Went into this store on a Saturday morning and ask Eric for some advice on an electrical issue I was having, his response was pointing me to the aisle and when I returned to ask for help he told me they did not have what I was looking for. I thought that was strange because I did not even tell him what it was I was looking for so I left disappointed and angry. I returned after lunch and another person not only helped me he showed me how to do it. This was the second time this man Eric has done this to me, three strikes your out Dave’s Ace.

My family and I went to buy something from them today. I have two little kids and I was initially pleased to find out that they had a popcorn stand for the kids. It is definitely a good way to keep the kids occupied whilst we shopped. My son wanted some and my wife was going to reach into the machine to get a packet for him but was told very rudely by the cashier that only she could get it for customers.
I was disgusted by her behavior. It was uncalled for. Total lack of customer service.
You just lost us as customers. We will go to Home Depot from now on.

I am so happy that this store is so close to home. The «big box» hardware stores lack in customer service and expertise… don’t even bother trying to find someone to help you at those «other» stores. Here at Dave’s Ace, the experience takes you back to the old-​time hardware stores before the world got so fast-​paced and complicated. Here you will find a friendly staff who are knowledgeable. If they don’t know the answer to your question, they will find someone who does. The products are top-​rate and the customer service is excellent! Can’t say enough about this store. Did I mention how awesome their paint department is? I am lucky it is so close to my home, but I would drive to this store if it wasn’t…now that is saying something!

I love this store! They always have everything I need. Every time I go in there are a bunch of people working and looking to help me out and find whatever I need. I choose this store over Home Depot any day. No hunting around for an employee to help you out. Plus, they give away free popcorn, you cant beat that!

Once again — 5* for our local hardware store!
As I refuse to leave the house on Black Friday and today was Small Business Saturday, we ventured to Dave’s Ace Hardware to do a small bit of shopping. I had my heart set on a light up reindeer (yeah, that’s a long story, don’t ask) I’d seen advertised. We couldn’t find in stock but Gail was as helpful as always and told me I could buy it, and pay for it today (rather than a rain check to take advantage of the AmEx promo) and they’d place the order from the warehouse and call me on Wednesday to pick it up.
As always, fantastic customer service — we are definitely customers who will keep coming back!

Outstanding service. needs a specific part, they greeted me at the from door and took me directly to the item in the store. I don’t know how many retailers could do this, but i was greatly impressed and the have won a fan… Great Job…
