Cactus Pediatric Orthopaedics

I liked the Doctors they were very professional & kind along with the MA. The problem that I had and still have is with the front desk women. The women are rude and pushy at check out. I called and spoke to the billing manager in advance to see if we had a balance or if we would have a copay to have my daughter’s cast removed. He said at that time we had a credit & no we would not have a copay for what he could see. I advised him payday was not until Friday (appt was on monday) if I needed to reschedule I would. He said no it wouldn’t be a problem of anything they would bill me. Day of appointment my daughters father takes her in and front desk told him in advance he would have a copay. Any other time I could appreciate this, how ever I was already told otherwise. My daughter’s father advised he would not be able to make payment until Friday but would gladly reschedule. They told him it would be fine. So the appointment proceeded. At checkout my ex was so rudely put on the spot as they have done with me in the past that they needed payment now or a credit card number to hold on file, they needed some sort of payment, sending him a bill was not no longer an option. Frustrated with the whole situation my he gave them his debit card pretty much knowing he wasn’t going to have enough in his account. On top of frusteration he was also embarrassed. We now have an overdraft fee to pay. Will we return? NOOO. I work for a Doctors office and we would never treat our patients like this. We would have payed the bill on Friday. We have always payed our bill there and any other doctors office we go to. We will take our daughter somewhere else for her follow up care.

Our child was suffering from a case of nursemaid’s elbow and Trent, the physician’s assistant was able to alleviate the issue in a fast, friendly and professional matter. We greatly appreciated his calm and caring demeanor with our daughter. Thank you!

Great doctor & staff however the wait time when you have an appointment is excessive! Both times we’ve been here in the past 2 weeks, we have waited way too long & more than should be expected. Two weeks ago we waited 50 minutes just to be called back to a room & another 25 minutes until we saw Dr. Hrasky. Today it’s been 62 minutes & we still haven’t been called back yet. It’s ridiculous how most doctors run so far behind, their staff books appointments way too close together & I have no idea why they can’t manage a schedule & call ahead & tell people a realistic time to come if they are running this far behind! I run a business, got my son out of school early & would have appreciated a later appointment if they were running his far behind! It’s completely disrespectful of others time! An hour wait or more is unreasonable to wait for anything! If I showed up an hour late to meet my clients at a home to show them or to their home to list it for sale, I wouldn’t have any clients!

Visited the Scottsdale office today with our daughter. Can honestly say it was the BEST office visit our family has ever experienced. Not to mention the quickest appointment ever! Everyone we had the pleasure of interacting with was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Dr. Hrasky and his PA Trent!

Dr Hrasky was thorough and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain things to me I didn’t understand. His assistant was warm and friendly.
The doctor personally called to check up on my son later that day.
