Best Western Plus Mesa

Stayed here on 2 occasions. Both times staff were in the back office nowhere to be found. Had to finally say «Hello?» To get a young lady’s attention. Check in from there was bleak and bland. Customer service was lacking from the get go. Rooms are decent for the price, but the staff needs work. Not sure if I would return based on the staff alone.

Well this is a pretty nice hotel, I ended up staying at the best western plus for four nights and I must say it was «alright, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was nice.» It’s just a little expensive for the location. It was priced on
for $ 53.00 dollars but the grand total all together was about $ 80 bucks a night. So, be prepared for that surprise when your checking out. Other then that it was a pretty nice stay.

Service was exceptional. Room was clean and well updates. This hotel was much nicer than I expected. Staff was very accommodating.

This hotel is disgusting. Do not let the price and location fool you! We booked our room on
(where this location had a high rating). Upon arrival we got a room and opened the door to find that the room was not in any condition for a new guest. We asked the front desk for a new room — too bad they were completely booked and had no idea that the room was not cleaned. The front desk staff left the desk unattended for a good 30 minutes to go «clean» the room. At this point it was 11PM and we were not up for venturing off to hopefully find another hotel to stay at for the night.
Upon entering the now «clean» room we discovered that they had not actually cleaned anything. Sure they re-​made the bed and picked up trash. The bed sheets were all still wrinkled and had crumbs under the covers. The mattress was old and lumpy. We tried to make the best of this situation but when we walked into the bathroom there was still someone else’s razor hanging from the shower curtain. It is obvious that the standards of cleanliness are non-​existent for this hotel. It is disgusting. I am fairly certain the shower has not be cleaned in a very long time with any sort of actual disinfectant. There was soap scum and dirt buildup lining the tub. I only wish I had taken pictures to reinforce my review.
We did not stay for breakfast. Mostly because we could not wait to get the hell out of there!
I can tell you that I have stayed at hotels that were in remote areas that were clearly not updated in many years. However, even these outdated hotels had the decency to provide a CLEAN room. The Best Western Plus Mesa is not interested in providing cleanly accommodations. I suggest you find anywhere else to stay. Next time I will avoid finding a hotel on
and I will absolutely pay more money to stay at a nicer clean hotel.

We first came here when it was a Hampton Inn. It has since been renovated some. The stopper came out of the bathtub but there were no other problems with the room. The beds were comfortable and the room (overlooking the parking lot) was quiet. There is central air and also a room air-​conditioner – it is noisy. The breakfasts are not as good as before, especially the scrambled eggs that reminded me of the dehydrated eggs I had in the army.
The exercise room is slightly better than most as it has a weight/​chin-​up machine in addition to the usual treadmills.
The location is next to the freeway and making a left turn out of the parking lot is usually difficult do to heavy traffic. There isn’t much of interest in near walking distance. A restaurant/​bar is next door.
