There was a leak in the storage unit during the great flood of AZ a few months ago. Some boxes were damaged and I’m still sorting through them here in Seattle. I’m hoping that my boxes of books weren’t damaged.
I’d recommend this place, but be warned — the office doesn’t open until 9:30am and it sucks when you have the moving company there at 8am… and left the keys to the locks for your storage unit in another state.
