Went to Cabbage Rose quilt store today and I had a hard time leaving! The store is so cute and the fabric is beautiful! Carol the owner and her sons were as sweet as they could be and very helpful! I kept them very busy cutting fabric! They have high quality fabric and lines I have never seen. Each one was just as pretty as the next. I made the Phoenix quilt shop tour while I was in town. And the other stores just cannot compete with Cabbage Rose! Thank you Carol !!!

It’s all about«Good Customer Service»! I drove 75 miles round trip to look at the Nursery/Baby Print Flannels … ONLY to find out that they have ZERO! Now I know the I called The Cabbage Rose and in Mesa. I looked up quilt stores in Mesa. The owner told me very rudely that I could not have called them! They do not carry flannels. I must have call The Cabbage Rose … INTEXAS! REALLY … I think that I would know if I had called TX. She continued to be rude with making remarks of how I the CUSTOMER was WRONG. Really? Never said she was sorry that I drove so far. I walked out as fabric was being cut, along with two other women that walked out also. Due to her rudeness.

Retail area surprising small considering the log cabin building where it is located but they have a good amount of material, well displayed. The spaces were well used so it did not feel crowded. Staff helpful and pleasant. Majority of fabric tended to be floral and feminine but there were blenders and novelty designs. There was a great selection of fat quarters. No restroom nor a place to sit inside but the porch had chairs for husbands.

I have been meaning to stop in here for at least a month just to look around because I do enjoy looking through quilt shops even though I don’t actually quilt. The hours on the door indicate they are open till 8 or so but they’re only open till 5. I think the website does say that. One reason I hadn’t gotten by yet was because they aren’t open very late. The fabrics they carry are just beautiful and looked really good quality. The prices are not cheap, I think I looked at a couple bolts in the $ 10 yard range but I would say well worth it if you want a good quality quilt. They have a certain amount of accessories and embellishments as well. The lady who runs the store and her son were extremely nice. I just walked around looking. It was pushing 5 o’clock so I left. I didn’t need anything so I didn’t buy anything but I would highly recommend it to anyone who does do quilting. There is plenty of parking in the adjoining lot.

Just stopped by Cabbage Rose this weekend with my mom. The owner is very nice and talkative, and her teenage son was very helpful with selections of patterns. The log cabin presents a quaint and beautiful environment to display the high quality quilting fabrics. Full line of Lakehouse, Michael Miller, etc, but she specializes in unique vintage and victorian inspired fabrics that you won’t find anywhere, so if this is your thing, you should definitely check it out. She also carries patterns by local designers.

Beautiful fabric selection for fine quilting. They have the full line of quality fabrics from Lakehouse and others. Also, wool project kits that are gorgeous. I go back once a month and always find something beautiful.
