Bahama Bucks

I took my daughter her after school and it was my first time in. the kids LOVE IT! and after trying one of these icy treats I can see why!!! great place to spend a little time with the rug rats!

My kids and I love to go to Bahama Bucks! They are a locally started business and I’m all about supporting local businesses! I love anything as long as it is Bahama Rama Momma style (with ice cream at the bottom)

Last time coming here. Flavors are decent and prices are fair. But for the third week in a row (Saturday late mornings), my 3 year — daughter had to wait as people cut in line because they were on the same sports team as someone ahead of us and they have this rude mob mentality that they belong together even when they arrive much later. Waiting for 5 minutes is fine, or longer when they are busy. But I am done waiting 20 minutes because 10 people (or more) obnoxiously and obviously cut in line and the establishment doesn’t do anything about it. Next time we’ll get a slush at Sonic for less money and better customer sevice.

I really lked bahama bucks at first but they lost my respect when i found out they use apartame in their sugar free syrups which advertise stevia. I thought i found a healthy alternative to a cup full of sugar, but instead i find its worse. Will be back when my blood sugar levels are low. If health is the last thing on your mind and flavor first then you gotta try bahama bucks

This place is amazing! I’m always greeted by name! I go here like twice a week! Fun environment beach themed. Plus the workers are super attentive and helpful.

All I can say is there are a ton of flavors and its delicious. I got the large shaved ice half cotton candy the other cream soda

This place is very neat! So many flavors to choose from probably over 100. They have board games, music, and other games inside. I really like their flavors they create here but I find the flavors not being distinct to their names and the flavors all kind of taste similar to one an other.

The manager Andrew is the best! This location has friendly workers, great flavors, and a cool atmosphere. Way better than the other BB I went to a few weeks back. I loved the bahamarama w/​chocolate ice cream and blueberry cheesecake ice!
I will definitely recommend this one to my friends.

I don’t understand why every smoothie/​coffee/​drink bar doesn’t operate like this. First off: this place is super inviting! I brought my wife and 2 kids for the first time and they were very happy with the space and accommodations. My son ordered the apple and wasn’t prepared for the tartness… The staff replaced our order twice! In order to please his taste buds. AND, in the mean time our table was asked to be wiped. The establishment is Clean and the people are live and exciting. The staff is friendly and inviting. I am so glad I came here. If only they could expand to the west side!

Been coming here for about 15 years. I now live in California but on a hot Arizona day there is nothing better than this.
For first timers, try the blue raspberry and watermelon shaved ice, or the coconut kulana smoothie.
Simply put, I haven’t found anything better and wish that there was a San Francisco location.

Awesome place for dessert. Favorite is their Bahama Rama Mama, which has a scoop of ice cream with shaved ice flavors of your choice.

My family totally loves Bahama Bucks. The shaved ice served here is more like snow than ice, super soft and chopped up really fine so that it melts in your mouth when you take a bite. There are about a zillion flavors to choose from so there should be something for everyone. And then there’s cream you can get on top, which I thought I wouldn’t like at first but just makes an already great product even tastier.
Additionally, and I’m not sure if this is just this location or if others do this too, but I love that at this one there are palm trees outside with everyone’s umbrellas from their snow cones stuck in them! So cute!

Bahama bucks has taken a huge dive from what it was years ago. I’ve tried over and over. First I thought maybe its just this location. I’ve tried other locations and still the same gross old syrup that also tastes like sink water. I’m done with Bahama bucks. Tropical sno is twenty times better.

While it is super popular and busy from what we have seen, the ingredients seem to be more high fructose corn syrup than my regular taste allows for. The sweetener is really over sweet and we usually prefer natural ingredients or at least sugar over corn syrups…
Decent spot for people who are not as concerned with healthy foods…

So I’m giving g 5stars based on how neat I think it is!!! Someone ordered a party pack for our office and it was just wonderful! I was very impressed and I love his they also include an umbrella to dress up your snow cup/​cone ! Tigers blood was amazing !!!

This place is simply awesome. I lived it. The menu and flavors for shaved ice are almost endless. It was great! Will definitely be returning. Just hope that the chain doesn’t stop expanding looking forward to it maybe expanding to California.
Great place. Very friendly and family oriented. Definitely recommend to anyone trying to not melt this summer. Or evwn for a date. Who knows. Its good.

How have I not been to this place before? Got the Mango Crème and Sour Watermelon and my kid got the Birthday Cake. Absolutely fantastic! The place was packed but was still fast. The customer service was great too, I forgot to say no whipped cream on one of the smoothies and was quickly remade with no hesitation. Thank you ladies for being awesome! We definitely will be back.

My kids just love Bahamas Bucks. I appreciate that they can provide a nutritional menu for allergies and carb counting diabetic child. The staff is very friendly and and they allow you to sample the shaved ice flavors beforehand.

Um this is freakishly far out there. Had a groupon and «had to go use it»
I mean it was good, but the distance to travel for this is not worth it.
This place is where all the high school kids go to hang out. Just be prepared for those kiddos when you come to this place.

I randomly looked at my groupons today and realized that this one was expiring so we went for an after school treat.
There are so many choices! I got the strawberry cheesecake with ice cream on the bottom (would have been better without). My kids got root beer float and pink bubblegum. All with cream. They tasted exactly like you would think.
I wish there had been some outdoor seating, maybe there is later into the season. When we got there it was pretty empty but filed up quick.
All the kids working were really nice, probably the best customer service I have experienced from highschoolers. I overheard a lot of them making recommendations.
I wish they had a sampler on the menu. There are so many flavors, it be nice to have an option to try five or so, in a smaller capacity. I was also impressed that the sugar free flavors are sweetened with stevia, and not that Splenda crap.
I’ll be back for sure… and i’ll be getting the pickle juice flavor.
